Thoughts:
-I was not expecting Tristan (Christian Grey but in Dino form) to be a literal dinosaur the whole time.
-How is he a billionaire and communicating his “desires” when he actually can’t speak?
-The goats being brought into a high rise office building?
-So so many questions but a bonkers and smutty read

Wow...um. that was a crazy smexy book. The end.
But seriously, I wasnt exactly sure what I was getting into and it was a bit much for me, but I have to say the writing wasn't bad.
I appreciate what the author was trying to do here, but I think I could have handled it better if it was a shifter book. Thank you for the opportunity!

Not what I expected from this. I was hoping for something more witty to have me laughing out loud. Instead it felt like Fifty Shades of Gorgosaur was just straight up weird. I'm giving it 3 stars because I am sure there are people out there that would enjoy this book, it simply was not for me.

My friends and I made a whole night of reading this book together. It was short, easy to read, and we got through it quickly and with lots of laughs.. and lots of cringes. Giving it more than one star only because I don’t think it’s trying to be more than it is necessarily, but I still think it could have been much better.

If you’re in it for the extreme ridiculousness, and doing something similar to what my friends and I did, I could see the appeal. However, the book itself wasn’t what I would think of as good. Not even in terms of a humor read. The word usage was strange and often cringey. The scenarios equally strange and cringey. The romance was non existent. This was definitely erotica over romance, which is totally fine, just more of an observation. I am wildly confused by much of the story and am left with so many questions. Mostly about how the “MMC” is a billionaire? Or holds meetings? Or communicates at all? It was just very strange and for me not particularly sexy.

Go into this one understanding what you’re getting. I had fun with my friends, but I would never read this again or recommend it as a genuine read.

Well, that was certainly something. I was more annoyed by the writing than the billionaire dinosaur businessman somehow...

I pick this up solely for the fun ridiculousness of it all, and it was a lot of fun.

These books are totally bonkers, steamy, and laugh-out-loud funny, I started reading Lola Faust Dino erotica books as a palette cleanser after an extreme horror book, and found them to be a lot of ridiculous fun, and this book is the 3rd of hers I’ve read, and I have noticed that the writing is getting smoother, and more polished.

I did a few eye rolls at all the different words one could use to describe their lady bits, but that was part of the fun.

This book was very quick and easy to read.

So If you always thought Juristic Park needed a cross species love affair, or if you thought 50 shades of Grey needed a dinosaur, that this is the book for you.

Short spicy. It is what it is really. It’s Dino smut. Funny and an easy read. Easy for the goodreads challenge

I want it to be a Christmas tradition at this point to read a new Lola Faust book. Last year it was Utahraptor and this year it's the Gorgosaur, who takes a backseat in his own book, to my surprise. The romance in this one is a three-way explicit closed polyamorous relationship where they get happily married as a trio at the end. Let me just say this: EL James could never. Enthusiastic consent, clear and concise contracts, and no Oedipus complex for poor tortured abusive "actually a switch" billionaire boy. Honestly the dinosaur not showing up much surprised me since I'm a big Faust fan, this one focused way more on the human relationship between the two women. It's unrealistic as usual but the caring and interesting dynamic between the two women was really neat. I think Faust could definitely write some good non-dinosaur parodies as well if it took her fancy.

Overall, another hilarious romp with dinos. Don't read this if you're not willing to suspend your disbelief and laugh along, it's not meant to be realistic classic-quality literature.

If you are a fan of smut and want a quick and entertaining read, then look no further! Is it far fetched and ridiculous? Of course! It’s dinosaur love! You should know what you signed up for. Particularly fascinating are all of the ways to refer to her… goods. And you may never look at a pumpkin spice latte’s the same way again. But all that aside, it is a story of a young woman finding her own way in the world, finally catching a break, healing from trauma, and being given the opportunity to explore her unhinged fantasies. You can’t help rooting for her and her mysterious billionaire boss. And while the content seems out there, the diction and flow of the story keeps you hooked. It’s the perfect escapism if you are looking for a light read between books!

Lola Faust books are such a delightful palette cleanser for keeping up reading momentum! They are entertaining and not very long. The premise is most certainly going to be something ridiculous, and they are definitely spicy. I always look forward to the newest title when I see it on NetGalley, and I would 100% buy one of these as a gift for a friend or even for myself if I saw them at a bookstore. Thanks NG, Publisher, and Lola for continuing to put out pure filth (meant in the best way possible, of course!)

What did I just read?! I mean wtf did I just read?!

It’s definitely a quick read. Something mindless of you need a break between reads.

Think Fifty Shades the woman signs a contract with a billionaire to be only his. End of the similarities. And while we are at it let’s throw in a twist he’s a dinosaur and the other assistant is part of the package deal.

Things got weird.

I could’ve done without the goat scenes and Kyle.

Three stars only because it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t fantastic either.

Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to read this.

Thank you to NetGalley for a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

For a Fifty Shades dinosaur parody, the dino action came (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) too little too late.

This is a classic to be! Better than the original. With dinosaurs. Love it!

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for this free e-ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

I will always select read now whenever there is a new dinosaur romance by Lola Faust on netgalley. Billionaire dinosaur count me in! It is truly more fun and enjoyable than Fifty Shades of Grey.

Thank you to netgalley for this copy.

This was my first time reading Lola Faust's work, and I think it won't be the last.

