Love Julie Ann Walker and her bikers!
Rough, tough and good lookin’!
You will fall in love with this series if you are one for bad boys.

This was a did not finish for me :( I'm sorry I just didn't not connect with the book.

I wanted to try Julie Ann Walker in 2014 so I requested Full Throttle on Netgalley. Of course, it's book 7 of a series and I should have thought of that before I requested it. Having said that, the romance and characterization were closed enough that I never felt lost or confused. Score!
I really liked this book. Steady (aka Carlos) was a great character and I appreciated his locker room talk. Yes, yes, I did say appreciate. He talked and thought like a man who lives on the edge and that is very appealing from a characterization standpoint. Abby was soft, but filled with good emotions. Soft emotionally, I mean. She took the weight of the world on her shoulders and lived accordingly. But when the chips were down, she held her own and did it well. She seriously impressed me.
Overall, I feel like this book was timely and well done. It showcased real world issues well. Walker did one thing that seriously impressed me when it comes to this type of plot. She gave her antagonist a real face, real emotions, and strong characterization. I simply love how he was not some stupid caricature of a terrorist.
Overall, a very good book and I will be reading more Julie Ann Walker in the future.
