This was a unique and well written love story that was engaging. The characters were delightful and interesting with complex personalities. I enjoyed the different plot twists and turns and the entertaining way a romance begins. The ending was wonderful. I recommend reading!

This was a strong sequel in the Beau Monde Secrets series, it had that feel that I was expecting from the first book. The overall story worked with what I was hoping for and enjoyed the way the Regency Historical romance element going through this. It left me wanting to read more in this series and from Anne Rollins.

George and Belle initially got married to obtain Dogwood Cottage from his uncle. Along the way they got to know each other better and discovered a secret about their new house. This is a gentle, sweet, closed door romance. Additionally, those with autism and ADHD will find representation.
Thank you to netgalley for the ARC. Opinions are my own.

A competition and a treasure. George Kirkland's uncle bribed his nephews with the ownership of Dogwood Cottage and an inheritance to live on. The first one to marry wins the prize.George can think of only one young lady he could quickly ask to marry. His childhood friend Arabella Canning but It won't be easy to convince her. Bella wants her own home and family, but can George be the man to fulfill her dream. A marriage of convenience between friends is a good foundation. Once they move into Dogwood Cottage they begin to adjust to each other's personalities. If only the rumor of treasure hidden in the house could be stopped...or found. Interesting characters with a nice plot. Clean romance with kisses.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book from NetGalley.

A strong improvement on the first in the series! I liked these two main characters very much. The neurodivergent rep was very welcomed, especially in Arabella’s case. Still had that domestic, low stakes feeling as the first book but I was more invested this time around.
