Momentum by Lee Chambers is a truly inspiring read that encourages you to take control of your mindset and unlock your full potential. One of the aspects I really appreciated was the inclusion of motivational quotes throughout the book, which really helped to reinforce the powerful ideas Lee presents.

The book provides practical exercises to help you hold onto your vision, and I especially loved the idea of creating a mood board. It’s a fantastic way to start bringing your dreams to life in a visual form, which is something I’m definitely going to try.

However, the chapter that stood out the most to me was How to See Challenges, Not Threats. This chapter delves into how our brains react to challenges and why our bodies behave the way they do when faced with obstacles. Lee does a brilliant job of explaining the science behind our responses and offers insightful strategies to reframe our thinking. It’s so empowering to understand that we can change our approach to challenges and use them as opportunities for growth.

Momentum is a thought-provoking and practical guide to becoming your best self, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to gain clarity and focus in their life.

This was a pacey and interesting book giving great insights into developing your career, keeping going and being flexible. A few things really struck me - one the idea of having a flexible vision for your life that encompasses a sense of purpose, personal growth, balance and emotional satisfaction. Cultivating this agility approach can lead to whole new ventures. He encourages people to attend workshops in different field to see what happens, making career sidesteps and being alert to possible mentors in different situations. Plenty more takeaways in this book. Thanks to NetGalley for the advance copy.
