As someone who was obsessed with pop culture and celebrity culture growing up (and still am), I feel like Chelsea Lately raised me. You can always count on Chelsea Handler to make you laugh, but I love that she has gotten so introspective in recent years. Between her Chelsea Does series on Netflix and this book, I feel like she is dedicated to learning and growing as a human being, and owning up to any mistakes that she makes. In this book in particular, she is speaking hopes for herself into the universe, about who she wants to be and how that relates to when she was a kid and people would ask who she wanted to be when she grew up. That being said, I still enjoy tales of her debauchery, including running a "hard lemonade" stand when she was 10 years old, and meeting George W. Bush while high.

I love Chelsea Handler and was very excited to see this book coming out! This is a refreshingly candid and humorous collection of essays that showcase her evolution into the woman she aspired to be. With her signature wit and unfiltered honesty, she provides personal stories, like her unconventional childhood lemonade stand, to her experiences with therapy and self-discovery. Her ability to intertwine humor with heartfelt reflections makes this book not only entertaining but also deeply inspiring; It was full of laughs and very insightful!
Thank you Random House Publishing Group and The Dial Press for providing me this ARC of the book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I’m not really a Chelsea Handler fan, but the world is crap right now and I wanted to read something funny. This wasn’t it. I chuckled a few times, but for the most part it felt like she was bragging about how privileged she is. Having strangers drive her dogs across country because she missed them. Buying a house in Canada to use while are there for skiing. I tried, but she’s just not for me.

I have read every book that Chelsea has written, and this one is very different! She has had a lot of therapy in recent years and has changed for the better. So while this book was not as funny as others she has written, it was inspiring. It seems like she is a good person, even if she does toot her own horn a bit much.

Chelsea Handler’s I'll Have What She’s Having is basically like grabbing drinks with your funniest, most unfiltered friend—the one who always has the best (and most outrageous) stories. She’s as sharp and shameless as ever, and the way she tells a story just pulls you right in. I found myself laughing out loud more times than I can count, and honestly, it’s the kind of book that makes you feel like you’re in on the joke. If you love Chelsea’s no-BS, say-anything style, you’ll fly through this one and have a blast doing it.

Laugh out loud funny with a poignant side- this new Chelsea Handler book is a must read for her fans.

Obsessed with this book! I’m tempted to say that this might just be Chelsea’s best book! I could not stop laughing throughout the book. Chelsea brought depth, humor, and (surprisingly) compassion to her newest book that’s had me recommend it to friends!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance review copy in return for an honest review. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. This book kind of seemed all over the place and didn’t have any sort of clear path of where it was going. It wasn’t bad per se but I kind of wish the stories were more cohesive.

I love Chelsea Handler's books, they got a little boring for a while but this one has redeemed her. I love the personal essays and the comedy throughout the book. I really enjoyed the COVID-19 stories in this book because we can now finally look back and laugh about the chaos that was happening. Well done!

I have really enjoyed all of Chelsea Handler’s books that I’ve read so far and I loved this one.
I thought it was such a good blend of humor and the great life advice I have found she is so good at giving – not always directly, but usually simply via the stories she tells. Stories that are at times relatable and at other times so outrageous I figure they just have to be made up.
Sometimes the stories made me laugh and sometimes they made me tear up – but they always made me think, and usually think about how I can continue to strive to be the type of person I want to be, just like Chelsea mentioned about herself through the book.
If you’ve read her books before or you’ve thought her books wouldn’t be for you – I encourage you to pick this one up. It is worth a read!

I have read all of Ms. Handlers books and this was such a different book than what she normally writes. You could feel her change it was a breath of fresh air beautifully written and just so much heart put into it. When I opened this book I expected the sparky usual Chelsea because that has always been her but what I read was a far cry from that Chelsea the growth she has made is simply beautiful. As a person with their own mental health struggles and therapy seeker it for sure gave me hope that my own journey is not a waste that even if its slowly going I can find a passive outcome. Just wow so proud of her and her growth!!

I love Chelsea Handlers books and look forward to each new release. The latest has Ms. Handler's famous one=-lines and is laugh out funny. I read it in two sittings loved every page. In this book, the author seems to take a more philosophical stance and discusses friendship, loyalty, being true to oneself, the value of self-reflection and meditation. She credits therapy with her more centered, relaxed approach to life. Luckily for the reader, her zany antics remain (skiing naked downhill) and and she is always entertaining. Highly recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an advance reading copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review. I initially expected a book packed with comedy sketches, but was pleasantly surprised to find it to be more autobiographical in nature. This was my first Chelsea Handler book, and I truly enjoyed it. The writing was incredibly easy to follow, almost as if Chelsea were sitting with you on her balcony in Mallorca, casually sharing stories.

Chelsea Handler can do no wrong. She depicts the experience of women in 2025 so brilliantly. Bravo!!

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.
A must-read for Chelsea Handler fans.

I have been a fan of Chelsea Handler for a while and applaud her success. I think she was blessed with an ability to find the humor in every situation and is an incredibly entertaining and naturally funny woman. This most recent novel differed from her previous hilarious anecdotes. While there were some, most of the book focused on proving she was a good person and a great friend who doesn't hate children. I wasn't interested in walking through her therapy session learnings. I love her pro-women stance and support her in this, but I did not recommend this book.

This was my sixth book by Chelsea Handler! I think I missed the last one (now on my list) but otherwise I’ve hit every single one.
I’ll Have What She’s Having while funny & containing Chelsea’s normal spark was actually so heartfelt. It was full of her philosophies on life, self-help & therapy. She’s a self-actualized queen now ya’ll! My favorite stories in this book were about Chelsea going to the Bush compound & her stories about Poopsie, Oopsie & Whoopsie.
This was my first CH book where I tandem read & listened via audio and it made the experience so much more fun hearing her experiences from her own mouth. Any time you can listen to a book in the author’s POV I would recommend doing so.
Thank you to NetGalley & Random House Publishing Group for the ARC of I’ll Have What She’s Having in exchange for an honest review.

I have followed Chelsea's career for a number of years so I was very excited to read this and to explore her journey.

I love Chelsea Handler. She is this walking contradiction which I can relate to. She can be a dick, but shows us also that she is a good person when it comes to the important things in life. She loves her tribe of women, children and dogs. This book had me belly laughing as well as brought a few tears. I remember reading her first book, My Horizontal Life, in college many years ago. I feel like Chelsea and I have both grown up a lot since then.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Chelsea for an advanced release copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first Chelsea Handler book, so I have nothing to compare it to & didn't know what I was in for. I left it feeling like I had a new friend. The book is a series of stories about her life-- mostly focused on her personal life and relationships. The arch of the book is her focus on learning about becoming the person she hoped to become when she was young, and sometimes the reflection during those moments can feel a little heavy-handed, but I also think it would make the book accessible to someone who approaches it with more of an interest in self-help.. I'd recommend!
Thanks to NetGalley for an advance copy of this book.
