5 Stars!
Sloane Carrick has been obsessed with weddings since she was a little girl, so she was thrilled to have landed her dream job as a writer for Bride Magazine in New York. Then she lost her joy and love of weddings when she was left standing at the altar six months ago. She was completely blindsided, and her trust had been shattered. She’d sworn off men, and decided not to date for at least a year. Then she meets Wilder Hayes. The gorgeous groomsman with captivating eyes at the current assignment she’s working. She’s there to cover the wedding, and suddenly she’s persuaded into filling in for a missing bridesmaid. From there her night continues to take many unexpected turns, and at one point she ends up having a moment with her partner in the ceremony. She thought she’d never see him again, and then he shows up in her world, and everything gets complicated. As they run in the same social circles at weddings, she feels drawn to him. There’s a connection neither can deny, and he always knows how to make her smile. When real feelings get involved, will she finally get her fairy tale?
Jilted by Vi Keeland is a heartwarming, captivating, slow burn romance about trust, healing and second chances at love. It’s packed with tension, humor, electric chemistry, fabulous banter and all the swoon. I really loved this couple together! I couldn’t get enough of this story and just kept smiling while reading. <333

An absolutely fabulous start to the novel, it caught my attention right away and I was immediately invested. The story had such a unique way to bring two characters together, and I loved how that was able to continue throughout.
Wilder and Sloane had such great chemistry, and this slow burn was packed with such great banter and tension. I loved the push and pull of Wilder’s confidence as being both a reason for Sloane to push him away, but also that it charmed her. One of my favorite things is when the characters heal as a result of the relationship. Wilder had already done a lot of growing, so he was ready for Sloane who showed her growth in present time. I loved that Wilder, for his limited long term relationship history, really flawlessly took on the role of proving things to Sloane. It was often subtle and small, but oh so good.
I really loved this story. I thought it was unique, had such great characters, was so easy to connect with. Vi Keeland is an always read author for me, and she again reinforced that with this wonderful novel. Thank you Vi Keeland and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Vi Keeland knocks it out of the park with Jilted! This book is the perfect mix of 27 Dresses charm and The Hating Game tension, with a heroine who gets left at the altar and somehow ends up tangled with her boss’s ridiculously good-looking son, Wilder Hayes. The banter is top-notch, the slow-burn romance is addictive, and the emotions hit just right. Keeland’s writing pulls you in, making you laugh, swoon, and maybe even tear up a little. If you love witty, heartfelt rom-coms with undeniable chemistry, Jilted is a must-read!

A jilted bride, an irresistible groomsman, and chemistry that can’t be ignored. Need I say more? A slow-burn romance with electric chemistry, spicy encounters, and twists you won't see coming. When it's meant to be, author Vi Keeland knows exactly how to write the perfect story that makes you crave this kind of love in real life.

Sloane Carrick is a writer for Bride magazine. She used to love her job and everything about a wedding that is until her ex left her standing at the alter. Now the only way she gets through covering weddings is by hanging with her best friend and partner in crime, Elijah Kim. Elijah is a photographer and takes the pictures of the weddings she writes about. When Sloane has to cover a society wedding that the magazine's owner's son, Ted Hayes, Jr. will be in, she is dreading it.
At the wedding, Sloane meets, Wilder Hayes....a cocky and gorgeous groomsman with the bluest eyes she has ever seen. He seems perfect until he opens his mouth! When a bridesmaid suddenly couldn't attend, Sloane gets roped into being a bridesmaid. Guess who she gets partnered with.....Wilder! The rest of the night is mostly uneventful until the coat closet, then....wham! At least Sloane will never have to see Wilder again!
On Monday, Sloane's boss, Bill and the magazine's owner, Ted Hayes stop by her office. It seems the write up on the wedding went viral. It turns out that there are twelve guys from the same Harvard fraternity all getting married in the next few months and they want her to cover all of them. Ted's son will stop by around 6:00 pm to give her the names and places of all the remaining weddings. Six o'clock comes and goes. No Ted. Finally at 7:45 pm guess who shows up....Wilder! Guess what else....Wilder is Ted Hayes, Jr! Oh, boy...this is going to be a long wedding season for Sloane!
Of course the more time Sloane and Wilder spend together, the faster the sparks start to ignite and before you know it they have crossed that line. Just when it looks like these two are getting their happy ever after, the past comes slamming back in. It will take a lot of inner reflections for these two to find their happiness, but in the end they find a special new happiness.
I just adored this wedding themed loved story. Sloane and Wilder were both people who were burned in their pasts and deserved to find that forever love. It may have been a rough road these two took to get there, but it was sure fun and enjoyable.

