I am so, so sad to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch and all of these characters (!!!!!!). Cam and Dusty's love story felt so authentic to me – if he wanted to, he would!!! – and both of these characters feel like flawed people who are just doing their best. Getting to see their relationship develop in the 15 year flashbacks really made the present day story feel all the more meaningful, and I loved how each of their independent journeys eventually wound back around to find them taking another chance on each other.
Spoilers ahead!
The only thing I wish we had more resolution on was Cam's relationship with her parents. While we got a moment of interaction when she and Dusty stood up to her parents at the gala, I wanted to know where they left things as they moved forward and if Cam maintains a relationship with them.
The epilogue was ✨LITERALLY EVERYTHING✨ that you want in the epilogue for a series concluding book. We got to see each of the characters and get a little update, and we got a full circle moment with all of the Ryders together visiting their mom/wife's headstone. It just felt like okay, we can let this family go live now and we don't need to have any more of the story to know they'll be okay.
Last thing – I highly recommend the audiobook if you're between copies! Connor Crais as Dusty was so good, and it's worth it just to hear Lyla's author note at the beginning of the book.

LOVE!!! This book was the perfect way to end to the series although I’m very sad that it’s over. I loved getting to experience this with all of them and see how stories tied together and wrapped up. It was like being with friends.

Pretty sad this is the last of the Rebel Blue series! I enjoyed this (Dusty might be my favorite MMC of the series) but Cam’s character just left me kind of… bored. I understand why she was more introverted and self conscious but i feel like they could have given her a little more razzle dazzle?? It just felt so bland and didn’t make Dusty’s undying love feel realistic cuz they didn’t seem to really connect on a deeper level until the very end (& even that was lacking). So idk, not the solid ending I was hoping for but i still enjoyed it. I kind wish Lost & Lassoed had been the final book- Gus & Teddy just had the best banter and the dialogue was fun and exciting. Anyway- 3 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and Random House for the e-arc of this wonderful story.
Okay, Wild and Wrangled gave me ALL the second chance romance feels — the kind that makes you believe timing really is everything. Dusty and Cam? Ugh, they’re the DEFINITION of "the one that got away." Their chemistry was off the charts, and the push-pull between them had me giggling one second and clutching my chest the next. You know that feeling when two people are so clearly obsessed with each other but are both trying (and failing) to play it cool? Yeah, that.
Lyla Sage nailed the emotional tension, and even though there was a part in the book that didn’t totally land for me — it felt a little unnecessary and pulled me out of the flow — I still couldn’t put it down. There’s something about this pairing that just works. Their history, their stubbornness, their soft moments... all of it tugged at my heartstrings.
If you’re into second chance romances with a touch of angst, a lot of heart, and swoony cowboy vibes, I’d totally recommend this. It's my favorite of the Rebel Blue Ranch series so far — and trust me, I’ve read them all.

Solid way to end the series, even though this is my least favourite couple. It seemed to play up their high school break up but I didn't get the pay off I wanted from it.

First and foremost, thank you to the publisher for providing an e-ARC of this title. I absolutely love this author and her western romances—they’ve truly stolen my heart. The romance in this book, especially the second-chance element, was top tier: emotional, well-paced, and deeply satisfying. One of my favorite aspects of her work is how she interconnects each romance through the larger family dynamic. It gives the entire series a rich, layered feel and makes every new book feel like coming home. Overall, another wonderful addition—I can’t wait to see where she takes these characters next! Four stars

I appreciate NetGalley for giving me the chance to read this ARC!
Honestly, I found both The Rebel Blue Series and Wild and Wrangled a bit disappointing. I was eagerly anticipating tales of cowboys and a picturesque ranch, but I just didn’t connect with it. Sadly, Wild and Wrangled was likely my least favorite. I struggled to relate to Cam and Dusty, and I didn’t enjoy how this installment seemed disconnected from the ranch setting. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of how the romance scenes were portrayed. However, I know many people who absolutely love this series and encourage others to give it a shot! Just because it didn't resonate with me doesn't mean it won't be perfect for you!

