A solid continuation of volume 1, even if it lacks some of what made volume 1 special. Now that the kids know who the mystery girl is, they're determined to help her find Adam so she can return to her body.

I have been a big fan of Ai Yazawa's previous manga titles, Paradise Kiss and Nana, and was really looking forward to reading something new. The mysterious premise of "Last Quarter" drew me in right away and kept my attention. However a clever premise was marred by weak character and plot development. Muzuki has a lot of issues and trauma that were not fully fleshed out and dealt with and I didn't understand her obsession with Adam at all. Actually, I didn’t feel the romance or the drama of Sayaka, Adam, and Muzuki. I actually felt bad for the band of middle schoolers who wasted their time trying to solve a “mystery”. What a let down.

Thank you NetGalley and Viz Media for this arc!

This was a very bittersweet conclusion to Last Quarter. I really liked this; even though I found it predictable it was thoroughly enjoyable and heartwrenching. I feel like anything I'd say would be a spoiler, so all I'm going to say is Ai Yazawa is a queen and I love everything she does ❤️💔🫠🥰

I love Ai Yazawa's work and was massively intrigued by the first, new bind-up of Last Quarter, but this concluding volume fell a bit short and was disappointing for me. I think I set it up as one thing in my head, and the shift/'twist'(s) in this volume veered off in a fairly different direction, so i was left more than a bit wrong-footed. That being said, it's still fascinating, in terms of this amazing mangaka's oeuvre, so I'm very glad it's out there in such a nice edition.

This continues to be a really interesting ghostly, is it love, reincarnation or possession? story! While some plot points are more filled in there are still some mysteries left unsolved. While there is one more volume left, (I checked, because the end of this volume also felt like a decent ending point for the story,) I'm fine with some things being left unexplained, sometimes it works better that way, especially in works like this where emotions can run higher than logical thinking. While the last two volumes have focused on the past, I hope volume 3 goes into the present and or future to round everything out. It's a really good short read!

Ai Yazawa's stories are always so captivating, whether they're slice of life or romantic dramas. Last Quarter continues that trend, and I can't wait to continue reading it!

This volume contained the second half of the story, and I was absolutely not disappointed. What a great conclusion to this manga, I was really impressed, especially with the final two chapters. As expected, the artwork was gorgeous, which I've come to expect with Ai Yazawa's work. I loved the conclusion, I found it to be super satisfying. One of my favorite manga reads of the year by far!
