Four people are embarking on journeys. Kara is headed to Hawaii for her destination wedding. Best friend, Ollie, is a popular TV star headed out to support Kara, when his wife is caught in a compromising position setting off the tabloids. Alice is flying out to start her new life after a horrendous marriage. Zac is flying home after having to say goodbye to a much loved Aunt. Their lives unexpectedly come together.

This is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Quick light read. Characters are likable, some situations are far fetched but make for a fun story. Well written, story comes together in the end. This book would be a nice diversion between more serious books or for someone who prefers lighter reads.

Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for an ARC of this book. This is my honest opinion.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from Shari Low. It was beautifully written with a lot of twists, turns and surprises. Great characters with tantalising story lines. A story of love, friendship and support. Once I started I couldn't put it down. A truly wonderful read.

One Day and Forever follows the format of many of Shari Low's previous novels that works really well allowing you to pick up and put down when time allows, or like me devour the book in one sitting. A 24 hour period is broken up into 2 hour segments telling the story of 3 characters who are all unknowingly linked. A great selection of characters, including some from previous stories, that explore situations that every one of us can identify, both humourous and sad. I've loved all Shari's books but especially enjoyed this one. I look forward to the next one.

Kara McIntyre thought her life was on track after eight years with her boyfriend-turned-fiancé. But when a disastrous Hogmanay event upended everything, she found herself with no job, no fiancé, no home, and no wedding plans. Meanwhile, her lifelong best friend, Ollie Chiles, faced his own crisis when his wife, actress Sienna Montgomery, was caught in a viral video with a co-star. Ollie had to decide whether to join Kara in Hawaii or head to LA to confront Sienna.

Alice found the strength to leave her abusive husband and now after six months of healing is excited to move to London and start fresh with her son and his girlfriend. But an encounter with Zac Conlan, the son of Alice’s former best friend, stirred up long-buried questions and uncertainties from her past.

As the lives of Kara, Ollie, Alice, and Zac intersect in unexpected ways, their journeys of self-discovery and healing take center stage. This story is filled with amazing characters that each bring something unique to the story. I enjoyed it so much! I don’t know why I hadn’t read anything from Shari Low before now.

While every one of the books in this "One" series can be read as a standalone, it is definitely enjoyable to have read them all as characters from the other books appear in each of the stories. This was no exception. There are some new characters of course m but there's also some friendly faces like Alice and Val. and mentions of Morag The four different POVS from the various times of the day really help to give you a complete overview from every angle and the changing of lives that can happen in an instant is evident from every one of those POVs. Shari has a knack for creating characters with depth and humor who face their challenges in realistic ways while still all being connected to each other
This was well written, moving and entertaining I cant wait for the next one ‹

Another enchanting read from Low.
One day divided amongst different time slots and a few different characters.
I followed Kara’s and Zac’s parts the closest.
I liked their synergy and how each looked for each other in airports all the time.
Low always provided a good story.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Kara, Ollie, Alice and Zac - four people, one day, so many connections :)

Kara finds herself unemployed, homeless and without a fiance all of a sudden and it is all a bit much. Luckily for her, Ollie has been a life-long friend and has her back. But he has his own issues to deal with and when his wife is found in a compromising situation, what does he do?

Alice has finally left her abusive marriage and for the first time in years has to negotiate her life on her own. She attends a funeral of the sister of an old friend and whilst there, she runs into Zac. There is a secret regarding Zac's mum and he really needs to know what happened to the friendship between the two women and why it ended.

I love the way the stories of these four people are woven together. They connect in unexpected ways at times and that is the beauty of the story, for me. All very likeable characters and I was cheering them all on.

5 stars from me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books.

I loved the premise of this book - the way a single day can change your life. In this story we get to see how four people’s lives are upended and what the aftermath is for all of them. This story, like all of Shari’s books is character driven and kind of feels like a warm hug. I definitely recommend.

These books of Shari Low’s which take place over the course of 24 hours are my favourite of hers. I absolutely loved this one. We meet a new set of characters but there are references to some we have met previously. I always enjoy it when the previous characters pop up again.

Every action of the main characters is shown at different stages of the day. As always I’m wiling these characters to make the best decisions and I know that I always say it but these books always affect me. I find myself crying one minute then laughing the next. I also felt a very strong dislike for one of the characters too.

If you are new to the author I highly recommend her books. This one is a perfect one to start with. I’m already eagerly awaiting her next book.

Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources for having me on the tour and to the publisher for my gifted ebook.

Kara, until she quit, was a costume designer at a TV studio, she was going to marry her fiancé Josh. Everything was according to plan, now she had to move out of the apartment they shared. New year is starting on the wrong foot.
Ollie, Kara’s best friend, has a family conflict so he needs to get his priorities straight.
Each character has a unique story and we discover their fate in the course of one day.
I love the story, always a warm tale with relatable characters.

I enjoyed this story, which can best be summed up as having heartwarming serendipity and memorable characters. Kara's life has imploded. She's lost her man, her home, and her job, but as their wedding was going to be a joint celebration with her sister, she still had to travel to Hawaii. The story plays out over different timelines following the fortunes of the characters, some of which are familiar to regular readers of this author. I like the fatalistic elements that define this story and the complex and engaging characters that make this a wonderful escapist and uplifting read.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

I always love Shari's books, her writing style, and her characters! They are the perfect combination of humor, emotion, a little suspense, & a little romance. There is always one character we love to hate, and a whole bunch that we just love! I really enjoy that some characters seem to reappear in other stories even though they can be read as standalones. The story is brilliantly written and woven together, oh so heartwarming, and my favorite so far of all of the Shari Low "❤️ne" books!

