⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – A Second Chance That Will Steal Your Heart
Kennedy Ryan has done it again! Can’t Get Enough is a breathtaking second-chance romance that brims with passion, heartache, and the kind of emotional depth that leaves you reeling long after the final page. With her signature lyrical prose and unflinching exploration of complex emotions, Ryan crafts a love story that is as poignant as it is scorching.
A Love Worth Fighting For
The story follows Greyson Eastwood, a man who once had it all—the love of his life, a promising future, and a sense of purpose. But life (and his own mistakes) took all of that away. Now, years later, he’s a single father trying to be the best man he can be while navigating the painful reality of past regrets. When Lexi Grant, the woman he never stopped loving, reappears in his life, all the emotions he buried come rushing back.
Lexi is no longer the wide-eyed dreamer she once was. She’s built a life for herself, learned from her own heartbreaks, and isn’t about to let Greyson waltz back into her heart without a fight. But the pull between them is undeniable, and as they navigate their past wounds and present desires, it becomes clear—some loves never truly die.
Kennedy Ryan’s Magic
What sets Can’t Get Enough apart from typical second-chance romances is Kennedy Ryan’s masterful storytelling. She doesn’t just tell a love story—she makes you feel every ounce of longing, regret, and hope. The chemistry between Greyson and Lexi is electric, but it’s the tenderness woven through their interactions that truly makes their relationship shine. Ryan writes love in a way that feels real—messy, complicated, and absolutely worth the risk.
The emotional stakes in this book are sky-high. There are gut-wrenching moments that will have you reaching for tissues, but there’s also a steady undercurrent of hope and resilience that makes every heartache worth it. And let’s not forget the banter! The push-and-pull between Greyson and Lexi is deliciously tense, filled with the kind of sharp, witty dialogue that makes you smirk even as your heart aches for them.
More Than Just Romance
Beyond the love story, Can’t Get Enough is a novel about redemption, self-worth, and healing. Greyson’s journey as a father adds layers of depth to his character, making him even more endearing. And Lexi? She’s the kind of heroine you root for—strong, vulnerable, and unwilling to settle for anything less than she deserves.
Ryan also touches on important themes such as forgiveness, the weight of past mistakes, and the courage it takes to let love in again. It’s romance with substance, the kind that lingers in your soul long after you’ve finished reading.
Final Thoughts
Can’t Get Enough is everything I want in a romance—beautifully written, emotionally gripping, and utterly unforgettable. It’s the kind of book that makes your heart ache in the best way and leaves you believing in the power of second chances.
If you love deeply emotional love stories, second-chance romance done right, and swoon-worthy heroes who fight for their happily ever after, Can’t Get Enough is an absolute must-read. Kennedy Ryan just keeps proving why she’s one of the best in the genre.

I loved Hendrix’s book—it was exactly what I expected. I loved seeing Yasmen and Soledad make appearances in this book; their sisterhood is beautiful. Maverick is everything to Hendrix, and she deserves so much love. I admired how strong she was throughout the book and how she never wavered, even in the tough situations she faced. Kennedy Ryan did an amazing job with the Alzheimer’s representation. If I hadn’t known about it before, this book would definitely provide insight. Kennedy Ryan has done it again—this book was so worth the wait for me.
Thank you Forever for the opportunity to read this book early in exchange for my honest review.

Kennedy Ryan’s third installment of her Skyland series takes the readers on a very different experience from the previous two novels in the series. If you are just joining the Skyland family, then maybe you don’t know the backstory. Yasmen, Soledad, and Hendrix are sistergirls and we get to watch each of them evolve in their love lives with the kinship of friendship. We see them hold on to each other during difficult decisions, self-doubt, and personal successes. This novel is a little different because Hendrix’s sistergirls are not as close by her side as she has been with them during the first two novels. Their support and love are still ever-present, but there are some extensions of friendship and support that also carry her through.
Hendrix’s story in Can’t Get Enough highlights that period in women’s lives where they have to put on their big girl clothes and face the world alone. It is not that Hendrix’s friends are not with her emotionally and physically when they can be, but there are some things a woman has to face head on. Hendrix does this with grace and style as she confronts the struggles of her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis, her brand building, and her once in a lifetime opportunity at love. We go on a rollercoaster with her that reminds us that the darkness does not always win. The easy way out for Hendrix would be to give up on herself, her mother, and the possibility of love, but she doesn’t and it leads her to her strongest self.
Ryan’s books always create the feels. Can’t Get Enough does just that. The raw and real of dealing with a parent in the throes of Alzheimer’s was so close to home that a reader cannot help, but know it comes from an authentic place. The pain of betrayal is reminiscent of that lesson we all have to learn and the complexities of creating a love is reflective of the way in which this very novel is built in layers. Love is not easy to find or maintain and Kennedy Ryan helps us to see what is possible. We just Can’t Get Enough of Kennedy Ryan.

