I received this ARC through "NetGalley" and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review,

This story was not what I expected. It portrays two different views of the country with I believe is showing a definite slant to one. The way the story finished did not provide what I believe it should have, giving some sort of idea what happened in the story and how it will continue in future stories.

This was a strong start to the America Reborn thriller series, it had that element that I was looking for from the description. I was hooked from the first page and was hooked from the first page. Carlton James has a strong writing style and left me wanting to read more in this world.

An interesting story that makes you think about world politics. Very appropriate for today. Spoiler alert. I did not realize this was first in a series. At a critical plot line the book just stops.

The First Coronation by Carlton James was an intriguing yet realistic story that was utterly fascinating.
I enjoyed the writing, the characters are entertaining and the storytelling was intriguing.
This author’s writing style is wonderful, compelling and descriptive.