This novella is exactly what it promises to be; Fifty Shades of Grey with dinosaurs and a steamy romance. Since I've never read anything from the author, I wasn't sure what to expect exactly. Despite this being a 160-page novella, the author does a great job setting everything up in the beginning so that the reader is intrigued enough to the point of needing to know what the hell is going to happen. This book isn't for you if you're looking for something highly realistic, a slow burn or even deep connections between the MCs. However, if you're looking for something original, something you'll not find somewhere else, easy to read, fun and entertaining.. you're in the right place ! As long as you're fine with a dinosaur CEO and his assistant romancing (and fucking the brains out ) of our FMC !

Allie was raised religiously, and I found her inner monologues fascinating in this context. They create a clash between the debauchery of the story and how normal it is for everyone else around her and her own beliefs that she has to let go of.

It's not meant to be taken too seriously. It's a perfect blend of spicy and absurd (in a good way). The steam level is out of this world. I found Lola Faust's writing style extraordinary. With this kind of plot, it's quite easy to go too far and make it so absurd and bizarre that it makes the readers uncomfortable. She truly nailed it!

It's ridiculously hilarious, steamy, and crazy. The trigger warnings at the beginning had me confused, but now that I've finished the book, I can only laugh about them!

The only part I didn't like was the whole goat business. It wasn't gore or too descriptive (thanks god!) but I didn't really care to read about a dinosaur devouring goats.

I also didn't like the overuse of the term "inner tigress" the FMC uses whenever she feels horny and has ungodly thoughts. I think it would have been easy to find synonyms so it doesn't feel too repetitive.

Not only that, but I absolutely adored Nellie too. She incarnates sensuality and radiates confidence. I love a female character who's sure of herself and comfortable with her sexuality and desires. It only makes the scenes she was in hotter.

To conclude my review, this is a solid 4 stars, and I will be checking out more of Lola Faust's work.

When I saw the book cover and read what the book was about, I was intrigued. I always wanted to read a book about a dinosaur.

This book is a fifty shades retelling but then with a dinosaur. I enjoyed it more than I would have expected. It’s a short and fun read and it’s very smutty.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I don't know what I expected with a title like this one but #fiftyshadesofgorgosaur was definitely... interesting. Lola Faust is known for her silly dinosaur romances and boy does this deliver on that. If you need a quick read this is one for sure.

Lola Faust, as always, delivers saucy dinosaur erotica. This time, she takes fifty shades of Grey and replaces Christian with a much better love interest—a Gorgosaur, obviously. I loved the little sapphic twist we got. There's just not enough w/w representation in dinosaur erotica. These are always a fun time, and I love Lola, by god does she always come up with a new way fuck a dinosaur for each book. Her creativity and love for dinosaurs will never cease to amaze me. NEVER CHANGE

I would like to say that I originally recieved this as an ARC through Net-Galley, so I am thankful for that however I will give a thorough and honest opinion on this book. If you ever read Fifty Shades or another variant of the billionaire BDSM trope but thought, you know what I think this book needs? Dinosaurs. Then this is probably the book for you. Key word being probably.

Listen, going into a book like this it's clear we're not looking for high-strung literature with copious amounts of world building and such. If anything, you don't even get a real explanation in this HOW dinosaurs are even still roaming - I don't even think Alessandra gets to figure that out considering she's surprised initially by Tristan being a Gorgosaurus but then immediately deciding she's far too horny to investigate further. Truthfully, anyone who picked this book up for one reason: smut, and boy does it deliver on that front.

I won't lie, this was my first and probably only venture into Dinosaur Erotica, the sex scenes were good and I liked that Lola went balls to the wall with adding as much as she could with the limited page count. If I'm completely honest, I preferred the chemistry between Alessandra and Ms Hammond over Alessandra and Tristan but that's probably cause Tristan can't talk (He is, after all, a dinosaur). Did I cringe every time the author supplemented the use of words like clit for 'love button'? Yes, yes I did but we move.

I gave this book a slightly lower rating due to a few reasons, despite enjoying the experience. The first being I very quickly realised that this is not a genre for me. While I may enjoy monster romances, dinosaur ones don't tickle my pickle the way I thought they might. But this is not the fault of the author. Secondly, I felt as though the 'romance' was rushed. The insta-love was crazy considering Alessandra has a total of three working days before the ending of the book where, spoiler alert, Tristan and Nellie propose to Alessandra and confess their love as a trio. I get that it's a short book but it was an instant jump to 'they're hot' to 'i'm in love'.

The reason, which I won't lie put me off a little bit in the beginning before I even read the book, was the trigger warnings page. In my opinion, if you're not gonna take trigger warnings seriously then there's not really any point in taking up the space in the book to have one. After finishing the book I can only see a few valid triggers needed to be listed ('goat' which should have simply been listed as animal sacrifice', the mentions of religion and religious shaming, death, torture, sexual encounters and bdsm practices). The other ones listed just seemed like the author and team were making fun of the practice of trigger warning pages and weren't taking it seriously, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

Overall, I don't want this to be a negative review. This was an okay read, I didn't go into this book thinking it was going to be life changing. I still enjoyed it, otherwise I wouldnt have finished it, but there were aspects of this book that either weren't for me and I can accept that. I do think that for people who love a fun, quick and easy dinosaur romance that they can read in an afternoon then this is for them.

This was an absolutely wild ride. I had no idea what to expect really but it gave me a good laugh over all in the best way. I’ll be honest though, it wasn’t as raunchy as it made itself out to be? I was expecting a little bit more and I think it could’ve done with being longer overall.
