I really loved this book. Unfortunately, the format of it wasn't perfect for me. The copy I read was an eARC from the publisher, so it was not a finished copy. I am sure the finished copy does not have the formatting issues and ordered a physical copy for myself, which will hopefully be coming in soon! (Books being shipped to one makes it feel like Christmas!)

Yes, this book was so good, it deserves 1) a re-read and 2) to take up precious shelf space on my bookshelves. I really enjoyed reading it and it made me think, a lot. I took notes and I can't wait to sink my teeth into the finished copy. It's a daily devotional, so it's a year commitment, but well worth it.

I think what I enjoyed most was that it the themes were grouped in a way that both made sense and built on one another. They followed one another logically, and while some parts were repeated, it made sense in the grouping and with the understanding that it was a daily read meant to really drive home the message that was being explained. From what I understand, in order to really learn something, it needs to be repeated in upwards of three to seven different times (and ways, so this only hits the repetition, not the multiple ways aspect of learning).

I am looking forward to my physical copy of this book coming in and can't wait for the new year to start so I can start reading this all over again. Despite the formatting issues in the advanced read, I am giving this 5 stars, as I am going to have my own copy of it and I am sure the formatting issues were resolved for the final copy. If not, I will adjust my rating as appropriate.

If you are looking for a good daily devotional, I highly recommend this one.

My thanks to NetGalley and Moody Publishers for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.
