This is a super cute ending to the Tea quartet. I loved getting a view into our characters after their "happily ever after" and seeing how they struggle with their destiny and how to deal with some of the ideas they worked on in the previous books. Once again, this is a perfect cozy read, with just enough stakes to keep it interesting but the great characters, humor, and romance to keep it cozy!

Reyna and Kianthe have no trouble ruling the Queendom, battling evil alchemists, and rescuing adorable baby dragons, but can they save their town from the influx of.... tourists?!?
On the night of her kidnapping, all Reyna wanted was a relaxing cup of tea. She didn’t expect to be dropped in a hidden cell, but what the hells. She’s flexible. When Kianthe “rescues” her wife, she expects they’ll be back at New Leaf having tea by noon. But there’s a problem: an alchemy circle marred Reyna’s cell. What does a radical group of alchemists want with the Queendom’s newest sovereign and why did they think they could get away with this?
To make matters worse, Kianthe and Reyna’s hometown is having its own problems. Word of New Leaf Tomes and Tea―and its celebrity owners―has finally spread, and tourists are flooding into Tawney. As their friends struggle with the sudden influx, Kianthe and Reyna have to face a bigger conundrum than rogue alchemists: the fact that closing their bookshop might be the only way to save their town.
Things can’t just be simple, can they?
I think I've found a new author. Thorne keeps the story flowing and found an interesting way to tie things up at the end. This has just the right amount of peril. The epilogue hints that there could be more coming, especially with a side character missing, so is this really the end? Maybe for a while, but we will see.
Recommended.

The final installment of the Tomes & Tea series, this is another cozy story. It was a great ending for the series. I would recommend this series.

I loved this series so much and as much as I am sad that it is over I am so happy with how the series ended. I loved watching Kianthe and Reyna grow and discover who they were and what they wanted their lives to look like. I also loved learning about how the Alchemy in the world worked and details of that. I also loved the dragons and how Reyna built that relationship with them.
I can’t wait to see what is next by Rebecca Thorne cause she has quickly become and auto buy author for me

I love this series and I'm sad it's over, but this was a satisfying conclusion. I look forward to seeing what is next from Thorne

Just right! It's cozy and perfect and felt like a good ending to the series. As always I will be getting the beautiful sprayed edges copy for my shelf!

The final installment of the Tomes & Tea series, this is another sweet story. I never feel like this is a super-high stakes story, even when the realm is at risk - it’s just cozy and nice. So it was good to spend some time with Reyna and Kianthe as they attempt to balance their responsibilities and their bookshop. It’s not remarkable, but it is pleasant. Plus I read the whole series, which says something!

This was the most perfect ending for this already perfect quartet. I have been reading and following Rebecca Thorne since this quartet was indie published and I'm just so excited to see her working with Macmillan and finding such success. I love Reyna and Kianthe and their friends so much and I can't wait to read the other quartets she has planned in this wonderful world. Throne's stories beat with a beautiful and tender heart that speak directly to mine and they will continue to keep me coming back for more.

Alchemy and a Cup of Tea, a well written book. I was looking forward to it as I had enjoyed the other ones, but this one didn't ring true for me on the lightheartedness that the others had going for them. I do think others will enjoy this book and thank you for giving me a chance with this one.

The only thing I did not like about this book was that it had to end! This series has become a favorite of mine, and I was saddened to part ways with Rain and Key and the baby dragons and the griffons!! Looking forward to what Rebecca Thorne writes next!

First, Thank you NetGalley and Tor Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this ARC of Alchemy and a Cup of Tea.
I am SO sad to be done with a series that has easily become one of my favorites but a lesson I learned from Winnie the Pooh, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”. I stumbled upon the Tomes and Tea series by accident last year and have completely fell in love with it. I was given the opportunity via NetGalley to advance read both the third book, Tea You at the Altar and this book, Alchemy and a Cup of Tea.
This series follows Reyna, an ex-queensguard turned Tea seller, and Kianthe, The Arcandor and Mage of Ages, as they leave their provincial lives to open a tea and bookshop in a little village ravaged by Dragons called Tawney. These books are so cozy and I love having the opportunity to share them with my friends.
Something I will say is that Rebecca Thorne really keeps you on the edge of your seat with these books even the last. It’s 11:30 pm on a work night, I’m 75% of the way through the book, and we are tying loose ends just to fray some others. I look forward to reading into some other works of hers.

A wonderful ending to wrap up Reyan and Kianthe's story, although there's still plenty of stories left in this world I'm sure. The bonus short story was also fun, getting to see this world from a side character's POV. If you like Legends & Lattes or other cozy fantasy series, the Tomes & Tea series will be right up your alley.

To end a series well is sometimes difficult to accomplish. However Alchemy and a Cup of Tea is a flawless finish to our adorable couple and their escapades. This was the most 'on the edge of my seat' story of them all and I appreciated it with all that the girls and Tawney have gone through. It was face paced and didn't dally on a single thread too long. Yet the pacing still felt smooth. I'm so happy to have such a happy ending, and even more pleased to have gone through this journey with them.

The vibe feels a bit different from the first three books, but in a good way. I felt like the pace was a bit faster, the writing a bit more polished, and I'm looking forward to Thorne's future projects.
Thank you to Tor and NetGalley for the ARC.
