Holy guacamole! This is volume 3 in Freaking Romance. And let me tell you, it lives up to its name. I love this series so much. It’s funny, it’s cute. It makes you think. This cliff hanger is making me freak out. I need volume 4 like now. Thank you Snailords and WEBTOON for allowing me to read this graphic novel in return for my honest review!

Zylith and Zelan continue to work out their interdimensional relationship while the reader gets a peek into Zylith's past and her friendship with Vera. As Zelan encourages Zylith to pursue something more with Vera, an unexpected encounter further complicates things.

While I continue to enjoy the art, the story itself is beginning to lag a bit for me. The more I learn about Zylith, the less I like her character. She's a bit too closed off for my taste. As always, your mileage may vary.

I really enjoyed this volume a lot! We got to see more of Vera and her friendship with Zylith. We also get to see more of Zelan (who is the sweetest cinnamon role). He will do anything for Zylith (even if that means slowly losing her). I’m very excited to see where the story goes, especially after that ending!! Wholly crap, I can’t wait for the next volume!!

Honestly, I have no clue where this book is going. I thought it was going one direction, then it took a turn. I think the story is still interesting, but I feel there are so many loose ends and few resolutions happening. This wasn't my favorite volume, however, it ended in a cliff hanger so I will probably read the 4th one.

The art is wonderful still. It is consistent which is nice.

Snailord's artwork is absolutely breathtaking, showcasing a unique blend of vibrant colors and intricate details that draw you into the world they're creating. The storyline is incredibly charming, filled with endearing characters. I eagerly anticipate diving into volume four, where I hope to see the characters develop further and the plot unfold in new and exciting ways!

Another amazing volume to this epic story. I can never get over the humor and emotion intertwining in these volumes. Let me live in this world curled up with Mr Purrrfect watching it unfold. The cozy comfort vol 3 brought me was like returning home. I need more!!

I have read this one previously when it was published only on webtoons so I was stoked to see it as a full bound book. However I feel that the story has ungone some edits that have rendered the story less impactful and more bland. The main plot points are there, but there's some pieces missing that made the original story endearing. There's also a bit of art style changes that I'm not keen on.

Ultimately this isn't a book or series Id add to my collection.

The ending really stands out for me, leaving plenty of unanswered questions and unresolved tensions that have me eagerly anticipating the next volume. The cliffhanger was unexpected, yet perfectly executed, making it impossible not to want to dive into the next.. With its emotional depth and great art work Freaking Romance continues to standout. If you're not already reading, this volume is a good reason to start!

"Freaking Romance: Volume 3" by Aidyn Arroyal (Snailords) is a graphic novel about a woman named Zylith trying to find herself. She is also in complicated relationships with her friends Vera and Zelan. The further you get into the novel, the more you get to know about the characters.

The artwork in the graphic novel is beautiful and adds to the story! I enjoyed it a lot and want to read the first two volumes of the series! I recommend this graphic novel to anyone looking for a sweet and heartwarming romance with LGBTQ+ representation!

I can't say much without spoiling the other two volumes. The drama continues in this awesome series. There are fabulous twists and turns. The art is amazing. I love how many troupes are in this, and ultimately, I much prefer the books to scrolling on webtoon. I love to see that these writers and artist are getting traditional publishing.

freaking romance is such a good comic that explores so many themes, like family, friendship, love, and sacrifice. volume three is an action-packed read... loved it! and that cliff hanger AAHH!

Freaking Romance Volume Three picks up where volume two left off in the story about Zylith, Zelan and Vera. This volume includes episodes 37-51. Zylith finds herself in a very strange love triangle that is not actually a thing… because one of the people is her best friend (and those are some feelings to unpack!) and the other is a guy who lives in an alternate reality. What’s a girl to do? Zylith decides to do research so she can write a romance comic for a contest… by asking Vera out on a date! After some very awkward moments, and a brush with danger, the three MCs find themselves in a situation none of them could have predicted!

I love this artwork so very much! It is stunning, visually pleasing, and what drew me to Snaillord’s artwork when I first started reading their work on Webtoons. I rate these higher than I might have because the artwork does such heavy lifting. The story is a little bit of a letdown, especially after reading other works by them. There’s nothing to detract from the reading, but there could have been more effort put into the writing. I still look forward to the next part, if mostly for the art!

Having not been on webtoons for some time, coming back to this story line reminded me why I didn't keep up with this series. The art style is eye catching with pops of color and character style, but the story was a little lack luster and I found myself straying away when reading which took a little longer to read than I had anticipated. Overall a good read.

A Thrilling Continuation

I've been eagerly awaiting the next installment of Freaking Romance, and Volume 3 did not disappoint. This series is so damn cute and I'm grateful to have received an advance copy through NetGalley.

For those unfamiliar, Freaking Romance follows our protagonist, Zylith, as she navigates a web of relationships and alternate universes. Her love for both Vera, her best friend from her own universe, and Zelan, a captivating K-Pop star from an alternate one, continues to evolve and deepen.

This volume delves further into these relationships, introducing new dynamics and surprises. The most striking development is Vera's sudden ability to interact with Zelan, adding a fresh layer of complexity to the story. However, it's the cliffhanger ending that will leave readers, like me, eagerly anticipating the next volume.

Snailords does it again in volume three of Freaking Romance! A lot of new content in this one, including how Zylith and Vera meet, finding out how Zylith feels about everyone, our cross-dimensional characters interacting in public, and violence. Volume 4 can’t be printed fast enough!

I like seeing how Zylith’s character has changed since school, especially from a perspective other than her own. But the best part about this volume is that we get to see our characters interact outside of the apartment. While I love a good forced proximity story, it was interesting to see the world going about its business as Zylith and Zelan focused on each other and dealt with this limitations.

This story would be great as an animated series!

I was a little confused during some parts trying to follow both stories but once again, a great time! Mad about the cliffhanger tho!

Great read. I love the ideas, thoughts, and feelings presented in the story and by each character. It’s very raw and real. Very refreshing because they all are so human. The cliffhanger ending got me on the edge of my seat. I’m also full of questions now that Vera can see Zelan. I have no idea what’s actually going on but I’m here for it!
