What a beautiful tribute to sisterhood and female friendship the Skyland series is. I am so filled with love and gratitude for my girlfriends after sitting with how this series ended for a couple hours.
Can't Get Enough is centered on Hendrix, who was a favorite supporting character of mine in the first two books in this series—she is the carefree, plus-sized, brown-skinned, childless-by-choice, rich auntie that is dependable, cool, and full of life! So when I say I needed Kennedy Ryan to come real hard when it came to giving Hendrix the love she deserved, I meant that! And Maverick more than delivered for me. He was attentive, kind-hearted, and completely serious about Hendrix, and the way he pursued and wooed her gave early 00s Black romance movie, which I LOVED. But enough about him LOL.
There is, with all Kennedy Ryan stories, a story that takes up a lot of space: Hendrix's mother is living with dementia, and a lot of this story is about Hendrix's journey trying to juggle her ever-expanding career with an ailing mother, aging auntie, her friendships, and a new love. Ryan strikes a delicate balance here; Hendrix's family dynamic especially resonated with me because I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's and am very involved with the care of my parents as they get older. Her friendship dynamic also hit home with me because I am so blessed to love and be loved by my girlfriends. I found the social commentary surrounding Hendrix's work to be poignant and timely, and I hope that certain types of readers will meet her halfway in that extremely important conversation as the world continues to go the way it's going. I adore that Kennedy writes about real-life issues in real-time, but something about this book felt very ~for me~ and I am glad I read it when I did.
I said to a friend that this book feels different from the others in this series because art, in general, feels different right now. More impassioned, more introspective, less joyful, in a way. Hendrix experiences joy a ton in this book, but she is also melancholic and reflective, and that tone resonated deeply with me. This book also feels different because Hendrix IS different—I don't think I've read a female main character like this from Ryan ever, and that means that this book read different colloquially, culturally, etcetera. I really enjoyed reading this type of writing from Ryan and hope to see more of it! Ryan refers to a quote by Nina Simone, pasted below, that I think really sums of the essence of what I'm trying to say here, and I think serves as a call to action to engage with art in a way that meets the artist halfway in their intention:
"An artist's duty, as far as I'm concerned, is to reflect the times. I think that is true of painters, sculptors, poets, musicians. As far as I'm concerned, it's their choice, but I CHOOSE to reflect the times and situations in which I find myself. That, to me, is my duty. And at this crucial time in our lives, when everything is so desperate, when everyday is a matter of survival, I don't think you can help but be involved. Young people, black and white, know this. That's why they're so involved in politics. We will shape and mold this country or it will not be molded and shaped at all anymore. So I don't think you have a choice. How can you be an artist and NOT reflect the times? That to me is the definition of an artist."
While I will say I struggled with Maverick being a billionaire—I just don't think there's a way to ethically be one, even if you're super charitable and kind—I will also say that is very much a me thing. I've never hesitated to pick up a billionaire romance in the past, so I didn't think twice about my willingness to dive into this one, but I also want to be honest that the private chartered planes didn't land with me, pun intended. I loved his family dynamic as well, and I always love how Ryan's male main characters border on being fantasy characters with how soft they are with the women they love! We often see billionaire romance with alphahole MMCs but baybeee there's something about Maverick where he doesn't even have to do all that but points were made just the same.
Oh and Zere—go sit down somewhere LOL.

this book was a stunning conclusion to the trilogy of romances following our trifecta of powerful black women in Atlanta. I loved Hendrix‘s conclusion, especially because it brought together Soledad and Yasmen and concluded their stories in a beautiful and harmonious way. Seeing two successful Black leads navigate romance in a mature levelheaded way was phenomenal in a reading experience. The lack of miscommunication took a huge weight off my shoulders but did not take away from the tension of the plot.

Kennedy Ryan never fails to deliver a romance that draws you in from the very start!

