Bellarke are definitely the highlight of this book. I was searching for Octavia in this book, as she is such a strong, fleshed out character but I was disappointed that she was absent during the majority of the book. In my opinion, the TV show still outshines the books because the plot twists and turns feel less predictable and more frequently appear. I enjoyed the introduction of Kendall and his underlying story in the plot. Overall, a good sequel but nothing mind blowing- much like its predecessor.
If you love the tv show you'll love this more! The story gives a lot more insight to what our already loved characters backgrounds are.
Since receiving this book, my interests have changed therefore I will not be reading or reviewing this title. Thank you.
The book is told from multiple POVs: Clarke, Wells, Bellamy, and Glass. It is still a good read, but it's "weak" - I actually agree with quite a few reviewers who say that the show is better. I do like when the book jumps to flashbacks and Clarke is way more likeable in the books.
