Action, spies, Gilligan's and a wonderful HEA. Ms. Quinn throws you right into the action and has your heart raving. She brings the sadness and desperation of post Napoleon France to life.
Even with all the stress, drama, fear and uncertainty that Is in Madeleine's world she stays calm and level headed to help her family. Her resolute attitude gives you a glimpse into her strength of character.
Georges is a perfect hero for Madeleine. He is the perfect mix of strong, confident, protective and charming. He has held all women up to what he believed Madeleine had grown into. While his protective measures might be seen as manipulative, in the end he is proven right. He makes Madeleine feel cherished and like the world is not resting bon her shoulders.

Felt the plot was weak and the characters were one -dimensional. I really wonder how it pass an editor or anyone else at the publishers.
