Running three book discussion groups at my library, I’m always on the lookout for resources to deepen my understanding of literature, and "How to Read Novels Like a Professor" by Thomas C. Foster hit the mark. Listening to this audiobook took me back to my college days, where reading for analysis was a big part of my life—something I genuinely miss.

Foster’s insights are both thought-provoking and practical, giving me plenty of ideas to bring to my book groups. But what really made this audiobook stand out was Tristan Wright’s narration. He manages to keep things lively and engaging, steering clear of that dry, textbook feel. His delivery made it easy to stay focused and enjoy the content.

I’d definitely recommend this to any librarian or reader looking to get more out of their novels. Whether you’re leading discussions or just want to dig a little deeper into your own reading, this audiobook is a fantastic companion.

Thank you to Thomas C. Foster, NetGalley, and HarperAudio Adult for sending me the ALC in exchange for an honest review.
