This book contains a balanced approach to eating that can benefit anyone. It isn't drastic, it doesn't cut out any food groups, instead it gets you focused on foods and lifestyle choices that are life-giving. The DASH DIET encourages focusing on plants, whole grains, limited amounts of poultry, eggs, and dairy, eliminating sugar, processed foods, and limiting salt and alcohol. Anyone can thrive with these foods!
The idea is that eating unhealthily ages us prematurely, increases our chances of having obesity, high blood pressure, cholesterol, cancer, and causes us to look and feel old before our time.
Eating a plant-focused diet will help us stay youthful and vibrant into old age.
Highly recommended reading for anyone!
