Three women meet on holiday and become friends, all with their own problems all willing to share. This is a book of friendship, happiness and life.
It is a bit of a slow burn, not overly exciting by a nice easy read. Great scenery and backdrop for a book of new friendships.
Thank you NetGalley and Kingsley Publishers for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
I'm sorry but this type of writing is just not my style. I'm sure it's a lovely book but it's just not for me.
discovered Soulla’s books with The Village House and fell in love with the gorgeous locations, interesting characters and the way she explored relationships. The Magic of Miramare didn’t disappoint. You’re lured in immediately as we meet three women and their partners as they look forward to their holiday in a couple of months. Soulla then transports you to the Greek island Kefalonia, and the beautiful resort of Miramare. I felt like I was at the hotel and enjoyed my time of the beaches and painting with the characters. I enjoyed getting to know Stella, Melody and Eliana. All three were very different and likable. Each with their own relationship issues which played out over the novel and wrapped up in a satisfying conclusion. A beach read with substance and perfect for those who enjoy stories of friendship.
