Each of these devotions helps you to achieve a deep
abiding peace. The devotions invite you to contemplate a scriptural truth or unshakable promise that will strengthen your relationship with God. No matter what the day brings, you can experience deep peace and joy when you focus on God and His goodness.


I give Think on These Things five out of five stars!

This is such a wonderful devotional book from Lori Hatcher and Our Daily Bread Publishing. I loved all the different devotionals and all the stories that Lori told to make the Scriptural teachings stick. I highly recommend this one and plan on purchasing it for some of my friends and family. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

Think on These Things, 60 Thoughtful Devotions for Renewed Peace by Lori Hatcher is a great thought provoking short daily devotional read. I especially liked how this devotionals center around the verse, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you,” Isaiah 26:3. While the reading may not mention the word “peace” in each one, the focus is on keeping our minds on the goodness, grace, and power of God which leads to a renewed peace.

Each daily writing includes a snapshot of a story, a verse, a thought to ponder and a starter prayer. For those on the go this is a great start to your day. No matter what the rest of the day holds, this gives you an anchor to hold you fast to a deeper peace and fuller joy.

Oh, how this devotional ministered to me! I loved everything about it.

Each day’s devotional begins with a story, then ties the story to a verse or two of scripture, and applies the lesson to us. Then the key scripture is reiterated, followed by the key thought (“Think on This”), then a prayer.

I feel truly blessed to have read through this 60-day devotional! The stories shared throughout are heartfelt and meaningful, making it easy to connect with the messages each day. I gained something new from every devotion, If you’re looking for a devotional that speaks directly to your heart, this one won’t disappoint!

I have been doing a lot of reflecting on myself and my life and looking to improve myself inside and out. I know this starts with getting your mind to a good place and this devotional helped me do that. This is a book to reference and use as a part of your daily life. I enjoyed this uplifting and hopeful devotional, it's perfect for quiet time alone with Our Lord. Great for meditating on and reflection.

In this often sad and discouraging world, I need help thinking positive and true thoughts. This book helped me do that. Every day I looked forward to reading the next biblical reason to be happy that day. The devotions were shorter than some of her other books, but that’s not necessarily bad, just different. I plan to share copies with friends who need a positive and uplifting reminder that God is in control and we have much to rejoice over.

Lori Hatcher has brought us a fantastic 60 day devotional on how to refocus on God. Each devotional starts with a modern story that is easy to relate to, a scripture from different translations that ties it all together, and my favorite part, Think on This section that is our plan of action, followed by a prayer. Insightful and helps us recenter our thinking. Highly Recommend!!!