Another excellent addition to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. The build up to these characters' stories made readers already deeply invested, but there is no lack of emotional investment if read as a standalone.

Such a bittersweet feeling to have the rebel blue ranch series come to an end 🥹
Wild & Wrangled absolutely has my heart, Camille & Dusty are actually everythinggg to me - I can’t express that enough. I will never shut up about this book. My favorite one in this series - and favorite book I’ve read so far this year. I read it in January and STILL think about it all the time!! I’ll definitely be rereading it soon so I can be a part of their world again.
I really loved the dual time lines & flashbacks, it helped me understand them on a more foundational level and I really appreciated getting a glimpse of them in the past. It helped me feel more connected to the characters on a deeper level for sure. Also the Chili’s rep?? So real lol.
Camille & Dusty’s love is the type where they would find each other in every universe, they are *that* meant to be and it was palpable through the pages of this book. The tension, the angst, the YEARNINGGG. SO good. And the amount of growth they both had was beautiful. Also Cam is suchhh an incredible mom.
So much unconditional love, respect, and support not only between the two of them but from everyone else in the book. I’m obsessed with every character in this series, I swear lol.
Couldn’t recommend this book, and this series, enough. Sad to see it come to an end but so happy to have been able to be inside this world 🤎

Fifteen years after Camille and Dusty break up, fate (and a runaway groom) bring them back together again.
Cam and Dusty 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻. God, I loved this book SO much. What a beautiful way to end the series. I think Dusty might be my new favourite. 🤭
For anyone debating whether or not to buy this book, DO IT.

Personal review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ugh, this book was bittersweet! Sweet because it was amazingly written and developed, bitter because it was the last installment in the Rebel Blue Ranch Series. Riley’s mom, Camille, is the star of Wild and Wrangled and follows her second chance romance. Camille captured my attention at the end of Lost and Lassoed, so when I received an Advanced Copy of this novel from @netgalley, I almost died! This book was the perfect ending to Rebel Blue, although I selfishly want more, I will be waiting for Lyla Sage’s next work!
Synopsis: Camille Ashwood had always loved a plan. Her latest was her best yet. She was going to get married so she could secure her daughter’s future, get her overbearing parents off her back, and finally start building her own life in small-town Meadowlark, Wyoming. Easy, right?
But when her groom doesn’t show up to the wedding, Cam’s life is turned upside down—she doesn’t even have a place to live. That is until she finds out the house she’s loved since high school is available to rent. There’s only one problem: the neighbor.
Dusty Tucker has spent nearly all of his adult life running. Running from what, though? More like who: Cam Ashwood. But ever since he returned home last year, the girl who was his first, well, everything has become a woman seemingly determined to keep him at arm’s length. And he was okay with that—at least, that’s what he kept telling himself. She was getting married, after all. But now she’s single and living next door. Dusty wants to show her that they can be friends, and that he can stay put.
Despite her best attempts to stay far away from Dusty Tucker, Cam realizes that being close to him is like slipping into her favorite jeans. Easy. Comfortable. That is until past wounds start to open and feelings—both old and new—wreak havoc. Nearly ten years after they first met, Dusty and Cam begin to wonder if their first love can also be their last. And this time, will it be forever?

This one was a stunner!!! I was so excited to finally be able to read the latest Rebel Blue book! I've been waiting for Cam & Dusty's story and Lila FULLY delivered! Cam & Dusty just might get the second chance they never thought they could have after Cam's wedding to another man doesn't go as expected. I loved the way she wrote this one, and the way that Dusty and Riley's relationship developed was absolutely precious! Absolutely loved it, and although I'm sad that our time with Rebel Blue is over, I'm so looking forward to Lyla's next series!