Wonderful reading! I’ve been waiting for Hendrix’s story, and it was well worth it. I adore how she was loved, how she loved, and stood up for Black women. Ryan’s note about how it was related to UNC’s policies rang so true. Ultimately, so great to see Black love, joy, and resilience!

3.5 stars rounded up. I really loved Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us, and I didn’t enjoy this one for sure, but it just did not live up to the other two. I love Hendrix and I love Mav and I love them together! I LOVE Hendrix being spoiled by dating a billionaire because she deserves the world!! I did not like the whole drama with Zere at all. I wish there was a bigger gap between when she and Mav broke up and when he and Hendrix started dating (or just take her out altogether, she didn’t add anything). The storyline with Hendrix’s mom seriously broke my heart. Seeing a situation like that, having a parent with dementia, is so so heart wrenching. I loved the themes of community (especially the women!!) with Hendrix and her mom. Overall, I did really enjoy this book, definitely shed a few tears, but there were some dislikes that overshadowed the rest a bit. I will definitely be reading more from Kennedy Ryan though!!
Thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this conclusion to the trilogy! I loved getting to know Hendrix as a character, beyond what we see of her in the first two books. She sometimes came off as a little over the top in those books, but here we see such a different and more complex side of her character. I loved Maverick's character--sort of the definition of "if he wanted to, he would." Highly recommend!

Hendrix’s story was a lot different than what I thought it would be — but I liked how everything wrapped up in the end & seeing her be consistently true to herself. She navigated through A LOT of transitions! A new relationship, pouring into her friendships (my favorite bestie trio), her mother’s Alzheimer’s journey ❤️🩹and with her career + foundation. Hendrix really is that girl! a woman confident, full of life and with the biggest heart.
I really loved seeing Hendrix home in North Carolina with her mom + aunt 🥹 Kennedy Ryan displayed Alzheimer’s throughout the book with a lot of thought & care as well, which I appreciated.
I will say, this is my lowest rated book in the Skyland series. I did not enjoy the side characters story at all. Skipper & Bolt were weird/ and it seemed out of place to add that side storyline. Bolt’s personality was just terrible to me.
I also didn’t love the idea of Hen & Mavericks relationship starting while he was (to the public eye) still with Zere. I think because Hendrix is such a strong & beautifully written character, the “she stole my man” conflict did her a disservice.
All in all, I love Kennedy Ryan SOOO MUCH and the Skyland series will forever have a place in my heart 💓

Miss “I can do it all myself, but if I had a good man, I can learn to be soft” finally gets it, y’all. And let me tell you, I read this book in ONE DAY. One! That’s how you know it’s good.
Wrapping up the Skyland series, Can’t Get Enough had me all in my feelings. Honestly? I liked it even more than This Could Be Us. If I had to rank them, it’s Before I Let Go holding strong at number one, then Can’t Get Enough, and This Could Be Us coming in third. But trust me, they’re all worth the read.
Hendrix? Total boss babe. She knows what she wants, and she stood her ground about not wanting kids. Pure rich auntie vibes, and I was absolutely here for it. Plus, grown, sexy, mature characters in their 40s? Yes, please!
Now let’s talk about Maverick. Whew! He officially made it onto my book bae list. We’re talking billionaire trope and forbidden romance. And if you’re like me, that forbidden tension just hits differently. Kennedy Ryan delivered the heat with a few scenes that had me like, “Oh, you wish that was you, huh?” Lol! And let’s not forget, she knows how to make a man growl for his woman. Maverick was down bad for Hendrix, and I loved every second of it.
But what really got me? That moment when Hendrix realized she doesn’t have to do it all alone. She’s got Maverick now, and the man is ready to step up. Don’t we just love a strong man who lets his independent woman lean on him? Yes, we do!

