To start off, I love and adore Chelsea handler. I have loved and adored her since Chelsea lately. On the e network, a long time ago and I have followed her religiously. Ever since I read all our books watched other shows the whole enchilada. This book was the best one yet, and it was different. It was personal, it was warm, it was funny. It was a different Chelsea, but a really good Chelsea. I loved this book. I can't honestly say it enough. I hope everybody reads it. I hope everybody can learn something from it and take something from it. I don't highlight and bookmark in books very often but I did in this one I love Chelsea handler. Love love love

I still can’t believe I got my hands on an ARC. This was absolute perfection. If you’re a fan of Chelsea Handler, make sure you put this on your TBR. And even if you’re not, you will find so many take-aways from this book. This woman is my Queen 😍
My favorite words from within:
Additionally, my personal experience makes me extra sensitive to threes. I come from a family of threes. Three boys and three girls. My mom also came from a family of three girls. Her sister has three daughters, who also have three daughters between them. My two sisters have three daughters between them. There are many boys in all parts of our families, but it is the women who are the glue, who run the show, who are the matriarchs. Even though we are outnumbered overall by men, there has never been a patriarch, except for the women in our family. When I see three sisters together, I want to jump in and join them, and I want to remind them that it is up to them to keep the family together.
Thank you many times over to Random House Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me in early to this one. I’m so grateful!

“You're a woman, after all. You are one of the most powerful creatures on the planet. You'll get where you're going.”
I’ve been a Chelsea Handler since the very beginning. I have an older sister, so she had me read My Horizontal Life long before it was appropriate… and I loved it!
My sister and I bonded over Chelsea’s books (we’ve read them all) and loved to watch Chelsea Lately together. Fast forward to 2023, my sister and I got to see Chelsea’s live stand-up together (✔️bucket list).
I’ll Have What She’s Having is, of course, funny, Chelsea just has a way with words a storytelling that has you laughing out loud. But this book also highlights all of Chelsea’s personal growth; we see her as a partner, a parent figure, and a good friend.
If you’re a Chelsea Handler fan, you’ll love this.
5⭐️

A more serious take from Chelsea Handler than in her previous memoirs. I do not hate her for it. With this being her seventh book, it was probably time to diverge from her usual prose. I’ll Have What She’s Having delves into her traumas, relationships, therapy, mediation, and growth. To be clear: homegirl will still make you laugh! There is humor, as always, but perhaps a more distinguished version. You get to see a different side of her, which we may not have known we even wanted. I am grateful for it. Have no fear, the regular Handler Shenanigans proceeds. Dogs on crystal meth, sexts from a disgraced governor, and edibles at Kennebunkport + more! Thank you to Random House and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for my honest review. Review to be posted to Goodreads on 1/7

I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher.
I adore this book.
I’ve taken a hiatus from Chelsea’s last book or two and couldn’t be happier to hear her voice through her storytelling again. This book has a different tone compared to her previous writing and, interestingly, comes with a clear message of encouragement for readers. I laughed, I reflected on my actions, and I left feeling inspired.
My only regret in reading the early access copy is that I didn’t get to hear Chelsea narrate her stories in the audio version.
A beautiful book that shot straight to the top of my book recommendation list!

Thank you NetGalley and Dial Press for the ARC; being published on Feb 25th 2025.
My review is coming from a place of minimal Chelsea Handler knowledge; I haven’t read any of her other books, I haven’t listened to her podcast (although I definitely am after reading this) and I’ve only seen a few episodes of her Netflix show.
With all the being said, this book was beautifully written and a nice blend of comedy, memoir, and self-improvement. The essay style of writing was easy-to-follow as well.
This book is definitely better suited to readers who are already a fan of Handler, I think anyone who picks this up will come away with a few laughs and insights.

Chelsea Handler is hilarious. I've read a few of her other books and I loved them, so I was super excited for this one too. I also saw her live last year and it was an absolute hoot. This book was so much fun. I laughed a lot but I also learned so much more about her as a person.

This was everything I would expect from Chelsea Handler and more! It was laugh out loud entertaining yet thought provoking and insightful.

What a ride this book was! Loved the honestly and realness shared from page one. It was so beautifully written and laughed a lot reading it.

