Good read for sure. I give it 4 stars. First off beautiful cover art!
I loved the dynamics in the family and all the relationships.
Was a good story from start to finish.
Can't wait to read the next in the series

I great book for teens to read that not only does it cover relationships, it also covers family relationships. There was definitely some realness in all relationships and moments in them.

I'm sorry but the book did not really work for me. I DNF'ed it. I wasn’t able to connect with any of the many characters in the book and I found myself putting down the book a lot because it was never really catching my attention.

I started reading Contessa by author Lori L. Otto and honestly, I wasn't sure what my thoughts were going to be at first. I wanted to really love this book, sadly that didn't happen. The writing didn't really come together for me and the plot wasn't anything really new.

This book was nearly a DNF for me, I made it through but the characters lacked a certain depth and the story didn’t hold my attention.