Can't Get Enough tells Hendrix's story, and like many of you I'm sure, I was highly anticipating her story after getting to read what a BOSS she is in the first two books of the Skyland series. Strong. Independent. High Achiever. Fun. Confident. Fabulous friend and auntie. She knows who she is, what she wants, and doesn't hesitate to go after her aspirations. And you see this here. You also see another side to her. A more vulnerable side. And it's in this, that she connects with Maverick. A tech mogul billionaire who takes one look at her, and knows he wants to know more.
This story is about so much more than romance. The author doesn't hesitate to dive into tough topics that are real, and current. But the romance... It was lust at first sight and I was here for it. They get to know one another though, sharing a common connection. There is some forbidden vibes, but not really forbidden vibes you have to read to know... But the tension and chemistry between these two was off the charts. Like, it oozed off the pages. And when it finally implodes... dang. That coat closet scene!?! But the tender care that Maverick brings as well, it made me swoon. Just the way he SHOWED UP. When you know, you know, and these two don't make it hard despite obstacles in their way. I adored them together. A powerhouse couple.
While this story pulled me in right away, it did loose a little steam for me in the second half. There was some repetition too. And the pacing felt off in places. But overall I really enjoyed Hen & Mav's story. The family and friend dynamics. The women's fierce friendships. The easter egg character drop in's from other series. The nod to Port Charles (cracked me up). A devastating medical condition. A timely civil rights case. It all made for a great story that will not only make you feel, but inspire, and make you think.

Kennedy Ryan does it again! I absolutely loved this final installment to the Skyland series. Seeing Hendrix (the rich auntie lol) finally get her happy ending was everything. And don’t get me started on Maverick! My man my man my man!!! He did not play about Hendrix and it was so beautiful to see their chemistry and love grow. And in true Kennedy Ryan fashion, this story had so many moments that had me reaching for the tissues. I absolutely adored this story.
Thank you Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the early copy.

I couldn’t put Can’t Get Enough down—it’s that addictive as with all book by Kennedy Ryan!!! Kennedy Ryan crafts a story that pulls you right in with witty dialogue, sizzling chemistry, and characters that feel like old friends.
I was completely absorbed by the blend of humor and heartfelt moments, and the tension kept me eagerly turning pages.
The book strikes a perfect balance between playful banter and emotional depth, making every twist feel both surprising and satisfying. If you’re in the mood for a romance that’s as smart as it is steamy, this one’s a must-read for me!

There is nothing except pure magic that comes from reading a book from Kennedy. I don't know where she pulls from to write such heartfelt and powerful novels but she seems to have an endless supply of it.
I have been craving Hendrix's story since the moment I met her in the first book of this series. Kennedy did not disappoint and fell so in love with how fierce and loyal Hendrix was. Maverick was the perfect match for her and you can't help but swoon over this man and the way he craves to take care of Hendrix and give her soul a safe place to rest.
Kennedy is constantly pushing the envelope and writing stories that are powerful and meaningful. This book hits you in the heart. As someone who watched their parent take care of their aging parent, this book feels like it was pulled from my own brain. It hurts but it's important.
With every book I read from Kennedy I just fall more in love with her talent again and again. Everyone should be reading her books.

Kennedy Ryan does not miss. She is, without a doubt, one of the best romance writers of our time. Her ability to craft characters that feel so real, so nuanced, is unparalleled. Even when they are vastly different from me, or even morally gray, I get them. That’s the magic of her storytelling. She also doesn’t shy away from tough topics, illness, mental health, political issues, and in today’s world, that depth is more necessary than ever. She’s the perfect example of an author who gives romance so much more than just love, she gives it meaning.
This book follows Hendrix, a beautiful, plus-size, intelligent woman in her early 40s. She is childless by choice, living a full, rich life, but love has never been easy to find. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t found joy. Then she meets Maverick Bell, a billionaire who is handsome, brilliant, but emotionally unavailable. Their attraction is undeniable, but the love that blossoms between them is just as complicated as it is breathtaking.
Amidst this, Hendrix is facing a devastating reality, her mother has Alzheimer’s. Watching her navigate this life-changing diagnosis while balancing love, family, and her own needs was deeply moving.
This book hit me right in my feelings. There were moments of laughter, moments of pain, and above all, a stunning love story between two people whose only goal was to be good to each other. It was raw, real, and beautiful, just like so many of Kennedy Ryan’s other books.

“being whole means acknowledging all our parts. And that there were parts of me that wanted to be held, want to be needed and loved.”
If Kennedy Ryan writes it, I am reading it IMMEDIATELY. Can’t Get Enough is the final installment in the Skyland Series, which follows Hendrix. From the second Hendrix shows up in Before I Let Go, I couldn’t wait to get her story and I will say Kennedy did not disappoint.
Kennedy took such good care of Hendrix navigating the different layers of her story and relationship. I am going to let you discover Maverick Bell for yourself but he may have taken she top spot for my favorite Kennedy Ryan “book boyfriend” This is such a fantastic story of staying true to yourself, love, family and friendship. I wish I could stay in Skyland forever.
Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the ARC.

