I really enjoyed the heart of this book. It contains the romance and beautiful writing that we come to expect from Kennedy Ryan and in particular the Skyland Series. I appreciate how it tackled Alzheimer’s and what it’s like to be a caregiver. We also got to see some political themes at the end with the lawsuit. Racial discrimination looks so different in today’s world yet has a similar bite. I think the story did a good job of showing how black people that have reached certain levels of success can still face attacks. Overall beautiful story.

I am actually very disappointing with this installment. I reread the first two in this installment and then immediately started this one. So I feel that I am sound in saying that this one just did not hold up and it was just fine. Extremely average. That is very disappointing as a Kennedy Ryan lover. She is usually so spot on with everything that she writes and I felt so disconnected to this book, which is something I never thought I would say about it. I am child-free by choice and also work as a caregiver to people who have Alzheimer's and Dementia so i just knew that I would relate and that was just not the case. Everyone's experiences are different but I do think that there is a universality when it comes to most things and this book did not hit the mark.

We know from the two previous books that Hendrix is child free by choice. It is obviously mentioned in this book but the explanation was every surface level. You don't have to go into depth with anyone on that choice but it was just very plain and boring here. I could have cared less for Maverick, our main male character. He was just so boring. The romance was also way too focused on another character for me.

The only place that I felt that signature Kennedy Ryan feel was when it came to Hendrix and her family. But other than that I was very let down. I would recommend the series overall but I will definitely say that this is my least favorite in the series. I will be listening to the audiobook when this one comes out to see if that form of reading resonates with me more.

Can't Get Enough is the third book in her Skyland series, but the first one I've ever read, and I'm impressed! I've heard lots of great things, and this one certainly did not disappoint.

Hendrix and Maverick meet at a party as two people who can't entertain the idea of being together, despite their attractions. He's technically with someone else, and she's on the brink of a major deal with his significant other that will lead to the career she's dreamed of for a long time. But he does overhear an emotional conversation between Hendrix and her mother with Alzheimer's on the phone, and offers to lend a hand. His own grandfather suffered through the same disease. As time passes, Hendrix and Maverick grow closer and closer until neither of them can deny what they're feeling anymore.

One thing I loved about this book was how realistic it felt. Hard conversations were hard, intimate scenes don't go off without a hitch, painful things are very painful. The author really puts herself into the shoes of her characters, and you can feel that as you read it.

The story between Hendrix and Maverick isn't the most straight forward, but it is sexy as hell. Mav is a millionaire, and that man moves money to make things happen. I can admit that can be romantic! I loved how there were some tough decisions to make, and hard circumstances to navigate, but none of it got in the way of the truth of their feelings for one another (no third act breakup!).

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, and I'm excited to go back and read the rest of the Skyland series!

Note:: I received an early copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

**Contains a few spoilers** I want to give Forever a huge shout out for this advanced copy. I don't even know if I can adequately describe how I feel about this book. I read this book over the course of 2-days, I simply could not put it down. Kennedy tackles some sensitive topics in this book, and she handles it with such grace. I actually was introduced to Kennedy Ryan from the Skyland series. I devoured the first 2 books and have been waiting patiently for Can't Get Enough. One of the things I loved about this book aside from the topics of Alzheimers, was how Kennedy stood ten toes down with Hendrix not wanting children. It is such a taboo subject, and women do tend to shame other women who do not want children and I love that Hendrix never shied away or was intimidated by others for how she felt. The forbidden love-story that turned into a once-in-a-lifetime-type-of-love had me clutching my pearls and heart! Can't get enough of Can't Get Enough! Pun intended. Looking forward to reading anything Kennedy Ryan.

I'm in constant awe of everything Kennedy Ryan puts out into the world. When we met Hendrix in "Before I Let Go", I immediately knew I would be thinking about her for a long time. & she was definitely worth the wait!! Hendrix felt like a longtime friend that I've been looking forward to seeing after many years apart. After meeting her in BILG, she may have gone to the back of my mind but she was never too far, she's stayed with me even after reading so many others stories in between. I love the way Kennedy Ryan weaves real life (often very personal) stories and anecdotes and expertly weaves them into her work. There were so many layers of this book I could dissect and dive in deeper; Hendrix being an absolute girl boss, women friendships, becoming a caretaker for your parent, owning the decision to be childfree, Black wealth (and the disparity of it- monetary, business opportunities), etc. IN ADDITION to the top tier romance, Maverick Bell was actually insane. Possibly, the greenest green flag Kennedy has ever written. And I've never wanted to be part of a friend group more than I do with Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen. Their dynamic is so fun and I'll miss their unhinged group chats and just having them in scenes together.

