90 Days to Love is easily one of the best books I’ve read all year. Not only does it examine the complexities of growing [romantic] love between two people, it also looks at self-love, familial, and platonic love.
Anyssa Kelley’s turning 30 in 90 days, and she’s got a list of things she wants to do, beforehand, including finding love. Along her journey, she meets Camila Martinez who could pass for her look alike, and the two decide to pull a switcheroo which launches Anyssa on quite the adventure. She finds herself at an exclusive resort/vineyard owned by the handsome and mysterious Nazário Rivas, and upon meeting him, their attraction is explosive.
I was completely immersed in the pages as Anyssa navigates through self-discovery, evaluates her self-worth, and what it truly means to love. The author’s ability to make a fictional story so visceral, realistic, and relatable was truly remarkable. She left not one loose end as the subplots help tie it all up in one beautiful bow. Bravo, Mrs. Verano, bravo!
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me engaged and it only took a few days to read. I think this is going to be a good book club option for several clubs. I plan recommending to my book friends and I look forward to reading more by this author.
I loved this book so much! I was not able to put it down. I will say that it took me a while to connect with the characters but it was definitely a good spicy, slow burn. If you like:
-Spice
-Romance
-Mystery/Lies/Secrets
you will love this one!
This was an interesting read for the most part. I loved the amount of spice in the story. This story is my first by the author and I look forward to reading more from her.
90 Days to Love had plenty of drama and some really spicy moments. The story follows Anyssa and Nazar, whose relationship starts off on shaky ground with a lot of secrets and misunderstandings. The spicy parts definitely made it more interesting than a typical rom-com. But sometimes, I didn’t totally believe they were in love. At times, it felt more like attraction rather than real chemistry. But overall, it was an easy and fun read with spice!
This book was amazing.
It was giving me freaky Friiday vibes. The 2 female main characters are doppelgängers. Anyssa is a travel vlogger who is trying to fulfill her 30 before 30 check list. She happens to meet Camila her doppelgänger who can’t go on an all inclusive invite only resort that will benefit her business.. When she hears about Anyssa;s check list she makes her an offer she can’t refuse.
Anyssa pretends to be Camila and begins her vacation and she discovers all the shocking activities at the resort along with a sexy MMC.
This book had my mouth agaped and not wanting to put it down.
The plot and the spice was perfect.
10/10 recommend
Cassie Verano’s 90 Days to Love is a blend of passion, deception, and redemption. Following Anyssa and Nazar as they navigate a romance built on false pretenses, the story delivers a perfect mix of spice and intrigue. The characters’ growth throughout the journey is both compelling and heartfelt, and just when you think it’s only a love story, a big twist turns everything upside-down. I really enjoyed this book! Thank you NetGalley and Black Odyssey Media for the Advanced Readers Copy!
The cover of this book is incongruous from the expected content inside. I expected a cute little rom-com. What I got was the Disneyland version of 50 Shades of Grey. I mean, as far as spice and kink goes... It was fine, but I'd be hard-pressed to say that I bought that either of these characters were in love. 2.5 stars.
This book did not live up to its beautiful cover, unfortunately. I didn’t connect with the characters, the twists, or the way the conflicts were resolved. The spicy scenes couldn’t salvage the story for me.

This book was great if you like more spice than plot! It's super steamy with a touch of mystery wrapped into it. I really enjoyed the side stories and the secrets that each had but it was also a bit frustrating how slow it was. I feel like the characters could have used a bit more emotional chemistry rather than the physical chemistry. The writing style was wonderful and overall an enjoyable slow paced book.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this book!!
I LOVED this book! It was a bit slow in the beginning but then boom I was hooked!! I finished it in one sitting! My first by this author but will not be my last!!
This one was quite an interesting reading experience. I was initially drawn in by the synopsis and the cover. The first few pages had me buzzing—it was the perfect mix of spice and plot I’d been searching for.
But then… things slowed down. While I admired the expertly written steamy scenes (10/10 for that), I found myself wishing for more character depth and a stronger storyline to balance it out.
I did realize a little bit later though that this is probably not a book you read for the plot😅. So if you’re here for the spice then this is definitely worth a shot.
I was in it for the spice! There was a good amount. I didn't love the characters, but it wasn't a poorly written book either. Just not a favorite of mine. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. The cover is gorgeous!
90 Days to Love is a steamy romance with a twist of mystery, following Nazar and Anyssa. While the chemistry between them is undeniable, the pacing can feel a little slow. There are a lot of side stories and secrets that keep the romance from moving forward as fast as you'd expect, which might be frustrating for some readers.
The spicy scenes definitely deliver, but at times, it feels like the book focuses more on heat than emotional development. The slow reveals of their secrets add intrigue, but they also hold the relationship back from fully blossoming. If you like a slow burn with plenty of tension and steam, you’ll probably enjoy this, but don’t expect it to be a super fast-paced love story.
This gives The Princess Switch vibes! If you enjoyed that movie, you'll gobble this book up.
I enjoyed the characters and the setting, plus the cover is gorgeous. I always wanted to travel so reading about a travel vlogger with a bucket list was a lot of fun. I really liked Anyssa's character too. She's relatable and grounded but still entertaining to read about. The romance was sweet and I really liked Anyssa & Nazar's connection. They had great chemistry and swoony worthy moments.
If you like romances with secret/hidden identities or The Princess Switch, give this a try!
