This is a book of two essential collections by Sioux author Zitkala-Sa. The collections here are . American Indian Stories, short stories, autobiographical reflections, and political essays that offer reflections on the author's sense of being between the white and Native worlds. She is a extraordinary writer and I as part Native American am thankful that she wrote this book and her many other works. This is a exemplary body of work of Native American culture that needs to be told to younger generations.. I highly recommend this book for all who seek information on their heritage as well as those seeking historical information on our culture.
