Isobel moves back home from college after a fight with her best friend. Her mother is recovering from another miscarriage/death of her baby. One night, a baby shows up on the doorstep with a note asking them to take care of her. While, I knew immediately who the father was, I was a little shocked to see who the mother way. This book tells the story from Isobel and Nora's perspectives. There is a lot of suspense here. I do wish it wouldn't have ended so abruptly, but maybe there will be a sequel??? I feel like a lot of things were left open.

Wow! This book was soooo good! After suffering a miscarriage, Nora finds a baby on her door step. This begins a Rollercoaster ride of many twists and turns. I will be recommending this author everywhere. This is my first book by her, and can't wait to read more!

This was a strong concept and enjoyed the psychological thriller element that I was looking for. The overall feel worked with the storyline and how the characters were used in this universe. L.G. Davis has a strong writing style and was engaged from start to finish. It had that tension that I was looking for and was glad I read this.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

Nora is struggling after another miscarriage. Her husband Tom tries to support her. And her college girl daughter is there for her. When they find a baby in a basket outside their front door they plan to keep her. But who is the mother and why has Nora been chosen to look after little Daisy.

What a whirlwind this book was! I was adamant I knew exactly whose baby it was. I am so glad I was wrong! The twists kept on coming and I had no idea what would happen next. I really liked the ending of this book. The perfect cliffhanger to finish off!

I have read every book by l. G Davis that I could get my hands-on. Stolen Baby was one of her best. Every character had so many secrets and told so many lies it was a wonder how they functioned and lived their everyday lives. Every time I thought I knew where this was going. It turned me in a different direction.

Nora and Tom have been trying to have a baby together for a while. Each sadly resulted in a miscarriage. Nora has a teenage daughter Izzy who Tom considers a daughter but he would also like to have one with his DNA. One morning the doorbell rings and when Nora answers she finds a baby on the front porch and a note telling her to take care of the baby named Daisy. Pulling together to keep Daisy safe, they navigate through all their lies until one by one they start to unravel and explode.

The story is told mostly through Nora's POV with a few chapters from Izzy's POV woven in. The story was so addictive and the writing superb. It was easy to devour in one sitting. The ending was phenomenal and so unexpected. I highly recommend this book.

This talented author has written a page turner with realistic characters. From page one, this novel was intriguing. Questions arose. Red herrings kept me guessing. The story was one that could be nonfiction, sadly, but was fiction, of course. A story that was quickly read...difficult to set aside...I wanted to keep reading until the ending. Some surprises...Thanks Netgalley.

This author is slowly but surely climbing to the top of my favorite authors list! Witch each story she writes she captures my attention and I feel myself immersed in what she had put on paper. I cannot not love her books.

When I stared this book, I had a scenario in my head that fitted perfectly until it did not anymore. I though I had seen through it all and was waiting to see my theory confirmed.

Well, I can assure you, I had taken the wrong urn once again. :)

With one theory out of the window, I soon started a new one, and another one, and the next one, but nothing took me on the right path.

I love it when an author can feed me bits in order to make my brain go in overdrive and then prove me wrong and surprise me with a brilliant revelation.

Great, greater, greatest. I loved it so very, very much. 5 stars

Thank you
