Vi Keeland is one of my favourite authors! The writing, the story and the characters all come together and show why she’s a firm favourite.
Sloane Carrick was passionate about weddings, personally and professionally, until she was jilted and left at the alter on her wedding day. Now she’s still working in the wedding industry covering weddings for Bride Magazine.
Then she meets him - Wilder Hayes - at a wedding. She was working and he was a guest. They argued for most of the evening and ended up sealing it with a kiss. And then she finds out that Wilder is not only very persistent, he’s also her bosses son. Wilder is totally obsessed with Sloane and wants to wrangle his way into her life, but they both have pasts that might get in the way of their futures.

I enjoyed Jilted a whole lot more than I thought I was going to, I liked the concept but I wasn’t sure I was going to like the MMC. But boy did he not disappoint!!! What I really loved most about this was the communication on how they were feeling and why they acted a certain way. Stepping up and really communicating pushed this book up for me! It made a man that seemed like he could be a very alpha male into a walking green flag in a professional athlete's body! The FMC was everything, I liked that she knew herself and where she wanted to be following this awful event in her life and she really worked on herself to be okay with how she is now and how to be okay with someone else! Honestly this book was a beautiful read and I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!!

Jilted by Vi Keeland.
*Swoon* 5 Star read y'all!!!
First.. how cute is this cover!!! So stinking cute!!!
Next....🥰 ready for a s.l.o.w.-b.u.r.n. and a swoonworthy read? Well, Jilted is next up for you!!!
"Can the jilted bride and the man who is afraid of love find a way to heal each other?"
Well, you're just going to have to pick this one up and find out what happens next. Get ready for some fun banter and some spicy scenes. Keeland never disappoints!!!! Just loved this read!!!

Sloane and her cameraman work for a bridal magazine. She does not want to do this after being left at the altar. While at the latest wedding getting material to write the article, she is dragged in to be a replacement bridesmaid. When she meets Wilder, her groomsman, sparks and goosebumps are flying. The attraction is so strong but Sloane doesn't want anything to do with a relationship.
Wilder can't believe his attraction to Sloane, and he wants to get to know her better. When she refuses, he decides to go the friendship route. Wilder is not a relationship kind of guy.
I loved this story, it is filled with fun, laughter, bickering, best friends, meet-cute, beautiful blue eyes, and an all-around swoon-worthy perfect story.
This sums it up in a nutshell: "Things only get better when I learn that of course he’s the owner’s son and I’ll have to spend the rest of the season working with him at every single wedding I cover this year. Can the jilted bride and the man who is afraid of love find a way to heal each other?"

What a great book!
Sloane spends every working minute talking and writing about weddings, which is a nightmare after being jilted at the alter.
The bridezilla at her newest assignment, ropes her into filling in for a missing bridesmaid. She gets paired with the most gorgeous groomsman, Wilder Hayes. He is perfect—except when he opens his mouth and they end up bickering all evening. Until the incident in the coat closet.
She finds out Wilder isn’t just a jerk, he’s also her boss’s son. And now she'll be spending the rest of the season working with him at every single wedding she covers this year.
I loved seeing Sloane get the love she deserves after being left at the alter. The author did a great job going from the past to the present to show us why Wilder is so resistant to a long term relationship.

This was a fun, flirty read! Wilder fell hard and fast, quickly finding a way to be around Sloane for a whole year in hopes of getting her to give him a chance. Sloane tries really hard to resist Wilder but she didn't have a choice once she's in his orbit. Both of their hearts were a bit battered, which made their journey to their HEA so sweet (yes, Wilder you are!) I laughed, grumbled and swooned all the way to the end. Enjoy!

This was a sweet slow burn with plenty of family and love and some moments that made me want to “slap a bitch” (looking at you Whitney😡)
I appreciated how Sloane and Wilder took their time to really fall in love and find happiness despite their past relationship traumas.
If you're looking for a fun read with packed with family, friends & a budding side romance 🥰, this one’s worth checking out! 💖📚

Thaks to NetGallery and to Vi Keeland for the copy of Jilted, which was the most fun, romantic story that will steal your heart. Sloane and Wilder were the sweetest characters without being cheesy. What started off as a meeting at a wedding, turned into the love of Sloane's life that she always wished for and Wilder found the other side of his soul. I liked how Wilder had to work to get Sloane to go out with him and wasn't a shoe in because he was a famous Rugby player. And who doesn't adore a British accent? Lol

If you love a slow-burn romance with sizzling tension, laugh-out-loud moments, and a swoon-worthy leading man, then Jilted is your next must-read. Think 27 Dresses with the kind of chemistry that has you screaming, “JUST KISS ALREADY!”
Sloane works for a bridal magazine, which means weddings are literally her job. From extravagant ceremonies to intimate elopements, she’s seen it all—except, of course, her own happily ever after. Enter Wilder, the infuriatingly charming, maddeningly suave, and completely irresistible man who pops up where she least expects it.
The slow burn is deliciously torturous, with every stolen glance and hilarious banter making the payoff so worth it. The tension? Off the charts. The humor? Spot on. And the romance? The kind that makes your heart race and your cheeks hurt from smiling.
Jilted had me kicking my feet giggling and clutching my kindle like it was my lifeline. If you love rom-coms with just the right amount of spice, a heroine to root for, and a hero who will ruin you for all others, Jilted is an absolute must-read.

27 Dresses meets The Hating Game.
This book was so good. I really enjoyed it. It was such a fun rom-com. I would love to see this become a movie.
Wilder Hayes. That’s all. We love him. He was down so bad for the FMC and I was obsessed.

