Gorgeous colors and illustrations. I like that the book is set up in a way that you can adjust to the age of your reader. For younger readers the Night, Night (critter) lines are great to stick to, yet if the child is a bit older you can share the critter facts as well. Even the critter facts are written in a fun and accessible way for kids.

Another kids book hit! My 4-year old daughter loves bugs so much she actually has two real live ones as a pet. This book was perfect for her. She loved the colorful pictures and since she loves learning new things about nature she loved the little information about each animal.
Only “negative” issue for her was there should have mention about cats. Other than that this was a perfect goodnight story.

This is probably one of the best bedtime books for little readers out there! The pictures are beautiful and, towards the end, very soothing. The book is also a perfect length for little ones. They'll stay engaged the entire time without getting bored. Lastly, I love how the author included every color of the rainbow (including indigo!), adding a bit of educational value to this book in conjunction with the insect fun facts. I have nothing bad to say about this book - bravo!

A fine board book. Insects and colors at night. I personally prefer 10 Little Caterpillars or the like, but this will certainly circulate.

The perfect book for kids interested in bugs! My four loved it! The pages were just so adorable with the pictures and the most darling little story. Highly suggest. This would be great for preschool classrooms.

Fun nighttime book where you get to learn about animals and colors.
The illustrations are cute and the color story moves quickly.

A sweet book about small creatures with a brief rhyme on one page, followed by facts on the second. We did think this book would be about ladybugs or purely about bugs, but it surprisingly included frogs and hummingbirds.

The artwork is colorful and eye catching. We really enjoyed the pictures.

I loved the fun facts and illustrations for each critter. Such a fun way to introduce children to nature and curiosity. My toddler also approved.

This book talks about colors of the rainbow and different animals. It gives a short description with the name of the animal, hummingbird with violet feathers. Then, it gives a fact about the animal on the next page. The illustrations are very cute! Im doing a study on insects with my class and this would be the perfect book to read!

My 4.5 year old and I have read this two or three times now since receiving it - it’s a very simple book that goes through colours found on insects/bugs/birds/reptiles and includes some fun facts about each creature. We took time to talk about each fact and which ones we already knew about and the new things we learned from reading this book.

The illustrations are simplistic and colourful. I highly recommend this for anyone with young children.

This an adorable, quick read! I loved all of the facts about the various critters, and there were some that even I didn’t know. (Hummingbird’s have 900 feathers, and that’s the LEAST of any bird?!) My daughter and I both loved the artwork and my daughter especially loved how colorful it was.

Night Night Ladybug is a simplistic bedtime book. It’s perfect for my youngest who’s working on identifying colors. We went through each critter color by color all while learning interesting facts. The illustrations are large, simplistic, yet still well done to capture the littlest readers. I’d recommend this for a sweet yet informative bedtime read.