This was a really cute book! I loved Sloane and Wilder together, along with their extended families. I loved that Sloane's family was so supportive of one another. A great read!

Vi Keeland is one of my favourite authors! The writing, the story and the characters all come together and show why she’s a firm favourite.
Sloane Carrick was passionate about weddings, personally and professionally, until she was jilted and left at the alter on her wedding day. Now she’s still working in the wedding industry covering weddings for Bride Magazine.
Then she meets him - Wilder Hayes - at a wedding. She was working and he was a guest. They argued for most of the evening and ended up sealing it with a kiss. And then she finds out that Wilder is not only very persistent, he’s also her bosses son. Wilder is totally obsessed with Sloane and wants to wrangle his way into her life, but they both have pasts that might get in the way of their futures.

I enjoyed Jilted a whole lot more than I thought I was going to, I liked the concept but I wasn’t sure I was going to like the MMC. But boy did he not disappoint!!! What I really loved most about this was the communication on how they were feeling and why they acted a certain way. Stepping up and really communicating pushed this book up for me! It made a man that seemed like he could be a very alpha male into a walking green flag in a professional athlete's body! The FMC was everything, I liked that she knew herself and where she wanted to be following this awful event in her life and she really worked on herself to be okay with how she is now and how to be okay with someone else! Honestly this book was a beautiful read and I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!!

Jilted by Vi Keeland.
*Swoon* 5 Star read y'all!!!
First.. how cute is this cover!!! So stinking cute!!!
Next....🥰 ready for a s.l.o.w.-b.u.r.n. and a swoonworthy read? Well, Jilted is next up for you!!!
"Can the jilted bride and the man who is afraid of love find a way to heal each other?"
Well, you're just going to have to pick this one up and find out what happens next. Get ready for some fun banter and some spicy scenes. Keeland never disappoints!!!! Just loved this read!!!

Sloane and her cameraman work for a bridal magazine. She does not want to do this after being left at the altar. While at the latest wedding getting material to write the article, she is dragged in to be a replacement bridesmaid. When she meets Wilder, her groomsman, sparks and goosebumps are flying. The attraction is so strong but Sloane doesn't want anything to do with a relationship.
Wilder can't believe his attraction to Sloane, and he wants to get to know her better. When she refuses, he decides to go the friendship route. Wilder is not a relationship kind of guy.
I loved this story, it is filled with fun, laughter, bickering, best friends, meet-cute, beautiful blue eyes, and an all-around swoon-worthy perfect story.
This sums it up in a nutshell: "Things only get better when I learn that of course he’s the owner’s son and I’ll have to spend the rest of the season working with him at every single wedding I cover this year. Can the jilted bride and the man who is afraid of love find a way to heal each other?"

What a great book!
Sloane spends every working minute talking and writing about weddings, which is a nightmare after being jilted at the alter.
The bridezilla at her newest assignment, ropes her into filling in for a missing bridesmaid. She gets paired with the most gorgeous groomsman, Wilder Hayes. He is perfect—except when he opens his mouth and they end up bickering all evening. Until the incident in the coat closet.
She finds out Wilder isn’t just a jerk, he’s also her boss’s son. And now she'll be spending the rest of the season working with him at every single wedding she covers this year.
I loved seeing Sloane get the love she deserves after being left at the alter. The author did a great job going from the past to the present to show us why Wilder is so resistant to a long term relationship.