But truly, my absolute favorite part of this novel was that of the 3 FMC's in the Skyland series, I personally related to Hendrix to the least BUT her story touched me so deeply. Despite being a mother myself (and firmly believing that for me, having children was something I was made to do) I feel like my empathy and respect for women who not only choose to not conform to the societal pressure of motherhood and find other ways of "mothering" and nuturing infinitely increased. I think it's incredibly brave and selfless.

Thank you infinitely to Forever pub for the opportunity to read another Kennedy Ryan masterpiece early! ♥️

4.5-5 stars <3

There was a lot that I loved about this book. I loved Hendrix's confidence. It was so easy to picture her floating around a room, dancing and making people smile. Kennedy wrote a woman who is about her business but also is very much about her passions and creating the kind of world she wants to see for herself and the people who come after her. Kennedy also knows how to write A MAN. My god, Maverick. I need to find a book about a black boy surfing lol.

I get people's critiques on Hen having a "hard" story, but I also agree with Kennedy's note in her acknowledgements. This wasn't added as just a way to bring in conflict, this was a REAL case scenario that happened recently. There are women who are falling and love and fighting racist systems. It's not fair, but it's real and one thing KR will do is write a real story that still includes the hugs and laughs she knows we all want and need.

Basically, I love this series and I cannot believe it's over. I read this slow because I didn't want to be finished with my girls :'(.

Oh man, we have been patiently waiting for Hendrix's story.

Our favorite rich auntie tackles some real upheaval in this one, navigating her mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis and a new business venture. Maverick is the dream hero - deeply invested in his community's wellbeing, appropriately humble and confident, successful but righteous, and all while being fine as frog hair (according to Hen, Sol, and Yas). I didn't anticipate how these two would come together, and it does start messy, but I think it's handled well and rings true to life.

Maverick did not play about his woman, okay?! Whether it was unexpected gifts, a listening ear, a defense of her when she wasn't around, or a playful challenge, he took a woman constantly on edge and in charge and kept her on her toes. He gave her room to rest, and proof that her time and energy was more than worth fighting for. He didn't ask her to sacrifice her life for him, and he made adding him so meaningful that she had no choice but to see him the same way he saw her. Of the Skyland men, Mav's approach is for sure the most aggressive, and I think folks will love it or hate it.

The tension of the build-up to their relationship was so good that the book dipped a little for me between their decision to be together and the end, but the rest of the book is carried by the resolution of conflicts with or between other characters. I think this had a little more filler to accommodate closing out the series and I felt that, so some of the emotional weight of what Hendrix is dealing with and the way it binds her to Maverick is lost to make space for the other character antics.

This Could Be Us remains my favorite of the trilogy, and if you remember my thoughts on Before I Let Go...Josiah's up there with Lawrence from Insecure, we're beefing forever (and Yas had a small moment in here where I wanted to tussle too) but sisterhood, community, and romantic love all get equal placement in Hendrix and Maverick's story.

I didn't have any doubt, but Kennedy Ryan truly stuck the landing with the conclusion of the Skyland series. Hendrix' story was emotional and real as the earlier entries and the romance was top tier. I was giggling and kicking my feet throughout. I cannot recommend this book and this entire series enough. While I am sad to let this friend group go, I am very excited to see what Kennedy Ryan has planned next.

Hendrix’s story is truly wonderful, and incredibly powerful, and so full of heart and soul, that I know it will stay with me for many years to come! Hendrix is the kind of heroine I love to read about, and would love to call her a friend. She is smart, confident, funny, generous, and has a big heart. She loves and would do anything for her family and friends, but also needs them for support and grounding. When she is about to achieve a huge goal, she meets the first man who could be her match in everyway. Unfortunately he is off limits, or is he? Maverick is a charismatic billionaire Tech mogul. He feels a connection to Hendrix from the moment he laid eyes on her. No matter how hard she pushes him away, he works even harder to show her that he really sees her, and wants to be to her what she is to everyone else, support, warrior, comfort, and lover. But can she find the courage to be vulnerable with him when she needs the strength to take care of her aging mother? When complications arise for Hendrix, I loved how Maverick supported her and was there for her unconditionally. He was so swoony with his unending love and patience. He is definitely a sexy hero who will make your heart skip a beat! They are so perfect for each other and their chemistry is off the charts! I also love her relationship with her girlfriends who are so essential in each other's lives. Kennedy Ryan’s writing is absolutely exquisite. She writes with a deeply profound and insightful understanding and portrayal of people that is truly incredible. Her stories are so genuine and compelling, making me fall in love with every word. This third book in the Skyland series is another beautifully poetic, thought-provoking, emotional, and sizzling story that had me laughing, crying, and swooning from beginning to end!

This book was everything I wanted and more from the series! I was so incredibly happy to be able to finally read Hendrix's story, and for her to receive such a fulfilling and beautiful one from the author. It tied everything together, and I can't wait to see what the author has in store next for all her readers (me included!)

