I like the cover of this book very much but had a difficult time connecting with the story. Score's writing is good, but I didn't care to get that invested in this title. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Quick Summary: An amnesiac romance
My Review: Forbidden Daddy's Arrangement: An Age Gap Office Romance by Scarlett Score is a romantic fiction novel.
About the Book: "I woke up next to my one night stand, only to discover months later that I was pregnant and heβs my exβs older brother."
When a one night stand blows up into a marriage of convenience, a lawyer and a businessman get more than they bargained for.
Tropes:
One Night Stand
Baby on Board
Close Proximity
Second Chance
Sibling Rivalry
Lost Memories
Workplace Encounters
Alphahole
My Final Say: This was a very challenging read for me. Unfortunately, I did not love it. Much like another book I've read by this author, I found it to be a mixed bag. It was interesting but odd. Some things that were presented seemingly defied logic.
There were elements to the story that certainly made me take notice, however, the delivery was not clean or perhaps precise enough to make it land properly. After a while, the timeline holes, the repetitive phrases, the formulaic romantic encounters, the leads behavioral inconsistencies, and the first person approach to storytelling just did not work for me.
Other: I do believe this book may appeal to some readers. I hope so, as I'm sure the author worked very hard on this story. Her bio requests patience during her learning process; I support this and wish her all the best.