This was a fun, flirty read! Wilder fell hard and fast, quickly finding a way to be around Sloane for a whole year in hopes of getting her to give him a chance. Sloane tries really hard to resist Wilder but she didn't have a choice once she's in his orbit. Both of their hearts were a bit battered, which made their journey to their HEA so sweet (yes, Wilder you are!) I laughed, grumbled and swooned all the way to the end. Enjoy!

This was a sweet slow burn with plenty of family and love and some moments that made me want to “slap a bitch” (looking at you Whitney😡)
I appreciated how Sloane and Wilder took their time to really fall in love and find happiness despite their past relationship traumas.
If you're looking for a fun read with packed with family, friends & a budding side romance 🥰, this one’s worth checking out! 💖📚

Thaks to NetGallery and to Vi Keeland for the copy of Jilted, which was the most fun, romantic story that will steal your heart. Sloane and Wilder were the sweetest characters without being cheesy. What started off as a meeting at a wedding, turned into the love of Sloane's life that she always wished for and Wilder found the other side of his soul. I liked how Wilder had to work to get Sloane to go out with him and wasn't a shoe in because he was a famous Rugby player. And who doesn't adore a British accent? Lol

If you love a slow-burn romance with sizzling tension, laugh-out-loud moments, and a swoon-worthy leading man, then Jilted is your next must-read. Think 27 Dresses with the kind of chemistry that has you screaming, “JUST KISS ALREADY!”
Sloane works for a bridal magazine, which means weddings are literally her job. From extravagant ceremonies to intimate elopements, she’s seen it all—except, of course, her own happily ever after. Enter Wilder, the infuriatingly charming, maddeningly suave, and completely irresistible man who pops up where she least expects it.
The slow burn is deliciously torturous, with every stolen glance and hilarious banter making the payoff so worth it. The tension? Off the charts. The humor? Spot on. And the romance? The kind that makes your heart race and your cheeks hurt from smiling.
Jilted had me kicking my feet giggling and clutching my kindle like it was my lifeline. If you love rom-coms with just the right amount of spice, a heroine to root for, and a hero who will ruin you for all others, Jilted is an absolute must-read.

27 Dresses meets The Hating Game.
This book was so good. I really enjoyed it. It was such a fun rom-com. I would love to see this become a movie.
Wilder Hayes. That’s all. We love him. He was down so bad for the FMC and I was obsessed.

I really enjoyed this book! The two lead characters and many of the secondary ones added to the story in fun and meaningful ways. Wilder and Sloane's attraction and friendship were well paced and felt realistic. Vi Keeland always provides storyline situations that reflect the research she's put into several of the challenges the characters faced. I was especially touched that Sloane received solid and caring advice from both a male and female who'd been in her shoes before (not giving anything away ;) )
Well done! Loved it!

Sloan was in love and being as she write for a magazine for brides. She doesnt love to do it anymore and she has to write for a wedding and she not into it. Now she is assign to be a bridemaid and her walk to aisle is a flirt Wilder hayes. The author give a glimpse into Wilder backstory even though Its Sloan story heartbreak and how close off she is about love and Wilder showing her what real love is and having patience and understanding.

Wilder is known for his playboy ways but when he meets Sloane he is smitten and wants to date her.
Sloane has sworn off men and relationships since her ex left her at the alter.
When she meets Wilder she just keeps putting him off, she’s attracted to him but doesn’t trust men yet.
When they finally get together it’s magic, they can’t stand being separated.
Jilted is a slow burn love story with heartbreak, laughter and wonderful characters. I absolutely loved it.

What a lovely story! Wilder and Sloane have such great chemistry from the get-go. I enjoyed the wedding series and the podcast. The story is funny and I love the supporting characters. It's very fun to watch how their story unravel. The way WIlder showered Sloane with affection will make you swoon and it was only a matter of time for her to see that she is worth it.
In the surface, the story may seem sweet and romantic but it also tackles diabetes and Parkinson's disease. Vi wrote these sensitive topics with care and as part of daily life.
