Lyla Sage finishes off the Rebel Blue Ranch series with a perfect bow.

Dusty and Cam's second chance romance is one that readers who love background characters have been longing for since they first appeared. Readers think they know Dusty and Cam from the morsels of information we've gathered from the series, but as we learn there is always something deeper than surface level. Crafted with love and humor Wild and Wrangled is a love letter to second chances and living the life you want.

I have loved every single one of Lyla Sage's 'Rebel Blue Ranch' Series and this one was no exception. Cam and Dusty's story is different than the other three, but I loved learning more about their love story. Lyla Sage's writing style and banter between characters is what keeps me coming back for more.

I've so enjoyed the Blue Ranch series and Wild and Wrangled is no exception. It's a sweet second chance, cowboy romance. The story is lovely and, to me, bittersweet-- it’s the last book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series and I hate to see it end.

Camille (Cam) has just been stood up at her wedding. It was going to be a marriage of convenience to make their parents happy but Graham left her a note saying that he couldn’t go through with it. Cam goes to the Devil’s Boot Saloon to hide out and that’s where Dusty finds her. Dusty and Cam were high school sweethearts and might still be a little in love. He was relieved to hear she didn’t get married but he was worried about her and wanted to make sure she's okay. He found her crying at the bar and took care of her, taking her to get food and clothes (she was still in her wedding dress) until she was ready to go back home that night. We can see that Dusty and Cam had been deeply in love and had gone through a bad break up.

In the present day, Cam is a real estate lawyer for a law firm in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, two hours from her home town of Meadowlark and the Rebel Blue Ranch. She is a single mom from a one-night stand with Gus (Lost and Lassoed). They are friends now and get along well as they co-parent their seven-year-old daughter, Riley. Cam’s parents never paid much attention to her and were critical of everything she did so she is glad Riley has her and Gus’s big family to love and support her.

Dusty came back home to Meadowlark a year ago after being away for over ten years (he and Cam are both thirty-two). He worked as a cowboy from Alaska to South America and while he loved seeing the world, he was ready to come home and was excited when he was offered the job of running the horse sanctuary at the Rebel Blue Ranch. In his spare time, he’s been helping his mom make gorgeous homemade furniture and he also does detailed leather work. Cam and Riley end up renting the house next door and he looks out for them and helps them with repairs.

Whenever we see Cam and Dusty together, it’s obvious they are still crazy for each other but Cam is hesitant to get involved with him again. It’s a slow burn until they are stuck in a snow storm together and finally give in to their attraction. They begin a relationship and while there are still a few hiccups, it's special see them finally get their HEA. (They’ve had eyes on each other all through the series.) I have to say, Dusty is one of the best book boyfriends I’ve read in a long time. His sweetness and love shine through from the notes he writes her in high school up to the beautiful love letters he writes her later.

My one quibble was with Cam. It was clear that Dusty worshipped the ground she walked on but she held herself back from him for months. Also, a big part of the story was how Cam was always trying to please her parents and I would have liked more of a resolution with that in the story. I enjoyed getting to see characters from the other books in the series and how they naturally fit into this story. I think it’s helpful to have read some of the other books in the series but it’s not necessary.

Wild and Wrangled is a happy and satisfying conclusion to the Rebel Blue Ranch cowboy romance series in the mountains of Wyoming. I was lucky to visit the area last summer and I love how Lyla Sage portrays the area beautifully in her stories. I hope we get to see more cowboy romances from her in the future.

Are Dusty and Cam my favorite Meadlowlark couple? Nope! Did I still eat it up? Yep!
Friends to lovers, Cam and Dusty are destiny. I love that you get snippets of previous couples and Wild and Wrangled just reaffirmed my love for Teddy and Gus. Dusty is everything you want in a fictional boyfriend, reaffirming, gentle and sweet. I did want him to be more of a bad boy, though, especially with all his tattoos and the drifter vibes. Cam left me feeling lacking, she had some depth of character at times and then at others she just seemed boring. That being said, the story line was adorable and Meadlowlark always feels like coming home.
I absolutely NEED an Amos prequel, because Amos is everything and makes me cry every time. And I wouldn’t turn down a cute little novella of Hank and Aggie!

Thank you to the publishers for this Arc! I loved every minute of it!

