This is a very entertaining psychological thriller!! There are so many twists and turns and intensity from the start! Of course the book has secrets and lies that you are trying to figure out also!
A quiet neighborhood turns into a drama filled neighborhood, while craziness ensues during the block party! The storyline is filled with action and suspense! This story has multiple pov, which keeps things exciting!

I don’t know what to think…. I liked it but I didn’t and I was lost but couldn’t stop listening 😂😂
I think the best thing you could to is to read it and decide what you think. There were many characters and it was hard at first to figure all of them but as soon as I did I really enjoyed the story. It felt a bit rushed at the end. The narrators were amazing and I enjoyed having different povs.
I would recommend it especially if you like small community and secrets and a bit of twists. I enjoyed it enough to read another book by this author.

This was a wild ride and worth every minute! The audiobook was especially good with a multi-cast of readers. I wish more books would have that edge; I think it really made a difference for the flow of the different storylines and with both a male and female cast. There are several characters whose lives eventually intersect in twisty, thrilling ways...in just a week's time in England. It will keep you guessing which lie will be coming next!
Highly recommend this one for readers of domestic thrillers, suspense, mysteries...or if you're looking for a little something different in your library. It won't disappoint!
This is my first Wilkinson book and I think I'm heading over to his Sleepover series next.

While I was interested in the story enough to finish, I felt like the ending kind of fell flat. I also didn’t care much for any of the characters.. I wanted to love this, but it just didn’t land for me.

Wow, that was a lot that happened just when Heidi and Freddie moved in! They definitely were the match that lit the powder keg of that new neighborhood! Starting off with a glimpse of what happened during the party got me hooked very well. And interspersing the chapters with police interviews gathering witness statements helped keep me thinking of what the heck could have happened! Yes, I know every neighbor around will have their secrets whether it is troublesome teens, drinking problems, lying, cheating, or even worse, though it doesn't usually get aired out at a neighborhood party. This story kept me on the edge of my seat as things got revealed and secrets told and while everyone was guilty of something, I got to really hoping that it wasn't certain people whose secrets and hurts were heartbreaking and not too dangerous.

This was a great thriller told from the viewpoints of Heidi, Willow and Dylan combining into a story that raced by but still got you caring for the folks that live in the neighborhood (even if some of them have odd proclivities and habits). Plus the narrators did a good job of being the different characters and it was easy to tell whose viewpoint it was for the chapter and kept the story going till it reached the explosive ending!

Whenever I am stressed out, I love to escape into a nice, diverting mystery audiobook. Bring on all the distracting domestic drama. If this audiobook is additionally is voiced by a wonderful narrator with a British accent, then even better. This is exactly what I was hoping Home is Where the Lies Live would deliver, and thankfully, I was not disappointed.

This story follows a suburban neighborhood street where everyone, as promised, is lying about something. Our three narrators are: Dylan, a single dad with a hot temper who may or may not have murdered his wife; Willow, a mom and University student, whose home lift is increasingly unraveling; and lastly, Heidi, the latest addition to the neighborhood who might not know her husband as well as she thinks. You know from the start that something bad has happened at a recent block party and then travel back and forth in time as the story and the secrets are revealed.

All of the narrators were great. The story is occasionally quite funny, and the many twists and reveals were often entertainingly absurd. It's a solid mystery and a great audiobook.

I started off really enjoying this book and found myself need to keep going to find out more - I honestly had no idea how it would end and I still don't think I am quite sure on what has just happened

I feel like the last 10% was a bit rushed and I wasn't really understanding what had actually happened.

Writing style was amazing and I did really enjoy this book just felt like we could of had maybe another 2 chapters of more in depth of what had occurred

I was so intrigued by this book and the premise. Unfortunately for me it fell flat, it was suspenseful, but I wouldn't consider it unputdownable. It just fell flat for me. It was missing something for me to truly keep me hooked and engaged.

This book was right up my alley hehe - I loved this British neighborhood and all their dramas and secrets

The strength of the book was in the depth of the characters personalities; Heidi, Willow and Dylan. The audiobook narrators were cast very well and I encourage a listen, as it adds an extra layer to the story

The three neighbors have their own mini mystery to solve and I was equally entertained by all

As well as the three POVs, police interviews take place in the future, hinting at a incident due to occur at the neighborhood street party

I enjoyed the reveals and twists, but I would have loved more of a showdown, especially with Dylan’s storyline

I found a couple of the stories to be a bit too unbelievable but overall, this was a highly entertaining, domestic thriller

I did listen to this whole book but I found myself just plodding along not being in suspense. But the last hour of the book changed the rating. The party took all the intrigue and drama to the top.

