I really enjoyed reading this book. I love how the author wove together historical fiction and sci-fi. I thought it was well done, and it made for an interesting story. I can't wait to read more from this author. I absolutely recommend this book.
Thank you Net Galley, eSpec Books, and Christine Norris

A clever, exciting, surprising story spanning time. The characters were unique, interesting, and each deserving of their own backstory. There were a number of times where a plot twist surprised me, which is very rare. The writing is smart and polished and feels appropriate for the time period(s) of the setting without feeling contrived or overdone. I found Sophie's experience particularly interesting, and would have loved to know even more behind her time in the house. Time travel.books can be hit or miss, and I very much found this to be a hit! I like that the door was left open for sequels, as I'd love to see each character receive their own unique story arc. I would love to recommend this book to my book club!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it had that scifi elmeent that I was looking for and enjoyed the overall story being told. The characters had that element that I was looking for and was engaged with what was going on. I enjoyed the scifi element and how the history element worked with this. Christine Norris has a strong writing style and am excited for more.