One of my favorite book couples. I was so drawn in by the anticipation of Cam and Dusty’s story from the other books in this series. This book is the perfect mix of nostalgia, familiarity and comfort. When we first meet Dusty, he is portrayed as always going with the wind, never staying in one play for long, and always down for a good time. Then we meet Cam and her adorable daughter. Cam is portrayed as being stable, knows what she wants to do with her life, and loving towards her daughter. I love the push and pull between Cam and Dusty and how they contrast each other but fit so well. I wild twist and turns of this book really pull you in and make you want a life long friendship that turns into a romantic relationship like these characters.

Oh Lyla, if this isn’t the perfect ending to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. This book- this one had me in my FEELS!!! I felt every emotion in this book and it was well worth the read. I wanted to wrap Dusty in a hug- he was just so down bad for Cam in ways the reader could only hope they ended up back together. 🥺😍🥲🤩 and Cam- for how her story started in this book, I’m so glad she got a happy ending.

Second chance romance at its best in this book!!! 100% needs to be added to everyone’s TBR.

I can't believe the series is over! It's definitely bittersweet, but this was still a beautiful send off for the series. I am a sucker for second chance romance and this definitely hit the spot. My favorite parts were seeing young Dusty and Cam fall in love. They are so sweet and the way they YEARN for each other is just perfect. I will miss these characters but I'm very satisfied with this ending! <3

All good things must come to an end, and this was a sweet ending to the Rebel Blue series. While it is not my favorite of the four, it ties up some loose ends well enough that I am satisfied as a reader. Cam and Dusty's second chance story is sweet, but not overly done. I enjoyed the flashbacks to get context and find out the hows/whys of it all. I would have liked to have seen some more detail regarding Cam's upbringing-- it was there, just not developed to the level I think it could have been. That might have made for a little more drama, but that is also just personal preference showing.

To know this is the end of an era is wrecking me. Through the time of reading the Rebel Blue Ranch series, one cannot help but to feel like they themselves are a part of the Ryder crew. To finally, FINALLY, dive into the story of Cam and Dusty was an honor. These two had my heart from the moment of meeting them, and the emotions were high. Dusty... is a god among men and should be the standard. Lyla Sage. Thank you for the journey. It was the best. Thank your for the chance to read this NetGalley! =]

I have had a lot of ups and downs with series. Overall this book was alright nothing special.

I found the romance a bit underwhelming. I didn’t feel the angst and the frustration that’s typical in second chance romance it was pretty flat. It also went from 0 to 100 in like five seconds, it was confusing.

The writing is improving a lot though I have to say this! Since the first book the change has been noticeable and for the better.

"Wild and Wrangled" delivers a satisfying second-chance romance, highlighted by deeply developed characters and a vividly rendered setting. Cam's journey of self-discovery, breaking free from societal expectations and embracing her own desires, is compelling. Dusty, the free-spirited cowboy, shines as he chooses to settle down for love, his long-held pining finally rewarded. The book excels in portraying complex, healthy co-parenting dynamics, showcasing a loving, supportive unit around Riley.
Sage's use of flashbacks enriches the narrative, providing valuable insight into Cam and Dusty's past and their enduring connection. The story unfolds at a comfortable pace, allowing their rekindled romance to develop authentically. While the intrigue is minimal, the strong character development, heartwarming relationships, and the immersive Rebel Blue Ranch atmosphere make this a thoroughly enjoyable conclusion to the series.

I seriously do not know what to do with myself now that my time at Rebel Blue Ranch is over… but wow what a way to say goodbye. Cam and Dusty’s love is so special, just like this whole place. This book was perfect and I will never get over it!!!

I love the cover! Whenever this author writes a book we know it’s going to be an amazing read. I love how the male character is there for the woman main character.

Camille Ashwood is jilted at the altar by her fiance. Dusty Tucker sees Cam at the bar where they’re both drinking and manages to help her escape the embarrassment of being stood up. Dusty and Cam were once high school sweethearts. With Cam newly single and Dusty back home, they both keep running into each other and old feelings start to come back. Will Cam be able to let the past go? Can Dusty make everyone see that he is here to stay? Throughout “Wild and Wrangled” Cam and Dusty grow closer and closer and their proximity leads to the start of a new beginning.

I adore Lyla Sage and the Rebel Blue Ranch series. It was hard to put this book down and I enjoyed every minute of it! I will definitely be recommending it to my friends!

I’m so sad that this series is coming to an end, but this was a wonderful conclusion. I love how with each book in the series the author has utilised different romance book tropes. i’m not always a huge fan of second chance romance but it was done so well here and I was completely enthralled with the romance between Cam and Dusty. I was also really intrigued by both Cam and Dusty from their appearances earlier in the series so I was really excited to get to dive more into them and their chemistry with each other. There was an amazing balance between the tension of the history they have with one another and the romantic tension that is happening in the current timeline.

