When PI and former NYPD Det Dan Burnett is asked to look into to the brutal beating of a young
black man by 2 white NYPD cops, he is conflicted on whether to go against the infamous "bluewall".
Until he begins to really understand exactly wht went on the night the victim was stopped for a supposed minor traffic infraction.
The story takes off like a rocket with non stop action and suspense.
The characters are very well defined and the story line, sadly, only too real in today's society.
Great read.
Next??
This was a strong entry in the Dan Burnett Thriller series, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the overall story going through this. The characters were everything that I was looking for and enjoyed getting to go through this story and am excited for more. Larry Terhaar wrote this well and was glad I got to read this.
This is my first book by this author. I didn't realize it was part of a series. I throughly enjoyed it, and will be going back to read the first book about Dan Burnett. This book was more of a mystery instead of a thriller, but it was still a really good and easy read. I hope the author continues the series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book