I thought this book was deeply romantic. I loved how the flashbacks and letters and current scenes were woven together. I liked how Dusty was SO in love with her. And how he kept finding ways to connect with her and move their friendship forward.
There were a few plot lines that didn't wrap up and therefore didn't give me the closure or information I needed at the end of the book. :/
Overall, I think it's my favorite of the series though!
"You are everything to me. You always have been, you always will be."
"I love you for who you've been and who you are and who you're going to be..."

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for providing the ARC!
This is a bittersweet review because it means I have to say goodbye to Rebel Blue Ranch and I fear I am just not ready.
I loved Cam and Dusty's story. I have been dying to find out what happened between them since the 'girl's night' in Swift and Saddled.
While I'm usually not a fan of second chance romances because of the inevitable flashback scenes, I felt Lyla Sage placed them very strategically so that they added to the story instead of being a distraction. Dusty's longing and hesitancy combined with Cam's analytical nature and sarcasm was the perfect mix of angst and light heartedness that is always perfection in this series.
I also loved seeing Cam in mom mode and how the rest of the cast rotates around Riley like she is their own personal sun (Sunshine).
While this wasn't my favorite book in the series, (Lost and Lassoed just can't be beat) I did enjoy this wrap-up to the series and actually teared up at the Wedding scene. It was the perfect end to this whirlwind series and I hope to one day find the peace that Rebel Blue Ranch gave him in my own homestead.

Layla Sage write about life. How things can be misinterpreted if not spoken out loud. Feelings and insecurities especially. I enjoy this series and am looking forward to the next.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for providing the ARC.
I am such a sucker for these lighthearted, sappy love stories and Wild and Wrangled hit the spot.
I loved both Dusty and Cam, and I've been waiting for them to have their story since that fateful girls night in Swift and Saddled. There was just so much unfinished business there, but waiting for the resolution made the outcome so much sweeter.
I'm not usually a fan of of second-chance romances, just because it usually means that something bad happened or someone did something that makes it hard for me to get back in the right mindset of them being together. But the way that Sage tackled it felt authentic and realistic, and it really added to the story.
It's sad that Rebel Ranch is coming to an end, but I loved existing in this world for the brief time I got to do so. I can't wait to see what happens next for Lyla Sage, and I know I'll be reading it.

What a bittersweet ending to this series. I adored Cam and Dusty and their relationship and his will to never give up. Please. It was so sweet and precious and I’m sad our time in Meadowlark has come to an end 😭

A beautiful conclusion to one of my all-time favorite series. While this book is definitely my least favorite of the series, it still had the same aspects that made me fall in love with this fictional world to begin with. Watching the whole Ryder clan and their partners come together for Cam and Dusty was so so beautiful and were some of my favorite parts of this book. Like Gus being there for Cam towards the end of the book genuinely made me sob and Amos continued to give some of the best, most heart-warming advice I have ever read.
I think I didn't connect with this one as much as the others because second-chance romance is always tough to pull off in my opinion and very few authors do it convincingly for me personally. I do think Lyla did a good enough job with this with how young Cam and Dusty were when they were first together and how they grew separately but still found their way to each other, but I think my issue is that everything felt very surface-level to me. I never really felt like I was in Cam's head during the flashbacks and it felt like such a sudden jump from "oh I want to run away with you" to "this isn't working out for me." I even felt like the present timeline had such a drastic switch in Cam being unsure to them making out in the bathroom. I think if these feelings were explored a bit more I would have had a better time with this.
Rebel Blue is my favorite fictional place ever and I am so sad to say bye but I trust Lyla wholeheartedly and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us with Sweetwater Peak <3

"Until we're dust"
I SOBBED through this whole book. It was heart achingly beautiful, one of Lyla's best. A story about growing apart and coming back together, about finding the road that finally leads you home.
Plus, having it be the end of the Rebel Blue series made it that much more emotional. I've grown to love all these characters, and I feel like l'm there when I read about them. Thank you Lyla, for writing such a loving and beautiful series.

This was everything I never knew I needed. I laughed. I cried. There isn’t much else to say except I will forever love Rebel Blue!!