I really enjoyed this book! The two lead characters and many of the secondary ones added to the story in fun and meaningful ways. Wilder and Sloane's attraction and friendship were well paced and felt realistic. Vi Keeland always provides storyline situations that reflect the research she's put into several of the challenges the characters faced. I was especially touched that Sloane received solid and caring advice from both a male and female who'd been in her shoes before (not giving anything away ;) )
Well done! Loved it!

Sloan was in love and being as she write for a magazine for brides. She doesnt love to do it anymore and she has to write for a wedding and she not into it. Now she is assign to be a bridemaid and her walk to aisle is a flirt Wilder hayes. The author give a glimpse into Wilder backstory even though Its Sloan story heartbreak and how close off she is about love and Wilder showing her what real love is and having patience and understanding.

Wilder is known for his playboy ways but when he meets Sloane he is smitten and wants to date her.
Sloane has sworn off men and relationships since her ex left her at the alter.
When she meets Wilder she just keeps putting him off, she’s attracted to him but doesn’t trust men yet.
When they finally get together it’s magic, they can’t stand being separated.
Jilted is a slow burn love story with heartbreak, laughter and wonderful characters. I absolutely loved it.

What a lovely story! Wilder and Sloane have such great chemistry from the get-go. I enjoyed the wedding series and the podcast. The story is funny and I love the supporting characters. It's very fun to watch how their story unravel. The way WIlder showered Sloane with affection will make you swoon and it was only a matter of time for her to see that she is worth it.
In the surface, the story may seem sweet and romantic but it also tackles diabetes and Parkinson's disease. Vi wrote these sensitive topics with care and as part of daily life.

This heartfelt read about a jilted bride to be a fun, lighthearted read! The cast of characters is fun and the dynamics are great! The slow burn romance is the best part! This is a great weekend read!

This is a lighthearted/funny read.
Sloane works for a magazine that requires her to attend weddings and reports on them. Sloan being a romantic herself had no issues with doing her job until 6 months ago her life was flipped upside down. Now she is on a 1 year ban from men😉
Wilder is a wealthy business man. Wilder is a self proclaimed playboy and does not see it being a problem until he meets sassy Sloane.
With both having things happen in their past they both have trust issues. This was definitely a slow burn romance but the chemistry between Sloane and Wilder was great throughout the whole book.
Can they get over their trust issues or will they prove to be to big of a hurdle to overcome.
Thank you NetGally and Vi Keeland for the ARC e-book and this is my review and unbiased opinion.

I didn’t want to stop reading Jilted, but I didn’t want it to end.
Sloane Carrick loved weddings since she was 7 years old so writing about them for Bride Magazine is a dream job. But since being left at the altar, her dream job isn’t so dreamy.
While covering a wedding, Sloane catches the eye of groomsman Wilder Hayes, a gorgeous, rich playboy who’s used to having any woman he wants.
But Sloane isn’t any woman. So let the wooing begin.
The story is heart melting, adorable and emotional. I loved simultaneously watching Wilder and their love grow.
The generational NYPD and FDNY family element, and the Carrick bar were an enjoyable bonus to this story.
Pre-order Jilted and circle May 6 on your calendar.
Will be available in Kindle Unlimited. There’s also a deluxe paperback edition available for pre-order that I promptly ordered before I even finished the book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars
🌶️ Spicy scenes

Sloane is on a dating ban and Wilder is happy with his life as a bachelor. She never expects to learn he is her boss’s son after they connect at a wedding. Neither of them is interested in dating, but they also can’t seem to stop thinking about each other.
I loved this!! Sloane and Wilder had such great banter and the connection was undeniable! I loved how neither of them felt like they needed to change who they were. Instead they learned to fit into each other’s lives! I loved both of their families and I hope to see them again!!

Wow, what a story!
Wilder used to play professional rugby. He lives in London, but his father owns Bride’s Magazine amongst other things, so he does travel back and forth to the states, as he’s in the process of starting his own rugby team in the US. Sloane covers weddings for Bride’s Magazine and does an online interactive show on weddings once a week. They meet at a wedding she’s covering for one of Wilder’s college friends, which she is asked to make into sort of a series for the year, since all the college friends are getting married within that year. She’s always been obsessed with weddings since she was a little girl. One problem for her is that she was jilted at the alter of her own wedding. Wilder has his own issues with past relationships, too. I guess you could say he was jilted, too, in a way. But they can’t take their eyes off one another. Another problem Sloane faces is that Wilder’s father is her boss. This is only the background to this story. There are things and feelings and secrets that come out with twists and turns that are surprising to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I always look forward to Vi Keeland’s books. She is a great writer and author.

I am a huge fan of Vi Keeland's books and always get excited when there is a new one to read. Jilted is a slow burn romance between Sloane and Wilder. She is a writer for Bride magazine, and he is a former Rugby player and soon to be owner of a professional team. He also is the son of the owner of the magazine she works for. They meet at a wedding when she is covering it for the magazine and the courting begins.
Wilder is smitten with Sloane from the start, but Sloane is coming off a breakup and has sworn off men for the time being.
I just loved their connection and banter from the start. There were many sweet moments as they were getting to know each other. The way Wilder made Sloane realize her worth and to not settle was heartwarming.
I also enjoyed the chapters that went back in time to Wilder's past to delve a bit deeper into his prior relationships. He definitely evolved over time as he was pursing Sloane. Sloane also had to let down her walls and see all that Wilder was offering her.
Although I am not usually a fan of slow burn romance, this felt like it moved at just the right pace. I really enjoyed Jilted and loved Sloane and Wilder! Another great story from vi Keeland!