Finally, we got Hendrix's story! I'm a huge Kennedy Ryan fan, and absolutely love this series and the friend trio of Yasmen, Soledad and Hendrix. Three very different women who are close friends, and each has their own struggles and challenges. Hendrix is a woman who is independent, accomplished and wildly successful in her own life. She is not waiting on her person, but she is enjoying life to the fullest. She is also balancing the heartbreak of caring for and watching her mother suffer through Alzheimer's disease. This book drew me in from the start, made me laugh, cry, and cheer on Hendrix as she navigates life and love.
Hendrix meets Maverick Bell, billionaire businessman, at a party, and their chemistry and connection are instant. From the start, they admire each other physically, but they also connect on an emotional level. They soon become friends and Maverick pursues Hendrix with intention and purpose. Maverick is gentle and loving with Hendrix, and I was blown away by his level of respect and kindness towards Hendrix. Their story continues to develop, and I loved to see how both characters show up for each other. Their chemistry and attraction to each other is off the charts, and they have a beautiful story. I particularly loved how supportive Maverick was of Hendrix's mother when Hendrix needed him most. Trying to find love later in life comes with a history of heartbreak and disappointment, but Maverick never gave up in his pursuit and caring for Hendrix.
Hendrix is a devoted daughter, and I loved seeing the juxtaposition so many of us have between the many roles in our life. Daughter, businesswoman, producer, influencer, loving friend... Hendrix is so important to so many. She is strong and successful, but really struggling to care sufficiently (in her opinion) for her mother. Ryan finds a wonderful solution for Hendrix to be able to care for her mother and aunt, while still having a productive career and beautiful relationship.
I love the Skyland series because of the amazing friendships the main characters share, and I love that Ryan gave each woman her own beautiful love story too. Full of steam, lots of emotions, angst, longing, heartbreak and intense love, Ryan's books draw the reader in and take us on an emotional ride with resolution and a wonderful ending. I also love how Ryan weaves social justice and equity into this story in a significant way. This book has it all!
While I'm sad to see the Skyland series end, I loved every page of Hendrix's story. It was worth the wait, and the entire story was amazing. I can't wait to see what new characters Kennedy Ryan brings us next. Get out and read all of the Skyland books, Before I Let Go, This Could Be Us, and Can't Get Enough. You will love these amazing characters and their beautiful stories.

Kennedy Ryan is going to write, that’s a given. She always delivers emotion, depth, and storytelling that lingers long after you turn the last page. This book had all of that—it was heartfelt, layered, and tackled real-life struggles with care and nuance.
Hendrix’s journey was compelling, and I appreciated seeing her navigate love, family, and personal growth. The emotional beats? Yeah, they hit. And Maverick? A patient, steady, Black billionaire who gave her space to be vulnerable—he was everything. Their chemistry was there, but something about this book felt different from the first two. The romance took a backseat at times, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that a little something was missing. The depth was there, but not in the ways I expected, which left me wanting just a bit more.
That being said, the themes of love, friendship, and resilience still shined. Kennedy Ryan knows how to craft a powerful story, and even though this wasn’t my favorite in the series, it’s still a book worth reading. I’ll definitely be checking out the audiobook to see how the experience lands differently.

Cried a lot. I really really loved this one. Give me emotional stories. Also loved no third act breakup! A step up from her second book in this series.

Hendrix! Hendrix! Hendrix! It was refreshing to see a more in-depth look at the softer side of Hendrix. The story gave all the rich auntie vibes it was supposed to give!! Hendrix deserved to find a person that could validate her in every way, and I was rooting for her throughout the entire story. I loved how Maverick encouraged her to let go and allow him to love her while reaffirming her independence. I’ve read this entire series and Hendrix’s story did not disappoint!

I loved spending more time with Hendrix after being introduced to her in Before I Let Go. Her carefree and child free by choice boss energy + the way she shows up for everyone in her life made me love her real bad, and in this story, it was no different. Every scene with Hendrix, her mom, and her aunt were my favorite because they had me hella emotional. I also admired the fact that the discussions on Alzheimer’s in this book was handled with so much care, which Kennedy Ryan always does exceptionally well. I also liked the exploration of Black women entrepreneurs and the influence of real-time challenges for them.
I liked Maverick as a love interest and Hendrix’s internal conflict to let him in, but it took me a second to like them together. Nothing is ever wrong with a Black billionaire boyfriend, okay?! Lol. Mav was persistent, patient, and gave her a safe space to be vulnerable. Their chemistry seeps through the pages (the coatroom chile…), but I found myself missing Hendrix a lot during his POV. I also had a hard time with their romance because it felt like: 1. they didn’t spend a lot of time together so there was a little less romance & 2. the storyline with the ex was taking too much time away from their story. I was so happy that Hendrix was getting her happy ending, but I still wanted more for her!
As always, I also really loved seeing the friendship between Hendrix, Yas, and Soledad continue to shine through in this series. Every girl deserves a group of women who would be your judgement free ride or dies. I will recommend this book!

