Not sure how I feel about this. Is a satire on office culture (if so just watch Office Space)? Is it something psychological? Maybe this just just a critique into bullying or mental illness. I enjoyed the surreal nature of this book but in the end, I would much prefer reading Kafk

This was a fun, quirky, utterly Swedish book. I read this several months ago but still recall it occasionally, which I think is a good sign - it stuck with me! I found the main character - who clearly had a touch of Asperger's - not entirely likable, but neither unlikeable. The story was unique and offbeat, and I think I'd recommend it to someone who was looking for something completely different than the usual fare out there. 3.5/5