Lyla Sage’s books have gotten better each time, and I love Rebel Blue Ranch! I love the way that Amos is the inspiration and heart of the ranch and his family. How he walks and talks with each person and how he and Gus both said “Go” when Cam needed to get away from the wedding. (I also love that he didn’t die- I was scared that he might!) I think that Cam was such a relatable character in the way that she gave up parts of herself along the way and had to learn what she wanted and what made her happy. I love Lyla’s inclusivity, how she represents different things that people experience through her characters, often issues that aren’t widely represented. In this book, it was through Cam- Lyla wrote about a mom who was scarred by childbirth and didn’t want to experience it again. I liked that, because there are women out there who can relate and aren’t always depicted. I loved some of the descriptions that Lyla used in this book, like Cam’s response to hearing Dusty’s voice through the bathroom door. Also how Cam was an open wound and time was salt. Dusty was a great leading man- he was sweet and funny and just a great guy. One of my favorite moments was when he celebrated with Gus at Riley’s soccer game.

Speaking of the soccer game, I do have a few editing notes if that is appropriate to include:
-The soccer field was referred to as a court on page 199, and I think it would be much better if that was changed.
-On page 200 it said that Riley was fouled and got to throw it in, but she would actually get a free kick. Also, the halves would usually be 20 minutes instead of 15. Nitpicky, but I just wanted to put that out there.
-The sentence on p.48 about being a shotgun rider doesn’t flow, and I feel like a word may have gotten left out.
-At the top of page 170, the quotation marks are flipped at the beginning of the sentence starting with “You wouldn’t get it…
-On page 203 there’s a sentence that should say “He’d keep ME updated on you” instead of MY.
- P. 231 should say “how much I wished HE was here.”

The only reason I indicated that I wouldn’t be promoting this book in my library is because I am the librarian at a primary school. I have already been hyping this book up to my friends and even got to see Lyla Sage when she came to Memphis. Thank you so much for the opportunity- what an amazing book to read for my first ARC!

Dare I say... but this may be one of my favorite books in this series.

This book just starts with the drama of Cam being left on the alter, and then bumping into her first love on the same night. There were certainly no complaints from me here. One of my favorite things about Sage's writing is how there is romance and also a very prominent plot present that plays such a huge role. She has such a fantastic time intertwining the romance and plot and having them interact with each other.

Cam is also such a strong and interesting character to follow, and her relationships were such a big focus point. You watch her deal with positive and negative relationships and how she grows as she realizes that she doesn't need toxic/negative relationships with people who may have played a big role in her life at some point.

Dusty was also a brand new character for me and I instantly liked him. He has that kind of golden retriever vibe to him but is more mature and understanding. He was genuine, and kind, and was always trying to be supportive in a way that would not cross any boundaries.

Overall this book was fantastic and I truly was enamored with the characters and the plot. This being the last book in the series truly left me with such a happy but sad feeling as I fell in love with the setting and all the characters. Yet they all got the endings they deserved, and this book truly wrapped up each character (even past ones) wonderfully.

The forth official book in this series by Lyla Sage. I really enjoyed this book and happy the conclusion these characters got. The series is starting to run together and don't know how much more I can take of it.

Lyla Sage, how do you continue to just write the best, most tender romances out there? Wild and Wrangled is the final book of the Rebel Blue Ranch series, and I'm heartbroken to have finished the saga of the Ryder family. This book was a perfect final installment of the series and features so much of what has made me love Sage's books. There's just so much longing from both Cam and Dusty, and their love for each other (even when they're denying it) is almost palpable. There's just enough spice, and it never feels like it's taking priority over the actual romance. But what makes me love this book, and this series, the most are the relationships between the entire Ryder family. I just adore how much these people care for each other, and it makes the entire book feel so cozy and warm. Cam's childhood and her relationship with her parents in this book really contrasts with her relationship with the Ryders, and it makes it even more apparent just how great this family is. Dusty is also MY FAVORITE. I loved his style, his effusive affection, and his own relationship with his mom. AND HIS NOTES!! He was just perfect. I have no complaints about this book other than the fact that it's the end of the series, but I do look forward to seeing what Sage does next. 5/5

Thanks to NetGalley and Dial Press for the ARC for an honest review!

This was such a full circle way to end the series. I really enjoyed the flashbacks that told us their story. It was such a beautiful love story.
