Writing is slow and clunky, story is fine. I would classify as a historical cozy. I will not read this author again.
I had high expectations from the synopsis and I was a little let down. I expected something more thrilling. It was cute and cozy. I did enjoy it but I was hoping for more. The author did a great job on the audio version.

This short audiobook was not exactly thrilling. The premise intrigued me, an isolated cabin being haunted. Sounded perfect! Sadly, I think it was not for me. It was more of a quick scooby doo episode with ghosts.
I couldn’t really get into it, and felt the dialogue was odd and repetitive.
The narrator, who is also the author, was good! Very clear speaking and entertaining. I listened at 1.5x.
Had enough of sappy, hallmark movies, and Happy Ever After during the Christmas season? Then I have just the book for you. Read on to find out what happens to a young woman who inherits a cabin in the middle of nowhere that appears to be haunted. She and her friends descend on the property to try and uncover the truth
