I did not vibe with this collection although I liked the progress of time throughout the volume. It was missing rhythm in a way, in each poem but also overall.
I like the mundanity of it, but it was not enough to captivate me.
A short poetry collection that was filled with more introspective poems and feelings of melancholy than I thought there would be. None of the poems particularly stuck out to me, but none were incredibly off-putting either other than the one in the middle that wanted to talk about meta things.
A nice poetry collection that keeps me wanting more. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for this free eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
I would like to thank the publisher and NetGalley.com for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
As a poetry lover, I was immediately drawn to this book. It's a collection of funny and melancholic poems that will take you on a journey through intense emotions. Each poem is a story of a writer's communication with both himself and his readers, and it's a joy to read! If you enjoy reading poetry and want to feel the emotions in the book deeply, this is the perfect choice for you!
Me encantó esta colección de poesía. Aborda una variedad de temas y me dejó con ganas de más. Quizá hubiera estado mejor que haya más poemas.
This is such an interesting collection. Even down to its formatting, “penultimate again” by Morgan Driscoll is a lyrical, modern, and unique take on existence and its incredulous-ness.
It's the little things that show how much thought and work went into this like key to me was the aspect of time. How each poem is like a reflection of existence at a certain time.
Each poem explores different relatable concerns and that is also what makes this a great read. Loved it.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