One Day and Forever is another charming read from Shari Low. I love how she cleverly entwines the stories of each of characters, meaning I was fully invested in each of their lives from the very beginning.
Every couple of hours of the day showing their lives, their loves, their losses and hopes all shown through the little glimpses of these stories.
Every relationship is shown through the glimpses of the day, and the impact of actions and words amplified in the timescales written.
Shari always has such great settings for her stories too - the use of the airport, the immediacy of travel pushing people together and also apart is cleverly used through the timeline.
A thoroughly entertaining read from Shari and definitely one to enjoy

We start with two friends who are jetting off for what was to be their double wedding in Hawaii which is now just a single wedding as Kara and her fiance have parted ways. In fact, he also took her job with him, so she has been hit with a triple whammy - being homeless too! But she still has her best friend since forever in Ollie who is just about to suffer his own blow when a video of his wife in a mid-air clinch with another man goes viral giving him a bit of a dilemma whether to support Kara or try sort his marriage out...
Meanwhile we also follow Alice who has her own issues as she is trying to escape a bad (understatement) and a public scandal.
And then there's Zac who is about to travel home to Dublin, but also about to discover his own shock...
Their worlds are about to collide in Glasgow Airport of all places...
We also, if you have read any of this author's previous books, catch up a bit with some old friends. But don't worry if you have never met them yet, it won't spoil things here...
I am swiftly starting to class this author as one to watch. I first "discovered" her when she teamed up with Ross King for the Hollywood Thriller Series, and have made some inroads into her back catalogue since. I just love the way she creates her characters and then puts them all through the ringer in situations that really could happen to anyone. Here we have a multitude of challenges to overcome and, although the desired outcomes are a wee bit predictable, I definitely ran the gauntlet of emotions in getting there. I laughed, I cringed, I wept, and I got rather angry on occasion. And, dare I admit it, a wee bit over involved. Well, I couldn't help it. she sucked me into the characters' worlds and held me captive, teasing me along the way. And I loved every second of it!
So much so that I am going to revisit her tbr and let her put me through it all again with a different cast!
My thanks go to the Publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Thank you NetGalley, Boldwood Books and Shari Low for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my 5th Shari Low book I’ve read and I enjoyed it. The fact that she follows several characters stories, weaves them together all with a 24hour timeframe is really impressive. It reminds me of Elin Hilderbrand but within a 24hr period.

I occasionally get frustrated with the multiple storylines because one storyline is ramping up and then it jumps to another…but it makes me keep reading so I can get back to whatever storyline I was into.

These books aren’t *cannot put down* for me but I still enjoy them and am impressed with the style and layered storytelling. Also, romantic relationships are part of the story but especially since it’s such a snapshot in time I consider it more Woman’s Fiction.

This book (as well as the other 4 I’ve read of hers) are based in the UK so some terms and phrases are not in my vocabulary but I can normally figure it out based on context.

I have read and enjoyed most of Shari's books, and this new story did not disappoint. Familiar faces keep you smiling as you read! The new characters were heart warming, funny, intriguing and well written. Another winning novel.

Kara Mcintyre - just days ago she put a misogynist in his place during Hogmany. What will her new year be like? She just wants to hide her head in the sand and enjoy the trip to Hawaii.

Ollie Chiles - is Kara's best friend. His life is imploding and he would also just like some time to hide his head in the sand and enjoy the trip to Hawaii.

Alice Brookes - was an abused wife in One Long Weekend. She has come a long way since then, but may still have to look into the past to move toward the future.

Zac Corlan - he is a handsome young lawyer based in Dublin. While in Glasgow he will have a meeting with Alice that changes his future. Will he also meet the love of his life today?

All Shari's books begin with a cast of characters. This particular volume has this heading: "On This Day We Meet. . ." At the beginning I often think there are just too many characters, but by the end they are frieinds. If you haven't tried one of Shari Low's titles yet, what are you waiting for? This would be a fantastic place to start.

Kara McIntyre had been with her boyfriend, now fiance, for eight years, but when a Hogmanay event went horribly wrong, she ended up with no job, no fiance, no home and no upcoming wedding. Ollie Chiles had been Kara's best friend since they were children, and always had each other's backs. But when Ollie's wife, actress Sienna Montgomery, was caught in a compromising clinch with a fellow actor, with the video going viral, Ollie needed to work out which was best - heading to Hawaii for Kara, or going to LA to seek out Sienna.

Meanwhile Alice Brookes had finally had the courage to leave her brutal husband after many years, and after staying with Val, a kind, caring and special woman, for six months, was flying to London to stay with her son and his girlfriend, and she couldn't be happier. When Alice met the son of the woman who had once been her best friend, Zac Conlan had a lot of questions for her. Alice had lost track due to her horrible marriage, so Zac's questions concerned her. What would be the outcome for these people who were drawn together?

One Day and Forever is another excellent story by Shari Low which I enjoyed very much. A lot of characters, but it didn't take long before they all slotted into their places. The four MCs - two who knew each other (Ollie & Kara) and two who'd never met (Alice & Zac) were pretty much perfect in their own ways, and although I only recently discovered Shari Low, I've been entertained by each of her stories, with this one no different. Highly recommended.

With thanks to NetGalley & Boldwood Books for my digital ARC to read and review.
