I didn’t realize it didn’t come with the book at first, so didn’t read the book. But being in two different book clubs, I reviewed the book club kit. I really liked it a lot and feel it would be fun to use for book clubs. I really liked the author interview and the recipes. My book club does pot lucks and the recipes would be perfect to use. I didn’t really care about the music recs because we never listen to music in book club. But, I think that the guide is a great idea.

This comprehensive book club kit for Sara Raasch's The Nightmare Before Kissmas is fantastic. Complete with an author interview, book club discussion questions, suggested activities, reading lists, and even cocktail recipes, this kit has everything a book club could possibly need, aside from the book itself. This kit goes beyond book club discussion, it's all the makings for a whole book party.

I haven't read this book but I wanted to check out the book club kit. I loved reading the author interview and her responses were warm and engaging. It felt like talking to a friend. I appreciate the content warnings and the supplementary links like recipes, drinks, and the playlist. I think one option that would have been nice to have is a non-colored version of the printables, such as the games, to make it more accesible for book club hobbiests. I found myself wishing that a bookstore near me would use a kit like this for a book club locally.

This is a fun book club kit that is a must-have resource for any book club or even fan club for The Nightmare Before Kissmas. In addition to an author's letter and discussion questions, there are printable bookmarks, recipes for snacks and themed cocktails, a playlist, and suggestions for activities. Thanks to Tor/Bramble for putting this together!

This is such a cute book club kit! The bookmarks and holiday recipes were a great addition. This will surely give any book club who uses it that extra special, personal touch.

This was really cute. The bookmarks are adorable. I did misread and think this included the book, but that's on my part. I will be trying out some of the holiday recipes!

It looks like a very helpful kit. However I misunderstood and thought it would include the book as well.

Firstly, the bookmarks, recipes and 'suggested' activities were delightful! It really helped set the atmosphere for the club meeting.

The contents of the bookclub kit were okay- although I would have liked a few more questions.
The interview with Raasch was interesting to read! It is always nice to have a further insight in the thoughts of the author, especially when you can read them before the meeting itself!

This is a great book club kit and one of the longest ones I've seen. I run two book clubs and I love the diverse content in this book club kit. It has games, recipes, an author interview, a playlist and more. I also like that it shows the other books this author has written in case the individual or the book club is interested in reading more by them. I thought the discussion questions were great for starting a good group dialogue about not only the book but what the main idea behind the book is: that the holidays are about joy not consumerism. I will be using this for a future book club.

This was absolutely adorable! Thank you so much for the Book Club Kit for The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch. The bookmarks included in the kit are not only adorable but also incredibly thoughtful, making the reading experience even more special. I can’t wait to dive into the book and share my thoughts with others!

This is a very cute book club companion for The Nightmare Before Kissmas! Loved the printable bookmarks and the holiday recipes! The author interview was fun to read as well. The games suggested were things I think anyone could come up with on their own but, for a free Book Club Kit I have no complaints!

Thank you Tor and NetGalley for making this available.

I am participating in a traveling ARC for the sequel, Go Luck Yourself, so I figured reviewing this kit with my friends could be a great conversation starter as we each wait our turn.

I would have preferred it in a different format than PDF. While the discussion guide was very cutely decorated, the color contrast between the interview questions and background was insufficient for someone with low vision. And as a PDF, I could not adjust the colors. I found myself able only to read the author answers and not the questions in the interview section.

Fortunately, the discussion questions for groups were better formatted. I really appreciated the questions, especially those around what Hex does in Halloween. I think those could start excellent conversations.

And the bookmarks are too cute! I may need to ask a friend to print them out. This was so thoughtfully compiled, and I highly recommend it as a companion to the book.

This is adorable.

I love that it starts out with the spoiler alerts and trigger warnings.

It includes an author note, discussion questions, and the cutest printable bookmarks! It even includes recipes for a themed Bookclub meeting!

They even thought to include other similar books that you may like if you loved this one.

Very well done, very aesthetically pleasing. Great job.

I enjoyed The Nightmare Before Kissmas so much, so of course I had to check out the book club kit for it. This was such a fun bonus to have. I love it as someone who doesn't really participate in book clubs, I still love getting these little extra snippets from the author and behind the scenes information about a story I love. The games are interesting, and I really love the extra recipe addition. All in all, this is great and I can imagine it is PERFECT for a book club activity.

I accidentally selected this one. But I also saw it is a homosexual couple and I am not interested in books with that content.

This is so fun! Such great ideas for a book club meeting, between an ugly sweater contest, cocktail recipes, cute bookmarks and some really thoughtful questions. There’s also a super interesting interview with the author Sara Raasch, as well as some suggestions for other books you might like if you liked this one. Great for any book club, if you just need a little inspiration or if you need help planning the whole meeting.

This is a testament to "READ before downloading".

Not that it's a bad download, because it's full of information and questions for if you run a book club. When I saw that in the title, for some reason it didn't hit me as it would literally not be the book you get too, but only questions to ask at a club to get things going. That's my bad for not fully reading the description.

I'd like to read the book, because it sounds interesting but I can't give a full review at this point, seeing as it's not exactly the BOOK book, now is it.
