365 HAPPY BEDTIME MANTRAS by Shannon Kaiser is intended to help readers "Improve Your Sleep, Release Stress, and Enjoy Your Dreams."As promised, there are 365 entries, and, per the author, each one "includes a main mantra message, a description that expands on the mantra's teachings, a mini meditation that activates the intention behind the mantra, and a mindfulness evening ritual to cultivate a calm state and balance the body, mind, and spirit." She suggests incorporating them into a routine an hour or two before bed, but I found the expectations (numerous steps, journaling, etc.) to be too much to contemplate and digest at that time of day. Here, for example, is a mantra designed to improve sleep and relaxation: "I deserve deep, restful sleep;" she expands on this by stating that "just like any skill at which you become proficient, you can train yourself to be a quality sleeper with practice and care." Her corresponding meditation is "each moment of rest is a new opportunity to relax deeper into the night and experience quality sleep" and the relaxation ritual for this mantra is to play laid back music with slow tempos. Kaiser also suggests purchases for building a sleep-wellness toolkit, including weighted blankets and a white noise machine. Kaiser appears to have a good reputation in the wellness field, but I think people struggling to build a solid sleep routine would need more individual guidance.

This was such a good read, I’m very excited to implement the mantras and the rejuvenation rituals into my every night life. The inspiring quotes on each page were very uplifting. All around amazing.

I love this book! I haven’t made it through the whole book since it would take a full year but I have made it through a little bit! It has been so nice to go through it every night and I definitely am seeing an impact on my mood! I love this book and will absolutely continue reading through it!

I enjoyed trying the Relaxation Rituals, they did help relax me. The rest of the content did not strike me as anything unique. I just didn't read anything that differentiated itself from other books.

I really enjoyed this book of manteas for sleep. There are 366 mantras wirh a description of how it aids sleep, the mantra itself, and an exercise to do with it before bed. I enjoyed reading each mantra and completing the activity and they did seem to help me calm down and get ready for sleep. I think this is a great book for someone trying to add some routine and ritual to their bedtime.

I never pass up the opportunity to read a book by Shannon Kaiser. I attended one of her retreats back in 2018 which was life-changing. I was excited to receive the ARC for her newest book, 365 Happy Bedtime Mantras. I absolutely loved this book! It’s such a thoughtful guide to improving sleep, packed with helpful tips on sleep, creating a bedtime routine, trying new rituals, and building a toolkit to wind down. I enjoyed the mantra section best; the power of a mantra is mind-blowing and it truly does help calm your mind. The layout is beautifully designed and easy on the eyes, making it a joy to use.

I look forward to purchasing the hard copy of the book when it releases, so I can have it at my bedside.

As a mental health therapist, I’m thrilled to incorporate 365 Bedtime Mantras by Kaiser into my practice (and I hear there’s a deck, too—definitely adding that to my list!). This book offers such a beautifully simple way to introduce ritual and intention into one’s nightly routine, which is a game-changer for anyone struggling with sleep. I’ve already completed three days of the activities and love how it’s supporting my own positive sleep hygiene. I’m excited to make it a permanent part of my evenings. Affirmations rock!

While this book is obviously intended to be used one mantra a day, every day for a year, for the sake of a timely review I couldn't do that. However, I did read the book and then picked through several mantras at random to add to my bedtime routine. I slept twelve hours last night compared to my usual 3-5 so I think it really helped!

I think the routines and mantras within have potential to be really helpful to people like me who struggle to have good bed time routines and get meaningful rest.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s such a thoughtful guide to improving sleep, blending helpful insights on rest, creating a bedtime toolkit, and establishing a calming routine. The section with mantras is especially wonderful—each one comes with a full-page devotional that feels so personal, including the mantra itself, a reflective message, a soothing quote, and a restful ritual to try that night. The layout is beautifully designed and easy on the eyes, making it a pleasure to use.
I was thrilled to find out it’s also being released as a deck! I’ll definitely be using the deck version, but the book is just as valuable, depending on your preference.
What I really appreciated is that it’s not tied to any specific religious belief, so it feels inclusive for anyone seeking better rest. If you’re looking for a gentle, effective way to improve your sleep, this resource is a winner!

365 happy bedtime mantras by Shannon Kaiser is an extremely informational and peaceful book. The mantras in here are well thought out and explained, the meditations easy to follow. Great for those in their self help era!

In this fast-paced world, we all need a little help getting a good night's sleep. This is the kind of book you put by your bedside table and make a point to read it a little every night. The messages are clear and easy to follow. Hopefully it can sink in and put all of the negative anxious thoughts out of mind before sleep. I am recommending to those that are overwhelmed and need something simple to read at night. This is perfect for readers who are at a spot in life where they don't have time or energy for more than a chapter in the evening.

This book is fantastic whether you need help with sleep or not. For me, the book reminds me of a hype girl - someone who roots for you and gives great advice/suggestions. I gave it four stars because there are parts that are repetitive but it might not be as obvious once you space out the reading. Overall, a great book and I can't wait to see the companion deck!

If you are a person who takes time to relax at night, I recommend adding this title to your bedtime routine. For each day there is a mantra followed by a short message and a relaxation ritual. Each offers something to think about and to do. For example, one might light a candle or think about being one’s authentic self.

Some may feel that some of what is in these pages is not unique. That may be so but I have found that it is good to take these few minutes to settle.

Recommended for those who need some help to unwind.
