I cannot wait to utilize this journal. I used the one for 2024, it was a great way for me to organize my thought for all the books I had read. The page entries were laid out for easy use, the only thing that I would maybe add is a spot to document the publisher of the books. I really enjoyed using the stickers, it made it so much more fun. I am very thankful that you released a new one for 2025, I will be using it heavily that's for sure. I use it with Goodnotes 6, which make is easy for me to use with my iPad and Apple Pencil (for handwritten entries) or I can use it with my laptop. And since there is a Goodnotes App I can use on my phone, that is a great way to jot down quick notes on the go. All in all, I love this journal!

I love this! It's so cool that you guys designed a reding journal specifically for NetGalley books. It's so easy to lose track of requested books so this will help a lot!

Having already used (& loved) the original NetGalley Reading Journal throughout 2024, I am SO excited to start 2025 with this new color option! I am definitely more of a bright color girlie than a neutral color girlie & I am already in-love with this new version. This reading journal is a perfect addition to my already regular digital reading journal & it truly helps me keep track of my ARCs in fun, active way. I like that it can be customized - removing or adding in pages as-needed. I also love all the stickers that are available to download via NetGalley, especially the new 2025 bundle. This year I plan to utilize the extra challenges that are included in the end “Activities” section as I didn’t use those last year. Wishing everyone a lovely 2025 full of all the books we love to read!

I like the inspiration for me to make my own journal. I appreciate the effort though, thank you very much.
One idea: please add lines, or some kind of writing guide, bc otherwise it forces me to add something to every page and that gets old very quick.

At first sight, this looks quite complex and time consuming. I spent a little while flicking through and deciding whether to use all elements, or select those that appealed. I plumped for the latter and now I’ve started to use it, I find it’s an effective way to maintain an easy to follow record of all books reviewed, when etc. I’m not bothered about setting target, but for those who want to increase their reading challenges, this provides all the tools. A brilliant resource.

I've always wanted to try journaling but I couldn't find a journal that has everything I wanted I hope this one delivers Thank you Netgalley for providing a free copy 💕

This is a great recourse for tracking books and book goals. It blends all reading modes into one, has spaces for monthly and yearly reading goals, and even gives a couple sheets for book reviews with jumping off questions.

There are also a few challenges in the back as well. This is a great resource if you like “hand” tracking your reading goals or don’t feel brave enough to make an online tracker yourself with one note or notion.

This is a great base for my 2025 reading journey. I appreciate that Netgally thought of all the things I would want to track.

I just downloaded and decided to print to use in 2025! This is perfect and will be amazing to organise my netgalley readings!

So far, I've just set up my journal in preparation for 2025 and everything has been pretty straightforward and easy to do. The questions that I have had were answered in the accompanying user guide. I look forward to using this guide to track my NetGalley reviews.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a new resource for making and utilizing a reading journal and a general guide with tips to getting started with electronic journaling as well as a toolkit with tips for being an effective book advocate.

The folks at We Are Bookish have put together a journal, customizable pages, stickers, and more. This guide contains instructions for getting the most out of the journal and resources.

Graphically, it coordinates with the other items for e-journaling from We Are Bookish, and is a fun energetic "sunset" palette of oranges to purples.

It is fairly simple, but readers should be comfortable with basic computer tasks, downloading apps, setting them up, importing files, and copying/customizing pages.

Additionally, depending on how much time readers wish to spend on journaling, it could come at a cost of valuable reading time (finding covers, copying them, tracking reading time, filling in charts, etc). All in all, however, it's a great resource for -using- the journal and getting the most out of figuring out how to set the journal up and how to use it for maximum effect.