@kennedyryan1 one thing your always going to do is write a strong kickass female black woman and one sexy man of her dreams! This whole series from start to finish was been amazing. The series is 5 stars ppl read it. I highly suggest reading books one and two first. I am grateful I was able to get an ARC of this one l, thank you @readforeverpub and @netgalley . The author is know to pour her heart into her books and she did with this one also. The tough topic of Alzheimer was strong in this plot and I am thankful that is not one battle I am currently having with my parent. The story dives right into the lives of Hendrix and maverick. Both are self made, successful, and brilliant in their own rights. Each of them are perfect on paper resume wise but they are missing Love ❤️. They had an amazing up bringing. They each got to witness that once in a lifetime love from their parents marriages, which makes them settle for nothing less. Whew I’m so happy the electric slide at a party can bring good ppl together. When these two met the chemistry was there you feel it through the pages. Their love story was one of the best negotiations I’ve read, literally. I highly recommend this whole series! Please let me know what you guys think. Shout out to my beautiful thick black women with curves in all the right places 😍.

I absolutely loved this! Kennedy Ryan is an absolute magician who is able to make a story so raw and real that also has such a swoony romance. Hendrix is such a strong character who also has her vulnerable and soft moments. She is so confident in who she is and what her goals are. And she was absolutely not prepared for the immediate connection she felt to Maverick. But he is a MAN OBSESSED. He wouldn't take no for an answer (in a good way) and kept chasing after Hendrix.
Like Kennedy's other stories, this one definitely has some hard and heart breaking topics, a major one being her mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis. The way that Maverick was there to support Hendrix through this incredibly hard time had me weeping. It also didn't hurt that he is a billionaire and made good use of his private jet and bank account hehe
Such an amazing end to this series. I absolutely adore this group of women!!

I knew Hendrix story was going to be powerful but this exceeded my expectations. Representation matters!! An independent woman fighting the uphill battle that many women in positions of power fight daily. Mix that in with a love that could be classified as forbidden and a mom adjusting to an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. There is no way this book wasn’t going to put me in my feels, big time! If there’s one thing I love, it’s a romance that grabs me by the heart and doesn’t let go. This book did exactly that! I gave it a perfect rating because it was everything I could have wanted. Hendrix & Maverick have electric chemistry that had me RACING to devour their banter. The more serious topics in this were also, as usual, written beautifully and with such great care. Finishing this book left me with an overwhelming sense of joy, happiness, pride and peace. Kennedy Ryan has an unparalleled gift for portraying us Black women in all our beauty and power.

Hendrix's story in Can't Get Enough is one that resonates with me and my dating journey. As a hyper-independent woman in her late 30s, who's never been married and child-free by choice, it is so refreshing, and rare, to see yourself in the main character of a romance novel. Kennedy Ryan does an exemplary job of depicting the frustrations and assumptions that women in this demographic so often encounter. She does this while also shedding light on the hardships of caring for aging loved ones in a manner that is authentic and relatable. This book proved to be a beautiful tie-up of the Skyland Series while furthering the storylines and relationships from the previous two books. This will be a book I return to again and again.

Thank you to Netgalley for the arc. This is the third book in the series. I really enjoyed this book. It was heartbreaking, amazing, funny, and romantic. Hendrix has a great life. She has a loving family, a bunch of friends, and a great job. She also cares for her aging parent, but everything changes whe n she meets Maverick. She didn't think she had time for love, but he changes all that for her. The seas so beautifully written, I didn't want this book to end.

Leave it to Kennedy Ryan to write a romance that is emotional, raw, real, politically relevant, and deeply romantic, all at once. Hendrix & Maverick have electric chemistry that had me RACING to devour their banter. The more serious topics in this were also, as usual, written beautifully and with such great care. I just loved this book.
In addition, it broke my Oathbound induced reading slump, so YAY.
IN KENNEDY RYAN WE TRUST!
*thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc copy in exchange for my honest review*

Amazing, spectacular, give me 15 more books 😭😭😭 All hail the romance queen, Kennedy Ryan 👑 This is hands down my favorite book in the series and I can’t wait to read it again with my book club this summer!