I used to what Handler's show when I was younger and I've loved her ever since. Just like her previous book, Handler gives us her humor in I'll Have What She's Having. But this time there was also a lot of heartfelt moments. I love that she now has a book that combines the 2. I look forward to the next book she comes out with.

At first I did not like this book, it appeared danting, after the first chapter I could not put it down and was so happy I finished it. Well written and captivating. Im more of a thriller reader but have read other books by Chelsea in the past so I gave it a try and so glad that I did.

I have read all of Chelsea’s books! I absolutely loved her when she had Chelsea Lately. She was loud, over the top, and I couldn’t get enough. Her books were always something else
“I’ll Have What She’s Having” though, it’s different. Yes you will laugh and yes she still has absurd stories, but this book is more about finding her true self and loving herself. I loved reading about the changes she has and is going through. Her revelations and also seeing some revelations of my own (by no means is this a self help book lol) but it kind of was for a minute.
There were some parts that I wanted to skim through but overall loved seeing her growth written out. She’s an interesting woman and always curious to see what she’s up to
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing for the advanced copy to read!

Thanks to NetGalley and Dial Press for my ARC in exchange for my honest review. This book will be published February 25, 2025.
I was expecting a book of comedy skits but this s much more autobiographical. While there are some funny and truly outrageous events, it’s actually more of a self-help book. Chelsea has a strong desire to learn about herself via therapy, meditation and helping others. And doing drugs.
Things I learned about her:
1. She has a mind for business. At age 10, her “lemonade” stand served hard lemonade. She made enough money to upgrade herself to first class while her family flew coach.
2. She does a lot of drugs. LSD seems to be a favorite
3. She has multiple homes, including Whistler and Mallorca
4. She loves to ski
5. She loves dogs
6. She is a firm believer in family and manners and treating people nicely
She is definitely unconventional yet she has a heart of gold. I’m a fan.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into it, but I’m glad I read this book. It’s a memoir w/ entertaining quips & short essays that embody themes of giving, acceptance, & healing.
I didn’t know much about Chelsea prior to reading. After taking it all in, it’s easy to say she is a complex character with many layers. There’s definitely more than what meets the eye.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!

I have read other books by this author and found them funny, if not hilarious. With these expectations, I found this book just okay, which was a bit of a disappointment
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was okay it was very unorganized and had no direction. It was trying to hard to be a self help book, it’s not funny, and it felt forced like this was all leftover stories from other books. The time jumps are confusing, no order to this book.

Chelsea Handler’s witty antics have been a road trip staple for me since my early twenties. While this book didn’t quite hit the same mark as some of her earlier works, I suspect it’s because I’ve grown to prefer experiencing her stories through her unmistakable voice in audiobook form.
That said, it’s been exciting to witness her evolution as an author and individual. This book stands out as one of her most introspective yet, showcasing a level of self-reflection that sets it apart from her previous works.
In many ways, it feels like Chelsea’s own take on Aesop’s Fables—packed with humor but deeply rooted in personal growth and hard-earned wisdom. Striking the delicate balance between laugh-out-loud comedy and heartfelt introspection is no easy feat, yet Handler pulls it off with her signature charm.
While I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, I’m eagerly anticipating the audiobook—because hearing her narrate her own journey is always next-level entertaining.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an eARC of this title in exchange for a free and honest review. It’s been an honor and a privilege to read this book!

I adore Chelsea Handler, but I felt this book was a little boring. I felt that there was a lot of small stories put together as the plot, rather than one overarching story. The beginning is just that, but I felt that way throughout the book. Maybe I had too high of expectations, but this one just wasn’t for me.

This wasn’t nearly as raunchy as Chelsea’s past books and as a result I felt like I related to her in ways I have not while reading her other books. It is not as laugh out loud funny as her earlier books but that’s honestly profound because it shows how she’s grown over 20 years.

I have been reading Chelsea’s books for 20 years or so now and this book was the one I related to the most as a fellow child free woman. I really enjoyed her stories about the kids in her life that she has bonded with and how not wanting to be a mother doesn’t mean you hate kids or don’t have that caretaking instinct.
