A powerful collection that will stay with me for a long time. Topics include sexual assault, motherhood, coming of age in the midwest, and so much more. I really enjoyed the variety in the structure of the pieces--no two essays were alike in this collection. I look forward to reading more from the author!

Smart and reflective, THANK YOU FOR STAYING WITH ME is a well-written essay collection that is a must-read especially for female-identifying individuals. Moore manages to balance incisive prose with candid intimacy. Ultimately these pieces reveal insights about how to live a modern life. Highly recommended!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance e-galley; all opinions in my review are 100% my own.

I appreciate how vulnerable and honest the author was in her writing. I can't imagine how scary it would be putting the hardest parts of your life out there for all to read and judge.

Very engaging and interesting read. Very well developed and ambitious. Will be recommending to library collection and patrons.

This is a collection of essays I believe every woman should read. It explores themes of , and mother-daughter relationship, what it means to be a woman and the vulnerability that comes with it. It’s raw, tender, witty, and beautifully written. I really enjoyed her use of cosmetology as a metaphor to explore human experience. This collection of essays will leave you deep in thought and give you a new perspective of the world.

Bailey Gaylon Moore's Thank You For Staying With Me is a stunning collection of essays that balances raw vulnerability with razor-sharp prose. Moore has a gift for peeling back the layers of everyday experiences to reveal universal truths about love, loss, and resilience. Each essay feels like an intimate conversation, yet the themes she explores—grief, identity, and the complexities of connection—resonate deeply. Her voice is both tender and fierce, offering a reminder of the beauty in staying present, even when life is at its most challenging. This collection lingers long after the final page, and I can't wait to see the impact it has when it hits shelves.
