I loved this, possibly cause I love football- down to the mascot logo tattoo of my favorite team so this was fun- Dani does stats for the Tampa Bay football team (a family affair hef dad is GM, her not uncle but uncle is the coach and her bestie is the owners daughter) she's hella good at her job and she sees something in a ungrateful Austin- he's got the numbers and using her own stat formula she thinks she has a winner so she gets him to sign with the team- what starts out slow moves into something more - throw in some great female friends, a little bit of a consolidated family dynamic, some fun co worker banter- oh and the fact that Austin was supposed to just be a bench warmer a back up to the back up of thr franchise quarterback who ends up leading the team all while dealing with his own feeling about his performance- this was so good--- could we see a Claire book next -- she's perfect for....read it to see if you agree with me

Five Stars for Dani and Austin! I loved this book! I didn't know I needed a slow-burn football-themed romance until I read it.
Austin Taylor is an undrafted free agent in the NFL until Dani Marshall, the Bucs’ data analyst whiz, convinces him to sign as the third-string quarterback. She knows he has the potential to be great, on... and possibly off the field. When it comes time for Austin to prove his worth, starting for the Bucs', Dani is there to encourage him. They quickly form a friendship over their love of football, but can Dani keep it at just that?
Now, if you think this book isn't for you because you're not much of a football fan, I'm also not a football fan and know almost zero about the game. However, what drew me into this story was the plot, and it did not disappoint! The descriptions of football games, ideas, and tactics were interesting and informative and helped me learn more about the game while being drawn into the story of Dani and Austin.
This story is lighthearted, fun, and uplifting. Tiffany Noelle Chacon does a fantastic job describing the environment around her characters. From what they were eating to the music playing in the background, I enjoyed the immersive descriptions that brought you into each scene. I liked that it was a very clean romance with only kissing scenes, and the kissing scenes themselves are written very tastefully. Christians and non-believers alike can enjoy this book! I'd recommend this rom-com for anyone who loves a happy ending for a couple that is destined to be together!
*Thank you to Tiffany Noelle Chacon and NetGalley for a free ebook copy of this book for a review!*

This book had too much emphasis on sports for me. I’m sure others will enjoy it more than I did.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

First of all, many thanks to Netgalley for the ARC granted to me. This was my first time reading something from the author and I was pleased to follow up such compelling and quick narrative. The book flew by with some great easyness that had me finishing it ina couple of hours. The romance sports were the trope I have read much this year and I liked a lot the story in here.

I love a good sports romance. I really enjoyed that Tiffany took time to explain football in this book. Some people who read may not have an understanding of the actual sport played so I felt like that was a nice touch. Overall, a fun quick sports romance. I do want to read Tiffany’s equestrian series now as I have been riding for 25 years.

3.5 stars. Such a cute sports romance! I enjoyed the stats/facts at the beginning of each chapter. It was a fun and quick read!

This was so good, i was swoop in from the start.
I've read this book in one day, this was a very fast paced good.
I will definitely buy and read more of this author, very good discovery and well written!

I really enjoyed this sweet little football romance. I'm a huge fantasy football fan so I loved seeing Austin's progression throughout the story and the football references. It's also a very quick read with quick chapters and pacing. I read it in only a few hours. Super adorable male character (especially imagining his smile during the press conference) . I also love that it deals with a huge woman issue in the working field and I can feel the anger that comes up for Dani. Maybe more could have been done but I think the author handled it well enough. I'm not sure but I liked Dani. It also lacked a little connection although the chemistry was there. It was a fun read.

This was such a sweet romance with an amazing cast of characters. The chapters were nice and short, the writing a breeze to follow through, making it a rather quick read.
Tiffany is a master of balancing football action with the romance in a way that neither of the two feels neglected.
Austin is such a sunshine of a human, a golden retriever through and through. He was so pure in his pursuit of Dani, never stepping out of line, giving her the space she needed, whenever she needed. I liked that about his character—the fact that he was a decent guy and a gentleman. His character arc of finally learning to believe in his abilities as a QB was very well done and definitely one of my favorite parts of the book.
Talking about our female lead, Dani, she was a solid character, just not my personal favorite. She's super intelligent but lacks the courage to stand up for herself, always choosing to run instead of confronting the problems life throws her way. This didn't necessarily change by the end of the story, and that was a bit disappointing, really.
The romance was sweet and slow-paced, a reverse grumpy × sunshine which I'm always in the mood for. I'll be looking out for more works from Tiffany in the future.
*A huge thank you to Write Horse Publishing, the author, and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

You had me at closed door football romance.
Austin Taylor, once an undrafted free agent and a third-string quarterback, was never supposed to be the starting QB for the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Except now, he is.
Dani Marshall, the Bucs’ data analyst whiz, is all in—betting her career, and even her car, on Austin's success. The real challenge? Keeping her heart out of the game.
As a huge football fan this is one of my fav romcoms based on the sport and I’ll tell you why. Austin plays for a real team, plays against real teams and there’s tons of real players mentioned: which is just soooo cool. It makes the story more realistic and gives you the sense that this could really be happening in a stadium somewhere while I’m watching the game from my couch. I loved everything about this book from the short chapters, quick wit/banter and of course all of the behind the scene football fun.
I also really enjoyed how the author gave a nod to her other series based on the sport of equestrian!
While I give this five stars and highly recommend, I do wonder if a non football fan would love this as much as it heavily relies on football terminology and plays (even though they are all explained well)

This was a strong start to the Sports in the Sunshine State RomComs series, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed about this type of book. It had that sports element that I was looking for and thought the characters belonged in this world. It had that romantic comedy element that I was looking for and was glad I read this. Tiffany Noelle Chacon has a strong writing style and am excited for more.

Off The Bench is a sweet football rom com. This book grabs your attention instantly and doesn't let go.
Dani and Austin give those perfect grumpy/sunshine vibes that we love so much. Their banter and friendship develop so naturally. In addition to our mcs the side characters here are amazing, I loved seeing his family and all their friends and co workers.
I love the statistics about football at the beginning of each chapter. The author balances making this a realistic sports story and the romance so well.
