I received a free copy from NetGalley. I started this one and never finished, though I'm not sure why, as it is interesting with well developed characters. And unlike some series, the main characters developed quit well throughout the book instead of just a little for each book in the series. Several cases are ongoing and you, and the characters, are unsure if they go together or not. Some good twists and turns, I look forward to reading others in the series.

The second in the series, but this book could be a stand-alone book. An enjoyable and thrilling read. I recommend it
