Anxiety ridden Robin (ooh, alliteration). It's definitely a different take on the character. Robin's teammates are all excited about a TV show, The Masked Ninja Warrior Chef - a hilarious combination of one of the obstacle course reality tv shows and masked singer (sort of). And then, part of HIVE (bad guys) is suddenly just let go because she's a newly minted reality star from Masked Singer Chef Warrior whomever. And, it sorta breaks Robin's brain a little. He declares that the Teen Titans are going to be famous, and goes about trying on a bunch of different sort of reality shows with hilarious results (and everyone else being more famous than he is).

My favorite part was the pros and cons of all the different sorts of tv shows. That list was so on point. It was definitely an interesting (from a kids point of view) take on reality TV for sure.

I am a big fan of Amanda Deibert and this was no exception. It really feels like the Cartoon Network show nailing the style of comedy. I think my middle schoolers will love having this in our classroom library.

DC Comics provided an early galley for review.

I'm a fan of the Teen Titans Go! cartoon, so this looked to be a very fun read.

As expected, the story and art-styles are very in-sync with the tone of the cartoon. The six-part story is created to engage younger readers, encouraging them to strengthen their reading skills with familiar characters from the show. By the same token, just like the cartoon, there are layers to narrative that can be appreciated by the older readers (pre-teens and up). The satire of the reality television genre is so spot on.
