From the beginning, it gave me a "reading a friend's journal " vibe, which I greatly enjoyed. It was not the failed home improvement book I envisioned, but it kept me on my toes. You'll never get what shenanigans the next chapter will bring, but you know laughter will most likely be involved.

I really enjoyed this funny romp through DIY home investment/improvement. Flavia's sense of humor and writing skills carry the book. Sprinkled in with the funny stories is a lot of wisdom for new or wannabe home owners/investors. Fun read. I hope she has more books to come. Thanks to Net Galley and author for the opportunity to read and review.

This book was okay. It was a bit juvenile, it wasnt written too well in my opinion. I think the story was just lacking in lots of areas.
