I think I would read a paper bag if Lyla wrote in it. As always, it was so funny and had me obsessed from start to finish. Dusty, WHEN I GET TO YOU!!!

Thank you Netgalley for this e-ARC in exchange for my review.
I found out about this series relatively recently and was happy to get to read its' conclusion. From a readers stand point there is build up throughout the novel of the tension between the FMC and her parents which will led itself to the growth of said character. That plot it abandoned for for a different and in a way pointless confrontation with the MMC.
That being passed over, I have to say this was a good end to the Rebel Blue series just not a good ending to the book.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me an early copy of the final Rebel Blue Ranch novel, Wild & Wrangled. I had such high hopes for this book, and Lyla Sage delivered. I love spending time here in this little Wyoming town with this endearing blended family. I am such a sucker for second chance romance, so I've been patiently waiting for Dusty & Cam's story for quite some time! This might be my favorite out of the four, if not second to Ada and Wes. I thought the conflict was so beautifully laid out, even though Dusty & Cam's chemistry was absolutely there. I loved getting more Riley in this one, and I think the advantage of this story closing everything out made the town feel more realized and everything came full circle. There were some delightful tropes that I was not expecting, some of which are my favorites- the main love interest standing up to the main character's terrible family! Forced proximity because they live on the same property! This remind me SO much of Hart of Dixie and Zoey and Wade's story, which made me love this book even more. If that is a ship that you love, you must pick up this book! Overall, I really enjoyed my time, and once again Lyla Sage's love for the genre shines through. I am really looking forward to her moving us up north to Sweetwater Peak for the next series, I can't wait to read her romance with a gothic twist.

I’m too sad that this is the last Rebel Blue book, and I normally would’ve saved it for closer to release…but it was burning a hole in my Kindle so, here we are.
We all have a new book boyfriend and his name is [redacted] “Dusty” Tucker. Just TRUST ME, we’re going to be fighting over him.
We already know Cam, and I’ve been so curious about her from the start. I just love that she’s such a part of the family that she got her own book. I don’t think I’ve ever read a single mom of the same kid that I already read about the dad of. Authors, take note! They don’t always have to be villainous! This series was so well done in that regard (and like…all the regards LOL).
Cam & Dusty have a history, and the flashbacks to that time were done perfectly, giving us just enough insight into their past to be able to understand where they are now. And even though some people don’t believe in fate, I don’t think there’s anything else that Cam and Dusty could be. It seems they’ve been meant for each other all along. But Riley was meant for them too.
This book is the embodiment of the phrase “sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together”…because young Cam & Dusty were good, but Cam & Dusty + Riley years later are better.

“I love you madly and deeply. I love you in ways that people don’t believe exists in real life. I love you for who you’ve been and who you are and who you’re going to be.”
Lyla Sage has written a masterclass in second chance romance with Wild and Wrangled. It’s a beautiful bookend to the Rebel Blue Ranch series, and Cam and Dusty’s story is a tender reminder that hope prevails.

A new Lyla Sage book is always cause for celebration! Her books are sexy and fun and her characters are always deftly and caringly drawn. I can't wait for the next edition in the Rebel Blue Ranch series!

This was my first Lyla Sage book and it was a very sweet read. I'm a huge fan of the covers and had seen the other books in the series for a while now so I was really excited to get into it. I really enjoyed learning and growing with Dusty and Cam, and felt the highs, lows, and emotions of their journey. At times, I wish we got a little deeper with their connection, but the scenes with Riley and Amos were so tender and definitely some of my favorites. I loved how they continued to show up for each other, and can't wait to get into some of Sage's other books! Thank you for the advance copy!