If Kennedy Ryan has no fans I’m no longer on this earth!!!

I’ve been waiting for our child free queen Hendrix to have her own story and it did not disappoint. Mav was the perfect book boyfriend, with a private jet that refused to bend to the laws of time and space. And the scenes featuring their 2 assistants had me cacklingggg. It’s so hard for me to write reviews for this woman at this point because how many ways can I say she’s one of the best writers of our time?! LOVED all the cameos from the Kennedy Ryan cinematic universe (KRCU if you will). So I would highly recommend reading Long Shot at bare minimum before this if you have time! I’m so sad to say goodbye to the Skyland series but I’ve loved every part of it.

More things I loved:

- curvy/plus-sized FMC
- billionaire romance (but like, done well lol)
- 40+ in age for both leads
- set in Charlotte and Atlanta (shoutout!!)
- the coat closet scene had me 🤭

TW: dementia/Alzheimers

Thank you to the author and publisher for the arc. Can’t get enough will be published on May 13th 2025!

Really sad for this series to end, but man, what an ending.
My favorite thing about romance books continues to be their ability to tackle really tough subjects while guaranteeing us a happy ending.

I literally "can't get enough" of Kennedy Ryan's books! As soon as I see a new one come out from her, its an instant read for me. I love the way the characters intersect throughout, although they are all stand-alone stories. I loved this book! Cannot recommend this one and her others enough!

QUICK TAKE

It is a swoon-worthy, emotionally rich romance that proves love isn’t just about passion—it’s about partnership, healing, and finding a home in another person. Kennedy Ryan delivers yet again!

TROPES YOU’LL LOVE

💛 Billoionare Romance💛 Found family💛 Second chance at love💛 Strong, independent heroine

Blush Meter:

🔥🔥🔥🔥 (4/5) – Steamy, but the emotional depth is what truly sets the pages on fire.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A powerful, beautifully written story about love, family, and resilience. Kennedy Ryan never misses.

DEEP DIVE

Some books make you swoon, some make you cry, and some reach into your soul and rearrange the furniture. Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan does all three. And then some.

Kennedy Ryan has never been just a romance writer. She’s a storyteller who takes real-life struggles—love, loss, resilience, identity—and weaves them into something deeply personal yet universally moving. Every time I pick up one of her books, I know I’m signing up for something that will not only make me fall head over heels for her characters but will also challenge me, move me, and stay with me long after I turn the last page. Can’t Get Enough was no exception.

A Love That Feels Real

At its heart, this book is a love story—one that burns slow, steady, and undeniable. Hendrix and Maverick are two people who see each other in a way that few people ever do. Their chemistry crackles with intensity, but what really got me was the intimacy—the way they talk, the way they support one another, the way they just exist together.

Maverick is the kind of love interest who isn’t just about grand gestures and sweet words (though, trust me, he delivers in those departments, too). He’s thoughtful, emotionally mature, and willing to step up in ways that go beyond romance. He understands Hendrix’s struggles, and instead of trying to "fix" her, he just stands beside her. And let me tell you, that kind of love? The kind that holds space for you without trying to change you? That’s the good stuff.

Hendrix, on the other hand, is a woman who has spent so much of her life taking care of others that she’s forgotten how to let someone take care of her. Watching her learn to lean on Maverick, to accept love without conditions, was one of the most rewarding aspects of this book. Their relationship is not just about passion; it’s about partnership, and that’s what makes it so incredibly powerful.

The Emotional Core: Family, Grief, and Healing

While the romance was enough to have me hooked, what truly made this book unforgettable was the way it handled themes of family and caregiving. Hendrix’s story isn’t just about falling in love—it’s about navigating the complexities of being a caretaker, about balancing personal desires with family responsibilities, about the heartbreak of watching someone you love slowly fade away.

Hendrix’s relationship with her father, who is battling dementia, hit hard. As someone who has experienced the weight of caring for a parent, I found myself in her moments of exhaustion, her guilt, her questioning of whether she was doing enough. Kennedy Ryan captures this reality with such grace and honesty—there’s no sugarcoating, no over-dramatization, just raw, real emotions.

And then there’s the found family element. One of my favorite things about Kennedy Ryan’s books is the way she builds community—the friendships, the support systems, the people who show up even when you don’t know how to ask for help. Hendrix isn’t alone in her journey, and that’s what makes this story so uplifting. Love, in all its forms, is what carries her through.

What I Wasn’t Expecting: The Spice Overload

Now, I was prepared for some steam. Kennedy Ryan is no stranger to writing intimate, passionate scenes that feel deeply personal rather than just surface-level smut. But what I wasn’t expecting was how explicit these scenes were and how many there would be.