ARC REVIEW: Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan💜💜💜
Favorite Quote: “I want my love to be the most extravagant gift I ever give you.”😭🥹
My Review: I already knew that I was going to love Hendrix’s story because out of all three of the friends, I relate to her the most. I felt so seen when it came to certain topics in this book. Like the fact that Hendrix chooses to be childless, that’s the exact decision that I’ve made for myself too, and I loved how Kennedy Ryan dives into that topic. She’s just so wise!! There’s more deeper discussions regarding to Alzheimer’s disease, the unfairness of today’s society, and having so much love to give, but finding it hard to let others care for you. That’s what I love about Kennedy Ryan. Her romances are so much deeper than just romance between the main characters.
But when it DOES come to the romance she delivers every time!👏🏽 I was kicking my feet and my heart was swooning for Hendrix and Maverick (who is definitely on my book husband list now🥰). That man put in the work for her and I enjoyed seeing every moment. The friendship between Hen, Soledad, and Yasmen is still so sweet. I love female friendships.💕💕💕
This one really had me in tears, laughing, highlighting, crying some more, and jumping for joy.

Kennedy Ryan never misses! Can't Get Enough is a masterclass in vulnerability, love, and all the messy emotions in between. The way these characters open their hearts, take risks, and love deeply had me hooked from start to finish. If you’re looking for a romance that feels raw and real, this one’s a must-read!

AND SHE DOES IT AGAIN! I absolutely ate Hendrix’s story up! From the relationship with her mom, her clients, and her friends-to the man that is Maverick! I laughed, teared up, squealed. It really gave me all the feels. I love the way Kennedy develops her characters and their stories. It’s always so genuine and REAL. Thank you for this advanced copy.

As always, Kennedy wrote a beautifully complex love story, navigating grief, self-love, friendship, and living authentically. I felt so deeply for Hendrix throughout this story, and reading about a love story where they decide that what’s most important is that they are “good to each other” and become each other’s “soft place” was so special. The passion and connection were both present during every interaction between Hendrix and Maverick.
I find that so many romance novels end in the very typical HEA, kids, marriage, etc and that is completely valid. But it was an absolute breath of fresh air to read through a fulfilling and beautiful love story of a woman who is sure she does not want kids, and to have her partner not question the decision, or try to change her mind. Maverick respected that she knew what she wanted, full stop.
Hendrix and Maverick’s story was the perfect ending to the Skyland series. The epilogue was an absolute treat, and felt like it brought everyone’s stories full circle in such a satisfying way.

This book was just not for me. I love Kennedy's writing style but the characters were not engaging and every conflict felt like something that could have been solved with a simple and mature conversation. Every character in this book was aroused to be older than me and it just felt like they were immature and not likeable to me. Points for a plus sized FMC portrayed in a positive way, but this was a DNF for me.

4.5
The thing I love most about Kennedy Ryan is her ability to write emotions and characters and love. Hendrix and Maverick compliment each other in such a lovely way and their attraction turning to genuine deep love was wonderful to witness. There are a lot of heavy topics in this book with Hendrix's mother and the decision that she has to make but especially as the third book in this series there is such a strong community of friends we have already met and meet in this book.

4 Stars – Smart, Swoon-Worthy, and Deeply Emotional
Kennedy Ryan does it again! Can’t Get Enough delivers a stunning mix of passion, ambition, and heart-wrenching depth. Hendrix Barry is the kind of heroine I adore—fiercely independent, successful, and balancing the weight of family responsibilities with her own dreams. Enter Maverick Bell, a tech mogul with charm, persistence, and just the right amount of forbidden allure. Their chemistry? Absolutely electric.
Ryan masterfully blends romance with real-life struggles, exploring themes of caregiving, ambition, and vulnerability in a way that feels deeply personal. The push-pull between Hendrix and Mav had me hooked, and the emotional depth made their journey all the more satisfying.
While the pacing lagged in some areas, the payoff was worth it. If you love swoon-worthy, grown-up romance with substance, Can’t Get Enough is a must-read!
