This is such a beautiful book for readers of all ages who want to embark on their own artistic journey. I have recently been a long term substitute art teacher for an elementary school, and it’s wild because I would never consider myself artsy. Every day I remind the students of the fact that all art is beautiful and that all famous art came from others breaking the rules. This book is so healing in that it reinforces that art and drawing is a journey and one with guidelines that you can play around within. Art doesn’t have to be perfect or profound but instead reminds you and the world that you exist. I can’t wait to do the exercises in the back of the book with my daughters!

This is a colorful pencil illustrated book which teaches how to draw. This would be a good gift for a budding artist.