Now, everyone has their own limits for what they can handle in romance, and I know many readers will eat this up with no complaints. But for me? It was a little too much. The reason I fell in love with this book was because of the characters—their depth, their struggles, their emotional connection. The sex scenes, while well-written, started to feel excessive, making certain moments a little awkward rather than enhancing the story.

There were times I just wanted to stay in the heart of their relationship—their conversations, their growth, the healing they brought to each other. The sheer number of intimate scenes pulled me out of those moments, and I found myself skimming some of them just to get back to what I actually loved about the book.

Kennedy Ryan’s Magic Touch

Kennedy Ryan’s writing has always been in a league of its own. She doesn’t just tell a story—she makes you live it. Every emotion, every moment of tension, every whispered word of love feels real.

The way she writes intimacy (not just physical, but emotional) is unparalleled. The conversations between Hendrix and Maverick had me clutching my chest because damn, they just get each other. It’s not about forced conflict or unnecessary drama—this is a romance between two adults who know who they are and what they want. And that alone makes this book stand out.

And the attention to detail in her storytelling? Impeccable. The way she seamlessly incorporates social issues, cultural nuances, and lived experiences into her stories without making them feel like a lesson or an info dump? That’s skill.

Final Thoughts: A Must-Read (With a Heads-Up for the Spice Level)...

If you’re looking for a romance that’s just as much about life as it is about love, Can’t Get Enough is for you. It’s a story that acknowledges the struggles of adulthood, the messiness of relationships, and the healing power of love. It’s a book that makes you feel—deeply, intensely, and wholeheartedly.

Hendrix and Maverick’s love story is the kind that makes you believe in the kind of love that shows up, that stays, that heals. And honestly? That’s the best kind of romance there is.

But if explicit scenes aren’t your thing, just know that this book leans in to the heat. So if you’re looking for something with more emotional depth than physical intensity, you might want to prepare yourself—or skim a little, like I did.

Either way, Kennedy Ryan has crafted yet another unforgettable story, and I Can’t Get Enough (pun fully intended) of her writing.

Until the next swoon-worthy story… happy reading and happy romancing! 💕

Kennedy Ryan once again delivers a poignant and powerful story with the final installment of her Skyland series, this time through the lens of Hendrix Barry. Hendrix is a true lioness: unapologetically fierce and unrelenting in her pursuits. Whether it's her career, relationships, or personal growth, Hendrix embodies the spirit of strength and independence. Yet, much like many hyper-independent women, she craves a soft and safe space to land, a theme that resonates deeply throughout the novel.

What struck me most about Hendrix was how fully she captures the "strong, rich auntie" vibe—bold, confident, and at times a little untouchable, but also deeply human and relatable. I found myself feeling overwhelmingly seen through Hendrix's character. Her struggles with vulnerability and the challenges of balancing power and softness felt so real and refreshing. Ryan's ability to showcase this dynamic, multifaceted woman is nothing short of remarkable.

The relationship dynamics in this story are beautifully layered, and as always, Ryan doesn't shy away from exploring complex emotional terrain. The love story, while central, never overshadows the personal growth and healing Hendrix undergoes. This is a love story that is as much about self-acceptance as it is about romantic connection.

Overall, Skyland concludes on a note that feels both satisfying and bittersweet, leaving readers with a sense of closure while still holding on to the emotional weight of the journey. Kennedy Ryan has once again demonstrated her unmatched skill at weaving together love, strength, and vulnerability, making Skyland an unforgettable series.

I love me some Kennedy Ryan. I really do. I was excited to read Hendrix story because my girl was a force!! I mean - she still was in this story. Hendrix moves to the beat of her own drum and I love that.

I started the book off sobbing. Hendrix navigating her mother’s illness shook me to my core. But it was the best part of the book - to me. As we get older, often times we become our parents caregiver. And this is while having to manage the life you created while they were well. I loved the village and community and the rawness of it all.

I did not swoon over Maverick and Hendrix 😩😩 First time ever with a KR book. Idk if the how got into the way of it all but I wasn’t a fan lol. He was a great friend to her and he did love her for sure. But eh. The epilogue was probably the part I loved most with then.

All in all, Kennedy Ryan will always have a way with words. Talk about SOBBING?! The acknowledgement took me all the way out. If you know you know & honoring such a beautiful soul makes me love Kennedy Ryan as an author and person even more.

Oh my gosh this book was so good!!! Kennedy Ryan a romance-writing queen. I'm obsessed with her writing. It was an absolute delight reading about these two people in their forties who know who they are and what they want and realize that part of what they want is each other. This is one of my favorite romance series of all time. I did find it super annoying how immature Mav's ex was but Hendrix and Mav remain mature through the entire story. This book managed to have an annoying ex storyline while repeatedly side-stepping opportunities to pit them together. It was so well done. Do yourself a favor and pick this series up because it rocked my whole world and set a new standard of romance for me.