Dusty & Cam are the epitome of “timing is everything.” Their relationship has been hinted at and teased in previous books, and I was fully invested in their story—until the third act. The TL;DR: Cam’s character arc is left incomplete, making for a deeply unsatisfying finish. The book carefully sets up a major moment of growth for her, only to abandon it in favor of a random, inconsequential argument.
For those who’ve read the book or want more context before diving in: Throughout the novel, the author deliberately builds tension between Cam and <spoiler>her parents. Sage crafts Cam’s backstory in a way that makes it abundantly clear her biggest moment of growth will be standing up to them, choosing a life of joy and community for her daughter, trust fund be damned. The lessons here are obvious: money isn’t everything; lean on your village, trust your support system, and while she does end up choosing a happier job, that pivotal moment where she confronts her lifelong beliefs never happens. Instead, we get a scene where Dusty stands up to them while Cam stays silent, and after that, her parents just disappear from the story, and the reader can only assume they will continue to cast a shadow over her life since she's never done or said anything to change that.
<spoiler>Instead of the confrontation we were set up for, the third act conflict revolves around a completely different issue, one that feels minor and out of place. The man she loves and wants a future with has secretly owned her dream house all along, and this revelation spirals into an unnecessary argument. When she explained the situation to Wes and he gave her a “are you for real right now?” 🤨 look, I was right there with him. Was the omitted truth ideal? No. But was it worth a dramatic falling-out? Absolutely not. Worse still, this argument does nothing to resolve Cam’s actual character arc. A final scene with her parents—where she declares, once and for all, that she chooses Dusty and Meadowlark—would have made for a far more satisfying and effective third act.</spoiler> The lack of follow-through here is a character development gap so large, I’m genuinely surprised it wasn’t caught in the editing process.
That said, everything else about this book was lovely. Dusty pining after Cam for years, patiently waiting for her to be ready to be his everything again? Male yearning in romantic media is making a comeback, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Cam’s emotional journey—learning to open her heart again—felt realistic, and I adored seeing her bond with Riley after developing a soft spot for the precocious 7-year old in Gus’ book. I cheered when Cam & Dusty finally kissed again, and I’m rooting for them to have a (fictional) lifetime of bliss.
While the ending didn’t land for me, I do love Lyla Sage’s work and eagerly await seeing where she goes next now that our time in Meadowlark has come to an end.
Many thanks to Dial Press & NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review! 🩷
🌶🌶

This book was the perfect way to end the Rebel Blue Ranch series (even though I wish it could go on forever). Cam is a character that I've been curious about since Done & Dusted, made even more true after each snippet into her character with every following book. And Dusty? A tattooed cowboy with a nose ring?! Who wouldn't be curious about him. Their second-chance love story was a perfect mix of nostalgia, yearning, forgiveness and love. Reading about them felt like coming home. I am so sad that this series is over! I will definitely be doing a re-read as i am so in love with all of Lyla's characters. 5 stars!!

I can’t believe I got the privilege to read this book early and now that I’m done I’m so sad it’s over. Rebel Blue is a place you can’t help but feel like is home when you read this series. I wish I could pluck myself right in the middle of town and go exploring. Cam and Dusty were the perfect finale to this *perfect* series. This was a story about two people who found “their person” so early in life, before they were really ready. Although real life settled in and they went their separate ways, the undeniable love they had for each other even in the years they spent apart made their reconnecting that much sweeter. I think Dusty is one of my favorite MMC’s of all time. Even after years apart he was there to rescue her when she needed it. He wrote her letters everywhere he went just to feel connected to her. He always knew she was it for him and never gave up hope that life would bring them back together again.
This series is one that I know I’ll reread when I need a little comfort. Or some life advice from Amos Ryder. And I can’t wait to see where Lyla takes us next!

I liked this one a lot! It hasn’t become my favorite in the series but I’m very happy with how everything wrapped up for the characters. That extra epilogue made me so emotional! Enmy and Ryder are my faves!

Thank you to NetGalley and DialPress for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Y’all… I sat on this series for so long and then got the flu and finally picked it up. I proceeded to read each book in less than 24 hours and they are all 5 stars!
Dusty and Cami are perfection!
Cami is doing her best to work her demanding job as a lawyer to provide for her daughter while engaged to a man she doesn’t love only to appease her old fashioned high society parents. When she is stood up at the alter she finally has a chance to break free and work towards what she really wants.
Dusty is literally the sweetest and the letters he saved for her made me melt!!! What a great end to this series!

I truly think Lyla Sage can do no wrong!
I loved taking one last trip to Rebel Blue with Cam and Dusty. I was nervous going into this one because I’m not usually a huge fan of how second chance romance is executed, but Lyla nailed it.
I had a few minor qualms with a few scenes, but for the most part, I absolutely loved this book.
Thank you for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review!