This book gave me ALL OF THE FEELS! Baby Kennedy Ryan did it again! I love the Skyland series and this wraps up the stories of Soledad, Yasmin and Hendrix perfectly. The story shows Black love, parent- child relationships and more.

This book was was amazing. I loved Hendrix’s storyline! I just lost my grandma to Alzheimer’s last week and hearing about Hendrix’s mom made me at peace. At first it’s hard to deal with the diagnosis but hearing about Hendrix’s story gave me a better understanding. The way Kennedy Ryan does her research for her stories is amazing! Thank you so much

Can't Get Enough:

* A LIL DOSE OF SPOILERS *
First off—Hendrix is that girl! The ultimate ride-or-die friend who always says what we are thinking.
I loved seeing her show vulnerability in this story. Kennedy Ryan did a phenomenal job portraying Alzheimer’s with care and depth—she always handles tough topics with such thoughtfulness.
This book is a powerful reminder that we can’t love someone into changing or force them to compromise their boundaries. People will always find their way to what they truly want.
And let’s talk about that closet scene—whew! I was on edge the entire time, just waiting for them to get caught!
Maverick’s understanding of Alzheimer’s was so touching. The way he showed patience and care with Hendrix’s mom had me tearing up. Beyond that, the book beautifully highlights how caretaking and nurturing aren’t exclusive to motherhood. Hendrix’s role in her family dynamic shows just how important these qualities are, even outside of traditional parenting.
As always, Kennedy takes complex topics and makes them deeply human, reminding us that we are all worthy of a happily ever after. Kennedy Stan FOREVERRRR!

Well…this is the first of the Skyland series that didn’t make me cry…so that’s something.
I don’t know y’all. I was really excited for this- the first two were everything I needed in a romance novel (don’t ask me to expound on those needs because I can’t 😅)
I really wanted to love this, but…this…this was just okay. The messy forbidden romance trope was a lot, Skipper and Bolt gave me the ick, the characters in general weren’t popping off the page like before, and I just wasn’t feeling this relationship at all. Something just felt off.
I’m giving it a generous ⭐️⭐️⭐️
While it wasn’t my fav, I’d say to still give it a go at least to finish the series!

🌹 Book Review 🌹
A huge thank you to @kennedyryan1, @readforeverpub & @netgalley for my ARC of:
Can’t Get Enough: Book 3 of the Skyland Series—releasing 5/13/25
You do not want to miss this perfect ending to this perfect series!
Kennedy Ryan is a true master at weaving a swoon worthy, steamy, & strong romance in with a meaningful, challenging, and authentic journey for the characters. I am never left short on wanting and needing to reflect the words of her stories while also embracing alll of the butterflies that come with the romance!
Hendrix’s story may be my favorite of the 3, even though it’s truly hard to choose; Maverick for sure became my favorite MMC of the series 🥹
Hendrix is a fierce, successful business woman of many facets, and childless by choice. Something that KR absolutely excels in is showing the ways in which Black women contain MULTITUDES. She showcases every woman so wholly individually, giving breath to both their obstacles and their triumphs. Hendrix being the utter badass we all knew she would be still had problems that were authentic.
I was so appreciative to see the realities of her navigating her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis and all that comes with it while maintaining her ability to thrive in business and navigate a budding romantic love. She was perfectly layered— written like a person I feel like I came to know in real life.
And Maverick? Wow. He was incredible! I loved seeing his own business ventures and his journey to learning the ways that a true and deep love evolves who we are. Hendrix is his PERSON, and I loved seeing him embrace and honor her as such.
Lastly, I cannot round out my review without highlighting the beauty of Hen’s beautiful friends revisited, Yasmen & Soledad. The beauty of strong, healthy friendships between adult women is so need and so well represented throughout this series; it sets these books apart in the best way.
I’m so sad to be walking away from these women and their stories, but I’ll carry them always in my heart. And maybe reread them all, too 🤓
Get this on your TBR stat!
And start with Before I Let Go