Domestic neighborhood thriller. Where it follows three POVs. Heidi, who just moved into the neighborhood with her husband Freddie, who’s already wanting to move again and is starting to act strangely. The next pov is Willow, who’s falling short in connecting with her teenage daughter and having marital problems with her husband. And the last pov is Dylan, the newly single dad due to a tragic loss of his wife by murder. What lies have been told and what secrets are they all hiding?

The storyline fell a little flat to me and could’ve been shorter. Felt like some things could’ve been left out and were unnecessary. While it was interesting enough, I didn’t feel entertained and the edge of my seat felt cold.

Now it could be the narration of this book, as to why it’s not a higher rating because I do love domestic psychological thrillers. I’m not sure but I felt lost at times throughout this book. The narrator for Heidi did well to keep my interest and attention. The one for Willow did well enough but I just didn’t connect well to the male narrator for Dylan. Maybe if I did a tandem read and listen, I could get into the story more and better understand it seeing the words. Will try with a re-read in the future.

This is a neighborhood domestic thriller where several people are hiding secrets. There are a lot of characters to follow, and I felt like the first half of the book was just getting a lot of back stories on each of the households. The audio does have different narrators for the main characters which does help distinguish which household we're reading in the moment. One household is a father and child whose mom was killed, and the killer hasn't been caught. He is consumed with trying to find out who killed her. Another is a divorced, remarried mother with a teenage daughter whose relationships all around are cracking. We also have a married couple whose husband is supposedly always on a work trip and the mother-in-law is staying with them for a time. And lastly, we have the new couple that moved in and one of the other neighbors recognizes the husband as someone she went to high school with. He instantly distances himself from her and suspicions rise from the wife and neighbor that he's hiding something that happened long ago. Overall, this was a pretty good read. It started off slow, but the second half of the book picked up and was very entertaining. Everything does end up connecting and coming together pretty good. I felt like the ending was a bit rushed.

I listened to the audiobook version of this book. It’s about the lives of the people living in a small neighbourhood.
Told in different timelines and from different people’s perspectives, there’s so much going on but at the same time the story moves somewhat slowly.
All in all though is a very pleasant listen, thanks to the great narrators and the twists at the end.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I love multiple POVs and different timelines. It was easy to follow had lots of secrets, twists, turns and suspense. Thank you for the opportunity to listen to this book.

This was such a good suspense novel. Multiple of viewpoints and different timelines. The characters also have their own storyline along with a bigger one at play. This story is more of a slow burn than a fast-paced thriller, which allows plenty of time to dig into each character’s complicated life. Just when you think you’ve figured out the mystery, another layer is revealed, keeping you on your toes until the very end. Wilkinson does a fantastic job of weaving together each resident’s storyline. Overall this book held my attention and I finished it in a weekend.

The book opens with a 911 call and we know something has happened but unsure with who or what exactly has occurred. Just your everyday friendly neighborhood... or is it? There are Heidi and Freddie who have purchased their first home but there something odd going on with Freddie... he is keeping his office locked and not allowing Heidi to enter which maker her very suspicious of her husband. Then there is Willow and Gabe, another couple hiding secrets... Gabe is out at all hours of the night and Willow has major concerns of what her husband is up to. They have a teenage daughter Isabella, but Gabe is not her father. Dylan has a daughter Orla and is a single parent (his wife was murdered just a year or so prior), trying to navigate this role as well as he can. But Dylan is experiencing dark thoughts and some impulsive behavior. Alison is married to Kenneth who works a lot overseas. Alison is the neighborhood organizer, a role she takes very seriously but annoys others...

There were multiple narrators – they were all great in performing the characters.

Overall a solid 4 starts

If you want a book where there is a lot happening this one is for you. There was always something happening and everyone was hiding secrets. There were so many twists and turns but was still very easy to follow even with so much happening in such a short space of time.
It was well written and I will be reading more books by this author in the future.

This is a thriller/drama set in England (I listened to it in audio so if you don't like accents, this isn't for you). Told in multiple POVs, this book was really difficult for me to follow (although the different narrators helped). This book was just too slow for me; it all came together in the end with a great twist so it was worth the read. I imagine other readers/listeners will love it, it just wasn't the perfect fit for me. This one really kept my interest! It is a fun, neighborhood mystery. I listened to the audio version which I thought was really well done. My only complaint about this book is that there are so many characters that it is hard to keep them all straight.
