Whal's "Health Explored" follows him on a journey to various parts of the world as he strives to learn from cultural focuses on aspects of health. As he navigates the globe, he experiences ways various cultures use connections to the water, forest bathing, and the importance of togetherness with loved ones as a means of increasing their health - whether that be mental health or physical wellness. Hats off to Braeden King, the photographer - his photographs are stunning and really bring each location and the individuals they interact with to life. I would find it hard to believe that everyone couldn't find at least one gem in this book that they could add to their lifestyle to increase their happiness or well-being. For that reason alone, it is worth the read!

The author travels around the world learning important lessons on how to be healthy and happy. There are spiritual advisors in every area, and while they are in far-off lands, the lessons can apply to living anywhere.
Finding balance is hard and this book shows how to get a different perspective. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Health Explored is a concise and insightful guide to happiness and wellness. The author delves into time-tested principles of joy and contentment, drawing from experiences in eight cities worldwide. Through this journey, we uncover simple yet meaningful changes that can lead to a fuller, happier life—whether it’s deepening our connection with nature, caring for others, or simply taking a moment to stop and appreciate the beauty around us.

The action items at the end of each chapter serve as a helpful reference for health and well-being, making the book practical and engaging. The accompanying photographs add depth to the narrative, creating an immersive experience for the reader.

However, the ebook’s small font made it challenging to read in full, so I skimmed and focused on select paragraphs of interest. A larger font size would have significantly improved the reading experience.
