I enjoyed the first book in this series so I was interested to see what would happen to Ruby next. This time we follow her to the Scotland to look at some rare manuscripts, but instead of those we fall upon a seance. Ruby wonders did these rare manuscripts even exist or was it just a reason to get them there. When one of the three fates is murdered, it is up to Ruby to find out what happened and why, as she is considered a main suspect. Interesting read, can't wait for the next one.

It was great to be back with Ruby Vaughn and this book was even better than the last. There's still so many questions that need answers, so I can't wait for the next book!

Loved the continuation of a great story. It was just as gothic and atmospheric as I'd hoped and a well-rounded story. Can't wait for the next in the series!