If it’s a cowboy romance, I’m def going to pick it up. I’ve been waiting for this book since we were introduced to Cam. This didn’t disappoint and I loved it so much.

Lyla Sage has perfected Cam and Dusty's story. This serves as the ideal conclusion to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. As a fan of second-chance romances, I was delighted to witness the journey of these high school sweethearts as they found their way back to each other after more than a decade apart. The development of Dusty's relationship with Riley was wonderful to observe, as seamless as her connection with Teddy. Those notes and that ending had me crying like a baby. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the previous books in the series or appreciates a cowboy, second-chance, single-mom romance.

4.5 Stars
I may have taken my time to read this as I did not want my time with Rebel Blue Ranch to end. The men that work at Rebel Blue have ruined all other men for me lol and I really just need someone to make a special edition set of this series so I can have pretty editions of these books in my collection. This was a great conclusion to the series - I loved how all our favourite characters were integrated with Cam and Dusty's story and I may or may not have cried those last few chapters (okay so I did lol; I'm just so sad to have ended this series). I adore this series so I enjoyed this addition to it though I will say the conflict between Cam and Dusty was really unnecessary and the "will they, won't they" part dragged on too long, especially since we all knew where it was headed anyways lol.
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group (Dial Press Trade Paperback) for the ARC!

I am sad to say that the conclusive book of Rebel Blue Ranch did not live up to my expectations. From the very start of the book I knew that this would not work for me. The magic from the other books is absent in this one... I just found the writing to be very mechanical and stunted. The characters did not come alive for me and they, specifically Cam, acted out of stupidity. The writing was so flat and monotonous and I truly could not look past how elementary it felt. This felt rushed and mashed together without rhyme or reason and I am so disappointed. Every side character served to ask the main character about the other main character. Not a single conversation was held where this didn't happen, and it was truly, truly, horrible.

This last trip to the Rebel Blue Ranch is so sweet.
We've met Camille and Dusty through their relationships with our other friends at the Ranch, and now it is time for their story.
Cam and Dusty fell in love long ago as teens but obligations and dreams and expectations tore them apart. Now can they find a way back to each other?
In Cam, we see a woman trying to meet her family's expectations while sacrificing her own happiness and love. In Dusty, we see a man trying to honor her wishes but fully aware of his and his wants from life.
As Cam rebuilds her life and owns her wants and needs it's a beautiful story about coming into your own-- no matter your age-- and doing what you need to be happy.

Thank you to Netgalley and The Dial Press for an advance copy.
This series has been so fun. I have been waiting for this book every since Dusty accidentally interrupted girl's night and the tension hit brand new heights. This book had a serious case of right person, wrong time and he was down bad for decades. I wish we had a resolution with her parents where she encouraged them to lose her number or something. The love story was solid and I really enjoyed it.

Ugh my heart. I’m not crying, there’s just a branch…or two…stuck in my eyes. I knew from the previous Rebel Blue Ranch books that Cam and Dusty’s relationship was going to be a rollercoaster but I definitely was not expecting the tears.
Cam and Dusty were high school sweethearts, obsessed with each other in every way, permanent as they would say.
But as in many first loves, life happens and life happened hard for these two. Dusty was a free spirit and as much as Cam wanted to be that for Dusty, she felt she had an obligation to stay home and follow her parents wishes.
Fifteen years pass, and Cam gets left at the altar by a man she wasn’t in love with. And for the first time in fifteen years, Dusty is here to stay.
I will say that there were parts of this book I struggled with. For one, it felt like Riley was nonexistent until the last half and while I understand Cam had this network of people to help her, I would’ve loved more Riley and Cam time, especially while she was figuring things out.
I also really dislike the nickname angel and so with that showing up every chapter, I was getting the ick lol
But overall, this second chance romance was everything I hoped for Cam and Dusty. Sometimes it really is that one person, and the feelings never leave. Dusty’s notes had me sobbing.
Also, that bonus chapter with all the updates about our favourite couples from this series was such a perfect ending to this series, even if I don’t want to say goodbye.
