Somewhere, Anywhere hooked me from page one and didn’t let go. Axel’s cross-country road trip with Lilly isn’t just about miles — it’s a raw, emotional trek through friendship, grief, and rediscovery. The flashbacks of their middle school pranks and high school escapades had me smiling, while Axel’s struggle to face his own pain pulled at my heartstrings. The mix of humor, tension, and heartfelt moments made this book unforgettable. I couldn’t put it down because it felt so real, like eavesdropping on the lives of two people trying to make sense of the world — and themselves.
Oh my gosh, Somewhere, Anywhere hit me like a sucker punch I didn’t see coming — and I loved every second of it. Axel and Lilly’s road trip isn’t just about going west; it’s about chasing the truth and trying not to lose yourself along the way. The flashbacks? Chef’s kiss. The banter? Gold. And that ending? RIP my heart. Seriously, if you want a book that makes you laugh, cry, and maybe want to call your best friend, this is the one. 🚗💨✨
Kaden Ptasznik wrote a strong novel with this book, it had that feel that I wanted from the description. The characters worked in this romance novel for young adults. It was everything that I was looking for and enjoyed the concept and how it worked in the story.
